This stupid bitch might be the most ignorant cunt ever to look like a LEGO person. She has NO CLUE what she is talking about. She has NEVER been to a Tea Party Event. Never spoken to a Tea Party Member. She is a Hypocrite and is engaging in the exact behavior she accuses Tea Party Members of. This is why Liberals are worthless when it comes to debate. They can never win the argument based on facts so its always straight to the race card. The best thing to happen to this disgusting bitch is AIDS
The dark haired gentleman on FOx in this vid said that the Tea Party wants to get America back to its roots....he probably should watch the series ROOTS, to see how this country was acutally built. America wasnt built on the backs of hard working Europeans....America was built on the backs of slaves. Even the White House, its self, was built by slaves. FOX claims to be fair & balanced, but they are catoring to low information Americans.
It’s CLEAR that the Tea Party and most of their supporters are the NEW version of the old KKK. Has ANYONE noticed how deafeningly SILENT the KKK has been and how LOUD the Tea Party has been since Obama was elected? No KKK marches on Washington, no KKK crosshair maps, no KKK calls to be "Armed & Dangerous", no KKK running for President in 2012, no KKK questioning Obamas citizenship, etc. The KKK didn’t suddenly have a change of heart since Obama, they are ALIVE & WELL in the new "Tea Party".
I don't care if Obama is purple with pink polka-dots, he's an empty suit man-child. Total naivete. Take away his teleprompter and you get uh....uhmmm...I...uh...uhmmm...well uh...
@pfaber60 You are confusing President Obama with Shrub.Poor Shrub he was born with a silver foot in his mouth. He's absolute proof that money can't buy a good education.
another neo-con trying to rewrite history Nixion was ran out of office because he was a fucking crook/cat burgler. and rumsfeld was there karl rove was an assitant to then dick cheny who was one of rumsfeld cronnies. u just have no fucking clue what this is about. this is about a VERY SMALL group of jackoffs that are upset that this black man one the election if a landslide. and he will win again because the GOP has no ideas.... u need to run on more than just contemp for the black president.
@chipatzuwa You are certainly delusional if you actually think that Bush and Obama are any different and that anyone with the slightest grip on reality cares about what color his skin is. Why is everyone such an easily distracted dolt? How dull does one have to be to see that Obama is doing the same things and then some as Bush? Turn off the TV and read and check sources and educate yourselves with facts. How did this nation become so ignorant and lazy? It's not pitiful, it's pathetic!
Why the fuck they always bring out Hitler and Pol Pot like they know how it is like to survived a genocide? These people disgust me and this is coming from someone who survived a genocide. Fuck you Fox idiots!
janeane is one of the worst of the "B" list celebs..her opinions are not grounded in fact you can tell because she has no valid points she has to resort to atacking people she doesnt know . it is totaly clear to anyone with an open mind. the left has run out of valid arguments. they are blind to the truth.wtf
janeane is one of the worst of the "B" list celebs..her opinions are not grounded in fact you can tell because she has no valid points she has to resort to atacking people she doesnt know . it is totaly clear to anyone with an open mind. the left has run out of valid arguments. they are blind to the truth.
I can't stand Garafalo but her point is solid. I'd wager most of the hatred directed at Obama is racial; they blame him for the problems with the economy, debt, etc. but WHERE did those problems originate from? He has a few problems, but hasn't done anything to earn the level of viritrol the Tea Party directs at him. That those three guys on Fox News don't even address her point, and instead spent the segment criticizing her and Keith Olbermann for being liberals (ad hominem) only reinforces it.
@SatanicFilmHouse Just as those that oppose ILLEGAL immigration are racists also... you are obviously too shallow and obtuse to follow the different path of using your critical thinking and logic. No need to confuse the real issues of this nation with the fact that Obama is no different than Bush. I know it's easier to argue with each other about shit that goes nowhere than to face the uncomfortable reality about what is happening, but soon it will be too late.
@6gentex Damn right they're racists, not to mention morons! If you Yanks succeed in chasing out all the Mexicans, you won't have anybody left to pick your food while you sit on your asses watching reality TV, and you'll all starve to death. And if you think Obama is anything like Bush, your head is so far up your ass it must be coming out of your mouth. Bush is the biggest mass-murderer of the 21st century thus far; Obamacare just can't compete with that.
