I hate heroics now a days. Heroics should be quick and easy since they do become a grind. But now they are moderately challenging (Not for me.. really) and time consuming. Ive quit so many heroic dungeons due to such stupid failures.
I liked Wrath, grind easy ass heroics> get the badges from there> Get enough to get better gear > get geared enough to raid> get better gear from raiding while enjoying the content.
raid finder would work since we have a dungon finder why not a raid finder its simples and for lol on another vid you talk about unranked and bans and now i've been banned til after christmas and like 26th of dec and since that ive warned everybody i know to never play lol since the bans are harsh and most of the time its not my farut on leaveing so now i left the game for now and im starting to get in a terrible state of mind that all mmos are bad and stupid i know this is not true so ?help me?
Your last comment made me think about music. You've got quite a few bands that started in the 60s,70s, and 80s, that are still around, still doing tours, producing new albums, etc. And they made enough money to retire years ago but they keep doing it because they love music and love performing. And then out of the dozens of bands that had "hits" in the 90s you've got like 3 of them that are still around who didn't just make one hit, make some money, and then break up over "artistic differences".
My problem with Cataclysm is that Blizzard's idea of "hardcore" is instakill mechanics where they punish a mistake with failure for the entire group/raid. It's hard to get 10 people to make few enough mistakes that you down a boss. If a single mistake can mean a wipe hard becomes stupid, not challenging. Everyone can be doing everything perfectly, and one person lags and it's a wipe.
this video makes me sad. lk was my favorite expansion since it was the one i was most active in both game wise and socially. really miss those times and the great landscapes. good times that unfortunately will only stay memories... : (
I dig everything of what you said. It's very hard to find a good commentary and questionaire on youtube, but you've really pulled it off - and you do it well! I'm naturally aggressive with my views, so it's wonderful to see a very casual, laid back guy being able to do this, and do it effectively. It's downright soothing, dude. :)
Wrath of my favorite exspansion because everything was so much easier to do like dungens, raiding, pvp. And like dungens were easy and quick which was good because you have to do those everyday, and raiding had the perfict mix between hard and fun which was great.
I can't stand people who piss and moan about so called "Elitist". I just leveled a new character to 85 last week and over a week of casual play in BG's and Heroics I have a full set of Vicious PvP gear and almost full il359+ PvE gear. Just because you are lazy and/or terrible at the game does not make everyone else "Elitist".

@ssjwes I just don't like lazy self entitled people that's all. I don't care if someone has bad gear or decides they don't want to Raid or PvP. It's the people that get all bent out of shape when we say we can't take them into a Rated BG or Raid because they have level83 greens on and it would be detrimental to everyone else. If you are going to partake in difficult content with several other people put forth the effort because I will not make 9-24 other people suffer at your expense.

I totally agree with Wowcrendor in his response to the second question. Normal dungeons and raids should be tuned and categorized for casual players while Heroic dungeons and raids should be tuned for hardcore and dedicated players. The only reward from Heroics you should be getting is extra achievements and better loot.
Hardcore players don't care about content only visible to heroic modes, they're after the personal challenge, and casual players want to be able to experience everything.
CC isn't hardcore. It's basic game play. You're probably just picking on this, because of the lack of content at level cap. They are, however, separate issues.
Dungeons in LK became too easy too fast. There were plenty of them, but when you just burst through dungeons you kinda miss out on the content provided. Yet you pine for the spamfest where you didn't actually experience it, just ran through it with blinders on.
Just saying, the current design is better. There's just too little to see.

it should be: u start normal dungeons, when u finish them all, you unlock all normal raids, once u finish all of those u unlock all heroic dungeons and once u finish all heroics dungeons u unlock heroic raids.

@MultiWowlover123 This is the most twisted view on raiding right now. There are tons of adults who work, have families, and social lives that have success in raiding. Doctors, students, cops, firefighters, etc. Some even being in hardcore guilds. But people will always assume that raiders are basement dwelling neckbeards. And that's what is wrong with the mentality of the community toward raiding. Blizz just needs to put a beginners raid in each tier. Will that quell the complaints? I dont know.
@mortestump I mean how well locks and rshams work together in arena. put any class with a sham lock and it will do well. They need to nerf the synergy between the classes, it's almost impossible to get 2.3k+ in arenas without playing sham/lock/x
@BladerEXE Rogue/mage/healer or rogue/lock/healer will reliably lock out your shaman while one of your dps gets killed fast. most likely the warlock, because they put out a lot of both cc and damage, and shamans have only riptide and natures swiftness for instacast heals, so well timed cs/kicks/etc basically locks them out of healing completely for long enough to at least put out a lot of pressure, if not get the kill.
so your point is right, you just had the wrong classes i think.

Cata heroics not easy? Wtf you talkin' about. I just ran Tol'vir in 15 minutes. CC is 'hardcore'? No... it never was and now isn't even more since they stupefied it to not initiate combat, which is admittedly nice, but it's absolutely fail-proof now if you even need to bother with it. If people are going to bitch about heroics they should go back to BC for a few weeks and then come back and see if they still think this is 'hard'...
@EgoSlayer Obviously? Lol. No. I've been doing them since week 1 where healers went oom on trash AND IT WAS AWESOME. Going from the painful mindlessness of Wrath "heroics", it was welcomed. And considering we're 10 months into the expansion, how is there anything to complain about... Hell, I did Wrath heroics when pugs wiped... and that was far more eventful than destroying a Cata heroic in less than 30 minutes. If you're trying to rush through the dungeon, how is that supposed to be enjoyable?

