I actually prefer them over the musics of the Mega Drive/Genesis version. I still don't understand why they changed the musical score completely for the MD/Gen version instead of just readapting it to the console sound capabilities.

This was without a doubt one of the better Superman games to come along. The side-scrolling beat-em up format works great for Superman and the developers nearly totally captured the essence of the Man of Steel. They could've added some sight invunerability ala Capcom's Marvel fighting game series, but it's understandable given that nearly all the enemies are ether mutations or armored. Thanks for posting this.

Actually, he can. I can't remember exactly, but I think you have to either press jump twice, or Up (on the directional pad) and jump together.
