The only reason some people like the Twilight Series is because of how 'hot' the actors that play the characters are. Twilight is all about superficial things and most of the characters have a flat personality. The few things that define them are their selfishness and pretentiousness. The only reason some people like the Twilight Series is because of how 'hot' the actors that play the characters are. Twilight is all about superficial things and most of the characters have a flat personality. The few things that define them are their selfishness and pretentiousness. I see no reason to compare the greatest writer in English history to Meyer. Even a 10 year old can write like that, and by this I mean the technique not the fluff. @123LovelyLily No BD1 did not make more money than DH2 in the US. Deathly Hallows 2 is the highest grossing movie in the US for 2011. BD1 is third and it's not going to catch up to DH2 which has earned over 381 million in the US alone. BD1 has made over 272 million at the moment I believe and it might make 290 million by the time it's finished. It's a great run no doubt, but you shouldn't make up 'facts' that simply aren't true.

From the perspective of me. I think harry potter is awesome. The reason why twilight is addictive is not only does it make one feel better reading it, but its a pull in read. The grammar on the other hand is not favored by many. Harry potter books have values, twilight gives them away free handed.