@SatanicFilmHouse You are clueless if you can't see: Afghanistan war escallation, fake end to Iraq war, more bailouts and less taxes, rise in unemployment, Lets Goldman Sachs and Chase JP Morgan continue raping the nation's coffers, Illegal drone attacks in Pakistan... I could go on, but you are so blinded by the media you can't see that they all are lying hateful distractors. Educate yourself and then open your mouth as you no different than the ones you point your finger at.
Typical product and thought process of the 90s. She is literally nuts...Here is a woman who spent her youth being the live action version of the MTV's Daria making fun of herself for being homely and pudgy... Skip twenty years later to a bitter middle aged woman who sees any congregation of white people as a klan rally. Literally nuts.
oh guy u need to learn how to spell Keith Olbermann's name.. and these FOX fake terrorist newsies are as usual lying.. all they do is lie ..it is just their thing..who r these FOX idiots ?? friends of friends of FOX & Friends ?? it is the stupid tea baggers and sweet Palin that bring up Hitler all the time....u morons have some powerful stupid going on
@xadam2dudex All any of the news talking heads do is lie. Then, all of the partisan morons blame each other for the shit they both do. It's working out real good huh? Why contribute to the cesspool when you can learn and think for yourself and help instead? I refuse to believe that people can be this pathetic and easily controlled. Be part of the solution not the same old problem.
@6gentex these FOX fake news morons have no idea what they are talking about .. ignorance is spread by these propaganda stooges...they do this for the money the job.. they don't care that what they are doing wraps the minds of the simpleminded viewers...I assure u the FOX fake news viewers are truly ignorant by choice...they refuse to accept facts when the facts contradict their believes...that is the difference between a progressive and a tea bagger
@xadam2dudex pfff. You guys aren't worth the time as you're just as bad as the idiots at Fox with your anger.
You're no different than hate spewing morons like Sean Hannity with your narrow small minded attitude. Grow up and look at what is happening to this nation. It's not the President that matters at all. The same assholes are in control no matter who the head puppet is. Open your eyes.
...so when we see the interviews of tea baggers, and they're spouting racist overflow...couldn't someone see them as racists. Now, if that person has five-ten people behind them cheering to the words of the racist interviewee...couldn't one call them racist? This is so pathetic to even argue, we're on YouTube, type in racist tea party, and you will get 5002 clips of tea baggers being racist, and toothless, and inbred...well, I guess you can sum them all up as calling them pathetic.
wow,lol Fox news has the be the worst news network. Pathetic. They know damn well the tea party is racist. They are right about one thing though, the Tea Party wants the country back to how it was in the 1950's. It was great for whites, not so much for everyone else though.
I'm Asian and I think YOU!!! Janeane Garo is a stupid racist. You're a dumb ass racist because you have to resort to the "race card" in just about every political issue in order to attack conservatives. I've suffered through racial prejudices growing up but I certainly don't need a socialist pig headed mean spirited slut filled with hatred trying to defend or represent me as a minority. YOU DON'T REPRESENT ME YOU STUPID SLUT!!!!!!!!
To bad Janeane is a lesbo, what she needs is a big black cock shoved down her throat, it would prove she really does love blacks and it would shut her the fuck up, a win-win situation
@johnedwards1968 Are you John Edwards? Didn't you fuck some bitch while your wife was dying of cancer? Nice work. Im not here to dispel anything shithead. In the future do not speak to me without prior permission. Now go away before I shit on your face.
@jennamarisco Do you hear us now lib? The tea party was responsible for adding 65 seats in the House and have taken the House away from Pelosi and the libs. Pelosi just got her bigoted ass fired. I hope you assholes continue to attack the American people like you have been doing. Stupid ass lib racists and race baiters.
Garofalo is a liberal pundit who routinely sees racism in any opposition to President Obama, and ascribes racist motives to the Tea Parties in particular and the Republican party in general. How does she then account for midterm Republican victories for governors Nikki Haley, Suzanna Martinez, Brian Sandoval, senator Marco Rubio, congress people Col. Allen West, Jaime Herera, Tim Burns and Raul Labrador, and close calls for Ryan Frzazier and Van Tran in congress?
