This is disgusting. I actually live in Mcgregor which is a suburb in the far west side of Canberra and this farm is literally 2 minutes from my house. You can actually see the sheds from my front door. Sometimes i lay awake at night thinking about the cruel practices that are happening to hens near my house. Sometimes on a windy day you can smell it. It's fucking disgusting and the ACT government should be ashamed of itself.

As I watch this clip, I have a goose, 4 ducks and several wild birds outside my door, each with a name. They are my friends and I see them as wonderfully interesting creatures. I cannot imagine any of them without their freedom to run into the water, or play in the dirt... There is no difference between free range systems and factory farms. The animals are still typically subject to painful mutilations without anaesthetic, and are killed prematurely.

The two things that you can do are donate to Animal Liberation NSW and put up posters everywhere you can telling of the awful conditions in Cage Egg farms.
