@BTRouse52 Right on bro. IMHO; Gundam Wing's art style has the most impact. The design and concept for the mobile suits have got alot of that distinctive Swagger that you'd get from a series that you'd know will last... I was trying hard to watch and appreciate later series such as SEED, but the characters sorta felt like plastic dolls to me, and the Gundams looking rather plane and lackluster(Tho undeniably more "techy" than the wing series)
2. Gu Fei is my least favorite pilot. He acts like a little girl the whole anime, and in the end, he couldn'n support the "insufferable pain" of being defeated by Treize. In their rematch, if Treize would not had wanted to die, he would have defeated again that coward who was not ready to spare his life, like he did.
3. No videogame of Gundam Wing transmits the real feeling of the anime. None of them makes justice to this masterpiece.

Okay people time to nerd out here The gundams from the Wing series are the strongest. the engines used in Zero, Tallgesse, and Epyon all go so fast they can kill the pilots out right. On top of the the gundanium armor is the strongest and lightest metal know to man then on top of that Zero and Epyon are coated in an anti beam armor also then the real stuff the Zero system which allow the pilot to see with 99% certainty the out come of any battle. Only mustache gundam can top Wing Zero

Epyon,Fast Fire Power high but sadly it's Most powerful weapon is the Whip which is it's Melee weapon. ( Destiny can take down Epyon with it's Wing Of Light Effect. Any Weapon for Destiny will do as long activate it's Wing Of Light is enough )
Speed is the Slowest among Gundam Wing and Epyon. ( Infinite Justice can play with Deathscythe since both of this Gundam Mobile Suit is Close Quarter Combat Mobile suit. Infinite Justice use it's Saber and Speed already can win Deathscythe easily. )
1 more thing,In term of technology Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny already can win Gundam Wing Mobile Suit. SF,IJ,Destiny Pilot got Seed Mode. GW,Epyon and DS don't have.
@zetagundam12 It is fast but He attack speed is still slower than Strike Freedom. If EW gonna use its Twin Buster,I bet before it charge finish the Strike Freedom already cut him into pieces. Also,Strike Freedom got the upper hand,why? Strike Freedom can go for Melee and Range. ( Both Attack Speed for SF are Fast ). If EW or WZ 1vs1 with SF in Melee,it will be nice to see. But if both of that Mechine fight in Range,I bet some of us already know the Answer.
@zDual the buster rifle has an alternate firing mode that you don't see much in the show or movie but some sidestroies show it as well as video games where it is fired just like a very high powered beam rifle
@zDual zero system just won the war it shows the future which would easily allow him to win a sword fight and the strike freedoms aimbot is fairly predictable

Aw what??? 00 Is pretty goo! It is just like Gundam Wing except with more character development and more fake anime boarder line science. Setsuna very much resembles Heero a lot and Marina also resembles Relena very much. Actually, all the characters in both timelines have an equivalent. Although you may be right about Epyon and Wing Zero owning the suits in 00...Double Buster Cannons are way strong and have a good firing rate compared to Tieria's GN Bazooka...
My sisters used to watch Gundam Wing all the time. I was 5 at the time, but I always loved the songs from it. Even though I don't really watch Anime anymore, this is always enjoyable to watch to this day.
I wanted to watch and finish Gundam Wing series and every other Gundam series I can watch!! I loved a lot of the Gundams as well, and the winged Gundam Zero-Custom is one of my Top Favorites!! I still have the PS2 game, Mobile Suit Gundam: Journey To Jaburo. The game actually have the trailor to this series and I've always watched it!! Of course, there are also other series as well. Every time they fought int he series, they were even but Zechs had a slight advantage every time even though the Epyon was way slower of a machine and the Tallgese lacked the strength of the Gundams. What's so damn special about the Wing Zero, it's got 3 weapons.. A beam saber, a long range beam riffle that self destructs the gundam, and shitty vulcan cannons on it's shoulders.... Everyone is just on Heero's nuts and the flashy angel wings

@ichigofanboy no shit, I was being sarcastic saying the wing zero self destructed because it blew itself up firing it's main weapon. The fact of the matter is, Heero was not the best pilot. Neither was Zechs. Treize was the best pilot in this series. He toyed with Wufei with the Tallgese II (basically spare parts from original) Wufei nearly killed Heero every time they fought and Zechs relied on the Zero System just like Heero. Treize didn't need such garbage.
@bobbyewing311 To be fair, Zechs was a pretty good pilot even without the Zero System. He piloted the original Tallgeese for a long time before switching to the Wing Zero and then the Epyon. Even in the movie he used the Tallgeese III which didn't have the Zero System and he was just as good as he always was.
@Zetra7 meh, I'll give you that. The Tallgese didn't have the zero system and when Heero piloted the winged gundam but he got obliterated by the worst pilot (Quatre) when Quatre was piloting the Wing Zero and and Heero was using the Mercurius and Trowa was using the Vayeate.
The Mariemaia Army more like. Then again it's probably just Trowa infiltrating them. Making it look like there's 1 of them would be a bad day by his standards.
I dunno if Gundam Wing was the best series(though I think it is), but this definitely had the best mobile suits EVER. Seriously, the Wing, Deathscythe, Heavy Arms, Sandrock and Shen Long, hell even the Tallgeese and the Epyon werethe most badass powerful motherfucking machines created in all of Gundam existence.
I like the fact that in this series the Gundams weren't invincible. They portrayed that "Yea I'm a badass" feel but at the same time were still subject to damage and destruction.
i have to say, i used to be a freakin transformers fan til i was 6 when my older brother weeded me to play mobile suit gundam federation vs zeon, and then i really fell in love with this series :D
What really makes me burn with anger is the two dubs that they did of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. It makes me cringe to hear the line dubbed as "I'll destroy you." instead of the cooler more bad ass "I'll kill you."
@Xradris Perhaps because Zechs never intended on "winning" with his "performance". I may be wrong but that's my theory in regards to Zechs since the series hardly tells you much directly when it comes to the characters.
@Xradris its tough to say, all physical and mental aspects point towards herro but mobile suite engineering point towards epyon especially in melee combat, but you also have to take into the account the zero system, and the differences it had between the two suites