It's funny how failed comedians always turn to bashing conservatives to get attention and work. Maher, Stewart, Colbert, Garofalo, Behar, Whoopi. This "woman" is complete trash.
Rick Santelli called for the Tea Parties, but there actually not anything new. Ron Paul called for theTea Parties in 2007. It's not about race, it's not a conservative issue and its not a liberal issue either. It's an issue we have about the most corrupt administration in history. George W. Bush made a LOT of stupid decisions, and Obama is like Bush on steroids. We need a new Ronald Reagan-like candidate for President in 2012.
These two elitists snobs (Garofalo and Olbermann) exemplify the very worst attributes of the Liberal Fascist. They are the very incarnation of the people they condemn. To suggest the average American who believes in fiscal accountability, responsible and limited government and who want Constitutional principles upheld are "racist rednecks" is the the height of lunacy. These people don't deserve TV shows with microphones. They deserve a padded cell and straight jacket.
Since Fox is interested in "small government" why do they not talk about large subsidies for big businesses? Surely, if Fox News wanted to galvanize a large following behind a Grover Norquist type "small government" they should talk about how governbment props up large businesses... Why don't they do that?!
They are interestedin "small government" for those that would "gain" from a "large government"... namely, those that cannot find a job.
I was just wondering .. do these fox people have to pretend to be dumb to get the job there or they are really dumb? I might be biased because I don't like fox but didn't they watch themselves on the tv once in a while and then realised they looked stupid?
I'd have to agree with her more than the tea party..I went to a tea party, and I saw a sign with Obama with a bone in his nose. Truly ignorant people getting screwed by the people they claim to support, but only fall for the talking points blathered by the Republicans. "Less Government, Lower Taxes" After the tax cuts are let to end, taxes will still be 10 percent less than when Reagan was in office. Now, they want the government to restrict civil liberties by wanting us to carry papers.
How is this shit top rated? It's ignorant and repulsive. BTW - Taxes aren't 10 percent lower than when Reagan was in office you ignorant piece of shit.
@dannon2010 Thats CRAZY! Everyone knows Obama had his nose bone removed before he ran for president. I think michelle is holding it for him inbetween her big monkey legs.
@dannon2010 Just because you saw one bonehead with a stupid sign doesn't mean you can just make a crass generalization about racism like Garafacunt did.
@StonewallJackson26 : 91% of "tea partiers" are white, Christian, over 45 years of age. 75% are conservative. You can say there's nothing racist going on, but when people care enough to go to DC, make signs, and spend all day protesting "Socialism, higher tax rates, fascism" the other myriad of things they claim to be against, even though can't clearly articulate what any of those concepts mean, you have to assume they're protesting something else they don't like about Obama. His skin color.
@BionicV You sound as though you are trying to portray yourself to be an anti- racist. When you clearly demonstrate the crass generalizations necessary to be a racist. Accusing 100,000's of people of racism is absurd.
@StonewallJackson26 where were the baggers when bush was spending like a drunk whore!!! they were supporting him.... they were behind him in the disaster that is iraq, when he tried to ammend hate to the constitution and so on.. they hate this president because hes black/liberal. the lastest gallop poll shows a whopping 80 percent of the people who identify themselvs as a tea party member dont think the president is a citizen of this country. i wonder why!!!!!! why this president......
@chipatzuwa Obamas 2010 budget deficit triples Bushes. Obama has spent more money in two years than any president has in their tenure. Obama is being criticized by Republicans for the same reason why Nixon was run out of office by outraged Democrats. Because they both have done nothing to fix the problems that were handed to them..... they have only make it worse. I hate R's and D's and race means SHIT to me. The Tea Party's cause is not monolithic. There are many different opinions amongst it.
I don't judge our president or any future president for the matter based simply on a color. The color of your skin shouldn't shape you as a person or have any effect on your thought process. What you go through in life is what makes you who you are as well as many other factors. President Obama is failing the American people. All the lies and deceit. We the people can start by cleaning this mess by voting in Nov'. America's been through her ups and downs but we will always prevail.