Honestly, WoTLK was pretty damn good, yes OFC it was easy, but the game, like crendor, said WAY MORE enjoyable than it is now... Now I have to take breaks of WoW to make it fun again... Never had to do that while in WoTLK, BC and Vanilla

I personally think a raid finder might be a bit of a disaster. One person being dumb in a five man is bad but in a raid it's a lot easier to mess everything up. I think we all know how many idiots are in the random dungeon finder and all of those idiots are going to be looking for raids too. Plus i think it takes away from the experience of a raid. I find it fun to actually have to look for people and work to get a raid going instead of just clicking your role. That's just my opinion though. :P

When people start considering CC and putting a little bit more time into something to be "hardcore"...we have a problem. There is nothing hardcore or elitist about crowd control or spending more than 20 minutes in a heroic. Also, there have never been more paths for "casual" players to get into raiding and end game pvp than there are now in Cataclysm.
I find too much of your wow questions are about wow dying and trying to bring it back im not sure if thats what all of your questions you get are about or if you are just choosing to answer them. I sugest answering diffrent questions not about wow dying and what they shoul do to bring it back but more on a diffrent topic
I completely agree you you one WOWQ2 I play a lot but my computer isn't very good and I could do dungeons in wrath but now in cata I can't. I would like to see dungeons that are easy so I can do them. I did a hand full of normal dungeons in cata and I would get DC'ed or even worse my computer would crash all together :( but If the content was easier I could do them. because of this I have gone to pvp and haven't gotten to see any of the cata content. :(

I kinda agree with you that wotlk wasn't that bad. People keep complaining about it being too easy, but at least it was fun. You had always stuff to do. Like you could easily pug a raid, or do a quick instance with friends. You could also do stuff in Dalaran, hang around there (Which I really liked for some reason, just idling in Dalaran was way more fun than idling in org). Nowdays aren't we doing 'quick stuff' anymore. We don't pug raids, we just have nothing to do meanwhile. Which is annoying
I dont know anyone who goes za or zg in LFD. Why would anyone want to get saved to a fail raid. Atleast you can armoy your pugs from the same server. Not to mention you would prolly get stuck with noobs who didnt know fights. Not to mention players that would go just to try to get the achieve so they could get into a better guild on server. Honestly, WoTLK was pretty damn good, yes OFC it was easy, but the game, like crendor, said WAY MORE enjoyable than it is now... Now I have to take breaks of WoW to make it fun again... Never had to do that while in WoTLK, BC and Vanilla

speaking of overpowered champs. all the idiots on PH server started to buy Tryndamere, Jax, Xin Zhao and Vayne and other noobkillers because of their noob-pwning, rage-inducing abilities. thought they could get away and all but, no bragging, I just need Teemo or Mordekaiser to turn the tables.

I personally think a raid finder might be a bit of a disaster. One person being dumb in a five man is bad but in a raid it's a lot easier to mess everything up. I think we all know how many idiots are in the random dungeon finder and all of those idiots are going to be looking for raids too. Plus i think it takes away from the experience of a raid. I find it fun to actually have to look for people and work to get a raid going instead of just clicking your role. That's just my opinion though. :P

why not just make NM raids like for casual players, a bit more than they are now and then hard modes could have 1-2 different modes so then when guilds beat the NM's they can try some EZ bosses on hard mode 1 and then crazy guilds like paragon can do the last crap this should be nowhere near attainable for a casual guild. this should satisfy everyone for pve???

When people start considering CC and putting a little bit more time into something to be "hardcore"...we have a problem. There is nothing hardcore or elitist about crowd control or spending more than 20 minutes in a heroic. Also, there have never been more paths for "casual" players to get into raiding and end game pvp than there are now in Cataclysm.

I completely agree you you one WOWQ2 I play a lot but my computer isn't very good and I could do dungeons in wrath but now in cata I can't. I would like to see dungeons that are easy so I can do them. I did a hand full of normal dungeons in cata and I would get DC'ed or even worse my computer would crash all together :( but If the content was easier I could do them. because of this I have gone to pvp and haven't gotten to see any of the cata content. :(

I kinda agree with you that wotlk wasn't that bad. People keep complaining about it being too easy, but at least it was fun. You had always stuff to do. Like you could easily pug a raid, or do a quick instance with friends. You could also do stuff in Dalaran, hang around there (Which I really liked for some reason, just idling in Dalaran was way more fun than idling in org). Nowdays aren't we doing 'quick stuff' anymore. We don't pug raids, we just have nothing to do meanwhile. Which is annoying

I dont know anyone who goes za or zg in LFD. Why would anyone want to get saved to a fail raid. Atleast you can armoy your pugs from the same server. Not to mention you would prolly get stuck with noobs who didnt know fights. Not to mention players that would go just to try to get the achieve so they could get into a better guild on server. LFR will be alot of fail. Just like LFD in za zg poeple will stop going
