Is it illegal to run a bike without its speedo if you have GPS? (mine is on the very edge of its next service, but I can't get it in till 2 weeks from now, but I need it for work, so I was thinking off taking the speedo off so I can do mile on it without the shop knowing)
@TheExpertDude A GPS could qualify as a speedometer so that would be legal, but if you ride the bike for any period with the speedometer disconnected you're required by law to check the box on the title that says "the odometer reading is not the actual mileage" when you sell it. I don't know of any way they could catch you if you failed to do this, but it would still technically be illegal.