How in the hell can Fox news commentators come on LIVE TV and DENY that there is any racism going on at these gatherings??? haven't you read the signs?? listened to hundreds of people's quotes at these places? straight up bullshit by the media and idiots defending them.
So I just wonder how the words of king Samir Sabazz make her feel? If he justified
in wanting to kill Crackers and our babies? calling the tea parties racist is just liberal code for shut up and go away. the only racists I have seen at tea parties are liberal plants trying to discredit the movement.
Quite frankly, I could give a rats ass if you're a racist or not!
I don't understand how you Teabag pinheads can get behind tax cuts for the rich (because Obama cut taxes for everyone earning less than 250K) and yet vote NO for extending unemployment for working class American. Stupid.
And oh yeah, here are some numbers to crunch about the racist among you. Have fun with that....
soooo, janeane ... in all your vast intellectual capacity & clarity, if obama had been born with the same "color of skin" as Bill Clinton, i would suddenly love leftist policy & propaganda??? you and Bathtub Boy are freakishly disgusting
I don't like the President's politics. I don't agree with his policies. Are you telling me that if he was white I would all of the sudden agree with his policies? If you can say that about yourself, you are spineless and you stand for nothing.
Snark the FAUX NEWS takes another on in the nuts. Like a cut down war on the play ground in third grade oh yeah! my dady makes more money than your daddy!
What a hate mongering idiot this scrotum lickin HO!! is. Accusing a whole group of people of racism with just scant hearsay evidence of misconduct is exactly what prejudiced racism is at it's core. These hate mongers use the "R" word the same way real racists use the "N" word. In a real sense we should rather feel sympathy for such people since at it's core it is HATE that drives them and sheer wanton ignorance that makes them spew their hate filled rants.
@klamath1016 Janeane Garofalo is a politically correct activist who is outraged by myth and sensationalism rather than being a sharp analyzer of empirical data. She, like others involved with this sort of hype, are more concerned with being superior to subject than with presenting verifiable, well-researched information. It's stultifying to me that so many people can be so far estranged from reality, and still call themselves "intellectuals". It's house-of-cards propaganda and nothing more.
Illuminati controlled fox agents as usual. I have met them where I'm at and they are racists. Where were you when bush was in office! Now you have something to say. What a crock. I'm all for protesting, but come on. Motivation primarily here is racism plain and simple.
Must we always invoke Hiter? BWAHAHAA! This coming from a network that has Glenn Beck night after night bitching about the brown shirts and Hitler also stallion.
Seems as if some people are very very quick to assign racism to the Tea Party which the acronym means "taxed enough already". This is no small wonder because in order for certain "utopian" programs to ever work, we must like mindless sheep go along with being over taxed even when such taxes are not called taxes directly. Everyone who can who disagrees should protest by working for cash only when possible.
Janeane Garofalo is just as pitiful and outdated as racism. We need to hear from America's youth. How do you feel about government regulating what you eat, drink, and smoke? I want to know what my peers think about the nanny state, the down-fall of small business, the mortgage crisis, the credit crunch, and what the future will bring for them?
@AbjectConformity Will it bring more Enrons, AIGs, lead tainted toys, poison-laced baby formula, BP offshore oilrigs, or how about child sweat-shops?
Like it or not there IS a place for government regulation.
Do you have a job? Have you ever had an employer who would take advantage of you? Have you ever been ripped-off? Do you really think that the market will police itself? Greed is too powerful a drive to let run rampant. Those who say there should be no regulation may have a finger in the pie
@Candyliz2003 Actually, the market has a knack for policing itself. Especially competing for QC and customer service, which people demand. It's absurd to paint the picture of a greedy capitalist sending children to work in acid mines. Abandoning popular mysticism, there's no real benefit to a profit driven market when people are exploited. Human error in business (tainted products, etc) is not a reason for the government to over-regulate. Reputation matters in business more than anything.
@Candyliz2003 What was so bad about Enron? Yeah, they falsified data.. it was still one of the best companies to work for with high compensation and great benefits with 20,000 workers. It's a shame, but the reality is that the legislation that follows corporate flimflamming like Enron is worse for the economy than ponzi schemes. The "Sarbox" Act pushed hundreds of foreign investors out of the New York Stock Exchange, and thousands of lost jobs ensued. Feel good about that?