Epyon,Fast Fire Power high but sadly it's Most powerful weapon is the Whip which is it's Melee weapon. ( Destiny can take down Epyon with it's Wing Of Light Effect. Any Weapon for Destiny will do as long activate it's Wing Of Light is enough )

Deathscythe [ 1 of my Favorite in Gundam List ].
Speed is the Slowest among Gundam Wing and Epyon. ( Infinite Justice can play with Deathscythe since both of this Gundam Mobile Suit is Close Quarter Combat Mobile suit. Infinite Justice use it's Saber and Speed already can win Deathscythe easily. )
1 more thing,In term of technology Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny already can win Gundam Wing Mobile Suit. SF,IJ,Destiny Pilot got Seed Mode. GW,Epyon and DS don't have.

@zetagundam12 It is fast but He attack speed is still slower than Strike Freedom. If EW gonna use its Twin Buster,I bet before it charge finish the Strike Freedom already cut him into pieces. Also,Strike Freedom got the upper hand,why? Strike Freedom can go for Melee and Range. ( Both Attack Speed for SF are Fast ). If EW or WZ 1vs1 with SF in Melee,it will be nice to see. But if both of that Mechine fight in Range,I bet some of us already know the Answer.

@zDual the buster rifle has an alternate firing mode that you don't see much in the show or movie but some sidestroies show it as well as video games where it is fired just like a very high powered beam rifle

Gundam in general is good, and i like how you separated zero, deathsythe, and epyon, leaving out sandrock, shenlong/altron, and heavyarms, more than likely b/c zero, deathsythe, and and epyon are your favorites. i'm not even going to say which is best b/c out of all the gundams in the entire franchise... it's too hard to pick one, let alone a few. there's just too many.

@RTmusicCA and also they have made games in arcades and psps in japan that are known as some of the better gundam games out there that actually pit the gundams together in a dbz tenkaichi style of game play and in that game wing zero and epyon over power the seed and 00 gundams but if both are used by really good players then i just have to say that the skill of the gamer would matter although stat wise the older gundams seem stronger

Aw what??? 00 Is pretty goo! It is just like Gundam Wing except with more character development and more fake anime boarder line science. Setsuna very much resembles Heero a lot and Marina also resembles Relena very much. Actually, all the characters in both timelines have an equivalent. Although you may be right about Epyon and Wing Zero owning the suits in 00...Double Buster Cannons are way strong and have a good firing rate compared to Tieria's GN Bazooka...

My sisters used to watch Gundam Wing all the time. I was 5 at the time, but I always loved the songs from it. Even though I don't really watch Anime anymore, this is always enjoyable to watch to this day.

I wanted to watch and finish Gundam Wing series and every other Gundam series I can watch!! I loved a lot of the Gundams as well, and the winged Gundam Zero-Custom is one of my Top Favorites!! God damn, Gundam Wing. This was my SHOW! I can't even explain the place this series has in my memory. It was the fist program I ever set aside time to religiously watch everyday. It was also the the source of my first OTP. Fuck everyone, I shipped 1xR like BURNING.
Watching it just brings up all these warm fuzzies. I... might need to go get the series on DVD.

Every time they fought int he series, they were even but Zechs had a slight advantage every time even though the Epyon was way slower of a machine and the Tallgese lacked the strength of the Gundams. What's so damn special about the Wing Zero, it's got 3 weapons.. A beam saber, a long range beam riffle that self destructs the gundam, and shitty vulcan cannons on it's shoulders.... Everyone is just on Heero's nuts and the flashy angel wings

@ichigofanboy no shit, I was being sarcastic saying the wing zero self destructed because it blew itself up firing it's main weapon. The fact of the matter is, Heero was not the best pilot. Neither was Zechs. Treize was the best pilot in this series. He toyed with Wufei with the Tallgese II (basically spare parts from original) Wufei nearly killed Heero every time they fought and Zechs relied on the Zero System just like Heero. Treize didn't need such garbage.

@bobbyewing311 To be fair, Zechs was a pretty good pilot even without the Zero System. He piloted the original Tallgeese for a long time before switching to the Wing Zero and then the Epyon. Even in the movie he used the Tallgeese III which didn't have the Zero System and he was just as good as he always was.

@Zetra7 meh, I'll give you that. The Tallgese didn't have the zero system and when Heero piloted the winged gundam but he got obliterated by the worst pilot (Quatre) when Quatre was piloting the Wing Zero and and Heero was using the Mercurius and Trowa was using the Vayeate.

I like the fact that in this series the Gundams weren't invincible. They portrayed that "Yea I'm a badass" feel but at the same time were still subject to damage and destruction.

@Xradris its tough to say, all physical and mental aspects point towards herro but mobile suite engineering point towards epyon especially in melee combat, but you also have to take into the account the zero system, and the differences it had between the two suites
