yes you can, you lose all weapons and armour and most stuff above rarity 3 aswell as some rarity 3 stuff aswell

but you keep all your money and you get tickets which make it easier to make new weapons and aroumr

best weapon fr beginner are great sword upgrade or make bone sword better thn steel since the materials are easy to find...until you reach when it need really rare monster part XD

I'd recommend getting Velociprey armor as it will give you enough defence to last to up to 3* quests, and will also give the anti-stun effect which is really helpful.

Very Impressive, but i'v also seen tougher apponents than lao, like on mhf2 think of having a giant crab in your pants like shen gowren or w/e that thing is that takes the same path as lao. also white fata is said to be a pain in the ass just like crimsone, (have to admit i like all fata armor but he white is always tearing my eyeballs out from flashing me ROFL)

Fatalis is pretty simple when you get the hang of it. he is really easy if you gun him though, just got to know when to run from him or you will get 1 hit :D

My advice would be to get a good pair of Dual Blades, and bring 5 mega juices and 5 power juices, with 20 whetstones/10 mackerel etc

some potions would help and a farcaster if u get caught by tail

Basically demonize and use the triangle+circle combo on his head and stomach, and you will deal tonnes of damage. He can only die in zone 5 so try and hit his head as much as poss so he staggers, which gives u more time to take his damage low enough to hit him a few itmes in zone 5

Wow, the rathalos at 3:38 is just DAZED - I can't believe it. I've only just started playing MH, and I'm taking on my first rath and it is KILLING ME. Seems like I can't even walk onto the screen with him, and I'm immediately getting pushed around the screen, fireballs going off, desperate to use a mega potion, and then when my character finally gets a chance to stand up... DAZED. So I'm jerking around the left analog stick, just staring at this freak stampeding towards me!

practice practice! pop a flashbomb right in his eyes and when he is daze put 2 large barrel bomb right on his face and set em off with a small one. hit and run tactics study his moves and youll be fine :)

thanks man - where were you a week ago! yeah, i fought this guy over and over and finally got to the point where i'm not walking up to him just to serve him a meal (myself). i've played a lot of video games and the rath is definitely one of the toughest bosses out there (when you're just starting). i recently got my self esteem up by fighting basarios... a real wimp compared to the rath!

if i were u try using the bow guns and get on a cliff the rathalos cant reach u and shoot it again and again until it dies only problem is if it can reach the cliff or the fireballs dat it throws at u can hit u,ive been using dis technique ever since ive been fighting wyverns(but im still not in the rathalos part but it might help seeing dat it moves like a kut ku and it works on kut ku's)

Just a suggestion, wouldn't've some black metal or death metal made this video a little cooler? As it is, it sounds like the fighter is overly sentimental about his times with the dragons and wyverns - rather being a complete badass who's out to kill a god. It just sounds a little too much like an anime "outro" song to me, which I've never been a fan of. We need emotional intensity when it comes to killing monsters, you guys!

He's saying that get x-link kai, a wifi max, set it up with your PSP and you can play MHF online with that. Just look up x-link kai if you don't get it.

In the farm, the foriest gathering area 12 or 9 in that little hole on the right side of the gorge thing, or if you need them to make flash bombs do the two star village velocidrome quest. (don't know how to spell that) Really just dick around on all the gathering quests untill you find where they are. Also check the swamp too.

khezu on ps2 drops pale lips and a potion thingy with pale in the name, i forgot the full name, and khezu is much tougher then bas, he uses AoE lightning attacks and doesnt get poisoned or stunned easily or for long durations.

pale extract is what i think you mean (similar to power extract from the Gypceros)

its bloody hard to kill even with a sword with the sharpness of platinum (glows white, the sharpest you can get)

use eternal strife or battle poison axe for azure rathalos or regular. if you mean the weapon in the vid thats start out as dragon slayer and my armor is fatalis red set..now if you meant what i originally had when i fought him i had tiltania which requires lots of rathian claws and my armor was azure rathalos set..

Well, the first time I did it I used the Sentoryu Wolf. It has a 864 attack with no bonus. My advise to you is to use the bombs and maybe bring your own stuff to make bomb+ out of. You don't really need to bring anything but food and whetstones anyways. And when he goes into five go to where he spawns at because you get a whole shit load of extra hits, don't forget to use the dragonater(or how ever you spell that :P). I guess you probably figured all this out by now though, right?

try doing some of the quests on the training school,"hint" you are not given your choice of weapon or armor so skill applys(trust me you will get better)

k, the best way to start is to get a great sword, the best starter is the buster blade. At buster + you should be able to kill at least a blu kut ku if you use good tactics. Build on that and eventually youll be able to do kill anything you want. But it will take some time.