@Candyliz2003 Not to mention you're neglecting the fact that 23 million registered businesses function day-to-day in the U.S without ever proliferating any type of intentional harm to citizens. Conversely, it is these dreaded capitalists that give millions of people opportunities in life, fund charities, endowments, and sponsorships... even taxes that make the government that regulates them possible in the first place.
@AbjectConformity no one is saying do away with businesses (!) just don't let them run without regs. If you look at history the market had its opportunity at freewheeling and we ended up with the Haymarket riots, Pinkertons murdering miners, sweatshops and all the other lovely methods to make a quick buck at the expense of everyone else.
Now it looks like the gulf oil disaster may be due to the companies involved trying to circumvent regulation. Gee, why didn't we let them police themselves?
@Candyliz2003 the same "too big to fail" bankers who got our money are fighting regulation of the kind of behavior that caused all of this trouble and yet it was suggested yesterday on NPR (don't recall who said it) that they are going right back to handling derivatives in the same manner that got us into trouble in the first place.
Must be the QC and customer service that's encouraging this behavior because all of us who lost money on wall street are so happy with our brokerages and their banks
@Candyliz2003 How can you possibly believe that companies are interested in being anything other than a money-making business that can earn it in the cheapest, fastest way possible? That's the business model of the last 50 years and its what will be used for the next 50. Charity happens because its a write-off. Endowments and sponsorships are PR.
I am a sm. biz and give probably 10X what the big guys in town give (proportion to profit) because this is my community and I see their faces.
@Candyliz2003 I can believe it based on empirical data and wise inferences. Most people start their own businesses out of creativity, innovation, and a desire to be in control of their own fiscal outcomes. It's ridiculous and unfair to assert that everyone who insists on efficiency and cost consciousness is somehow doing it with the will to neglect and exploit the public. I think John Mackey of Whole Foods would put your assumptions to critical shame. no offense.
@Candyliz2003 The logic your enacting to support government regulation on business is based on hyperbole and scare tactic. Millions of companies and private enterprises exist in the U.S that have nothing to do with big oil spills. A lot of them exist because of evil banks that loaned them money. You're saying that because some capitalists are corrupt, then all of them must be regulated. It's contradictory logic like this that leads to things like prohibition.
@Candyliz2003 You're proposing aesthetic principles rather than reasonable ones. Like PETA...though I may agree with them philosophically, it is absurd to force everyone into veganism. They see KFC as murderous capitalism, regardless of the demand that makes the market possible. History is not always pleasant, but human evolution does happen. The capitalist who exploits nature and the poor to steep himself in luxury is just simply not a true depiction of what occurs in reality today.
Watching the greed from Wall Street to WalMart, and the lack of environmental responsibility of mining companies and many manufacturers all over the world I would be hard-put to find one that has any altruism beyond a write-off (I do not include sm. biz as a whole here).
Regulation because SOME cheat and poison or kill is DEFINITELY what is needed. That is precisely why laws are enacted - because there are a few bad guys.
@Candyliz2003 We can't agree, so I think there should be a law that prohibits circular debating, hehe, and one on sarcasm too ;) See, the problem with government regulation is that politicians and lobbyists will use a horrendous yet seldom event, spin it to demonize free-will, then use it as a pseudo-logic to justify any law that they just want, rather than need. The Columbine tragedy is the reason they got away with banning baggy pants..Just remember, the cost of freedom is eternal vigilance.
@AbjectConformity Of course there will be foolish and unnecessary attempts to govern behavior. However, preferring anarchy or NO regulating parameters would be catastrophic. History is replete with examples of avarice and the resultant destruction of life and environment and we still keep hoping that big biz will "be good" because they promise they will. The gulf oil disaster will cause the same suffering the Exxon Valdez did - possibly worse - and still people call to "drill baby drill."
@Candyliz2003 Noticeably due to the demand for petrochemicals. Think of the suffering that would be caused if there were no oil to spill at all... Fortunately with evolution there will exist more demand on safer, and more efficient means of energy. There is already a mass-market for eco-friendly products now, and many companies are "going-green" to save on energy and to be environmentally sound. The only regulation we need is a shift in the demand, which comes with an enlightened society.
