i have had one of these phones for a year now and it is one of the biggest piles of shite i have ever bought it shuts it's self down constantly when playing music, the map is worse than useless, it's old, crap and it feels it, the batt life is awful, i was a big nokia fan before i bought this and i aint buying another

The dictionairy is really crap on this phone.. in danish, my languede, its hopeless, BUT the phone is really cheap in denmark, if you buy it with 200 kr. (Kroner, the money in denmark) of talk/sms/internet use every month, the phone costs 550 kr. when you buy it.. The phone has really great camera, okay internet browser, and the mp3 and radio is really good. The map is weird on my phone, it cant find anything, and is there or is there not a GPS reciever in the phone?

I was really doubting whether this phone would be a good purchase or not, but i was pleasantly surprised :) So fat, this is what i like about it + Looks awesome + Comfortable + Good camera + Pretty straightforward Nokia design + Lots and lots of customization settings (will cure many things that may annoy you at first) + Decent signal + Great value (Lots of features for the money) + A good 'in between' smart phone + 2g and 3g compatible + Comes with 2gb memory card

this phone was a great upgrade from the 6300. two days ago i was on here looking at this video, doubting whether this was a good phone (after reading lots of mixed reviews) and whether i should just get the cheaper "more reliable" 2730 instead. but now im sitting here with the 6700 slide in my hand, i bought it and its awesome. after a little trial and error and getting used to, and googling a couple of confusing settings problems this phone is great.

@piepiecute You are most welcome and glad you got the C5 it's Much Better Than the 6700 i managed to compare both of them this week and i Liked C5 , The Camera , You won't feel that much difference with 6700's 5Mpix cam , produces big pictures but low details , and it's cheaper too :)

@TheMorningCoffee This sounds absolutely perfect for the job. I would not advise you get a Lg touch screen. I admit the screen looks cool and some are nice looking phones, but the screens as i have experienced and seen have shit touch, and if you think about it, you wouldnt want your car keys ruining the 'controling part' of the phone, this Nokia Slide would be perfect as it is all controlled by buttons, and does it very well. Feels very solid as it is mostly alluminium, not shitty plastic.

@TheMorningCoffee And Lg cameras arn't well known for their quality, this phone has a great camera, i will be uploading some videos/pictures/sound recordings onto my account soon so you can see the quality. Don't think i work for Nokia, i am 16 and just being honest about it as i know how hard it is to choose between phones with similar specs. The camera is a Carl Zeiss 5mp camera, and it is great for a phone that has so much on it.

I have a bassy sound system in my room and i recorded a 1 minute clip of it at full whack and it picked up every sound beautifully, it doesn't distort like most other phones when played back on the computer for e.g.

I've always been a fan of nokia. They're so underated. I'm actually get rid of my Iphone 3g and replacing it w/ this. This is way too stylish and original. Tired of seeing Iphones everywhere. Lol. Don't get me wrong, the Iphone is top, I think. But for originality's sake, while retaining basic smart phone functions, this definitely a must for me.

@martindude100 yes you can, go to settings, settings , general, personalisation, standby mode, home screen application, BUT make sure it is on 'Contacts Bar' and too check this go to Standby Theme in da same list as home screeen application, den hus tick/untick 'Conactcs Bar'... :)
