I got the subs used on ebay, paid about $250 for the pair (I only have 1 installed because 2 wouldn't fit) and I got the amp for like $200 used from a friend...but I know that everything retails for much higher

i got two of those and they hit hard. i can't play a song for more than a minute cuz i'll feel uncomfortable. i am using a crossfire vr401 amp for each woofer which is not strong enough. but giving it the proper voltage helps.