@AbjectConformity And have you been "enlightened" since we are finding out that BP in it's haste to get the Deepwater Horizon well in production made HUGE mistakes that directly resulted in this disaster? In other markets regulation has forced methods that prevent these catastrophes but the greedy oil companies would rather cut costs by not having to use them.
BP painting themselves "green" (literally) cannot hide from the huge mess they've created.
@Candyliz2003 I agree with that. Companies, regardless of size, should be accountable for their actions. If cutting corners results in catastrophe, then they should indeed pay for the repair. Management should consider options to make a resource that people already need/want more healthy, efficient, and frugal. In business ethics, the reality of it, is that the companies have to answer to their consumers, not to the government....
@Candyliz2003 On a philosophical level... we've willingly participated in a plethora of activities that have built our culture. We've been subsumed in the tides that are constantly evolving that has shaped this culture.. All of the sudden, the government steps in to demonize this culture and reprimand the people who did nothing more than exist in reality by default. I don't see a problem with hazmat protocol, I'm talking about the government estranging people from their reality by force.
@Candyliz2003 Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, cellphones, tv, fast food, fat, meat, pitbulls, sex, music.. something will offend someone. Anything that people do can be polarized and condemned. Some religious groups deem athletic sports as an invitation to depravity because of the endorphin addiction. The government has assumed a moral authority over the individual's own desire to be autonomous and decide for themselves. With every new regulation that is enacted, another piece of humanity suffers.
@Candyliz2003 I'm not saying everything corporations do should be condoned, nor do I think every person should have unlimited freedom with no accountability. However, mastery, profitability, and autonomy are confirmed psychological motivators in human beings. The majority of government intervention precludes those qualities. Since it's illogical to regulate everything that may offend, then I believe it's logical to not regulate any of it outside of force and fraud.
@Candyliz2003 For example, some people say profit itself is evil. Others say it's "greed" that is evil. So what of the "greedy corporation"? Where do you draw the line between profit and greed? Eventually you'll realize it's all moral relativism. I'm merely opposed to all that demoralizes humanity.. first they ban drugs, people agree.. then tobacco, then food, then pets, then eventually it'll be the sex drive, and so on. Not possible? Think of what the salt-ban would sound like 90 years ago.
@Candyliz2003 Yes, I'm one of those lunatics that would rather people be steeped in their own natural corruption than to behave like angels by force or coercion. Ever read the book , "A clockwork orange"? It's a rather common example, but I think the demonstration of the point between choice and force is still relevant today in politics as it is in economics. My ultimate fear is that humanity will become increasingly complacent with the rejection of their nature because the government said so.
"then I believe it's logical to not regulate any of it outside of force and fraud."This is what I'm talking about. The banks committed fraud - it just needs to be defined that way and there needs to be a law saying if they do it again they pay a price.
BP is guilty of an eco-crime committed out of the drive for profit. Are you saying that by putting restrictions on the way they obtain the oil we are using too much government?
Your argument following the progression to regulation of all vice is an old one and is false. It's as bad as the argument that says smoking pot leads to heroin addiction.
Are you suggesting lawlessness? Anarchy? You really don't believe free market participants will police themselves - that has never worked - that's why there have been revolutions and riots and strikes. When an one takes advantage another someone gets mad and fights back.
@Candyliz2003 Lawlessness is impossible, there will always exist laws that are unavoidable (physics, laws of nature, etc). I suggest rather than a centralized government (which is a big business just like unions) that's backed up by force (police, military) to control the people, instead a free-market be "regulated" by consumers, insurance companies, rival competitors, and stockholders. A system of checks and balances from individuals and groups with real risks of monetary loss.....
@Candyliz2003 the assumption that government is somehow a supreme moral entity that makes sure businesses play fair is simply based on the notion that state corruption is an impossibility. It's not that a free-market based on natural law has failed in the past, it's rather that we don't know the outcome because it has never happened. Government has always done favors for some industry while stomping out the others. Economic science shows us that more autonomy = more efficiency, less poverty.
