Like you can kind of tell what county someone is from (like yorkshire/cornwall) but obviously some people have stronger accents than others but yeah i can tell if someone is from the north/west etc. if you look cheryl cole, she has a geordie accent (from Newcastle which is in the north) and its really different from the south:)

I live in the south of england and alot of people speak abit like her but not as pronounced if you know what i mean. but there are literally like 100 accents in england, depends where you go :)

@hdfs94 hi. i live in america and idk if you're familiar with the accents here but there don't seem to be nearly as many as are in england. like we have southern (texas, alabama, etc.) and then people in california and new york basically talk the same, and then there's like a boston and manhattan accent, etc. not too many i guess. but you, being from england, can you like, tell where a person is from in the UK based on their accent? like i know some are obvious but even the not obvious ones?