@Candyliz2003 I apologize for the delay in my reply. I've been busy. First of all, fraud has to be clearly defined for it to make sense in regulating business. It can't be "fraud" just because it's not pleasant. Secondly, BP is guilty of an eco-crime the same way Perdu is guilty of crimes against animal liberation. The fact of the matter is that both remain commodities that are highly demanded. If you boycotted every company for moral reasons, you'd be forced to abandon civilization altogether.
@mroy88 But people watch them more than 3 times any other news outlet. They all can;t be stupid Tune in...learn something. love your country.. understand the arguments before you pick a dide. in other words, think for yourself.
She NEVER seems happy. I mean HER president won the election and she is still griping, name calling, and whining louder than anyone else in the room. I have noticed that even the people who voted for Obama still dont seem very happy, even though they were making out like rivers of gold were now flowing because Obama got in Office.
@p00ps0ck12 They are racists. The FEW non-whites are tools, like the FEW black soldiers who fought for the confederacy. Tea party people are not all racist, but they all WELCOME white supremacist racist rednecks. Tea party people don't ask the RACISTS to take down their RACIST signs, instead they embrace them.
@p00ps0ck12 Mostly racists are rednecks...that could be why. Plus the people that protest for a majority are white old people that live in the country.
Yeah that's why I hear so many black africans using racist terms daily even calling each other nigger in conversation. Wow! But keep telling yourself that. If it helps you sleep at night, make a little song out of it. hehehehe
Because of the idiots with the "Obama as Hitler" posters and the "birthers" and other crazy, off the deep-end types that flock to the tea-party gatherings there are many of us that view these folks the way Ms. Garofalo does. There may have been a few with some cogent arguments re. the deficit and forced health insurance in the beginning but they were quickly engulfed by the Sarah Palin loving, gun-toting uneducated racists we see on the news now.
@p00ps0ck12 Because she is so full of anger at the world. If you watch ANY part she ever plays in any movie , she always plays the part of the short , unattractive , whiner. This is not far from her real life is it?
i would like to smack that bitch she thinks just because she's a celebrity that she's right and everbody else is wrong her and the other liberal celebs think they can tell everybody how to think and feel as if we are'nt capable of thinking and feeling for ourselves .
@nuttybar9 So what is your dispute with her? That she's a celebrity? Bet you don't mind Steven Baldwin or Jon Voight speaking their minds (crazy out of their minds!). Try disputing her facts rather than her status - you sound stupid otherwise.
@LifeRegenRevolution From what I have heard she seems to think that showering with soap is a crime, based on the smells coming from her , people that have met her have told me. I don't know because I do not place movie stars or musicians up above everyone else like many of the sheep do, so I have never gone out of my way to meet any of them. But some people think that if you are a star , you shit cotton candy or something.
@Candyliz2003 Racism? Anti over taxation has NOTHING to do with racism. This is just a name calling ploy to deflect. But keep saying racism and you'll sound like her.
@MondoMedia7 Short attention span, eh? Go back upstairs and reread the thread.
OR
take a look at who shows up at your "teabagger" gatherings with signs using the "N" word and pictures of Obama in white-face or with a bone through his nose. Explain how that is NOT racism.
@Candyliz2003 Ok, let's talk about conspiracies for a minute, since the ship already sailed on the reason idea. Can you provide testable evidence to prove without question that the presumed racists at Tea Parties are NOT just left-wing hippies in disguise that seek to defame the libertarian movement? tahaha, have fun with that one.... Blind generalizations and incredibly asinine assumptions are easier than intelligently opposing strong points of view. Louder works too.
Prove that the teabaggers you defend so vehemently are NOT hippies?!
They're YOUR bag of nuts - you deal with it!
You can't blame everything you don't like on the people who hold a different point of view. Stupid exists on both sides - the racist teabaggers just happen to epitomize the word "stupid".
And please note- I do not mean that ALL teabaggers are racist, but you do seem to have a lot of very vocal racists there.
@Candyliz2003 I'm not taking sides with the tea party advocates in its entirety. I think protesting is sensational and passionate, which ultimately precludes reasonable behavior and logical thinking. I just proposed that question to demonstrate the tautology of conspiracy theories. "Deep thinkers" like Garofalo should be careful of making such transparent and clumsy generalizations because they're too easily refuted, even if some of it appears to be true. Be objective and stick to facts.
@MondoMedia7 I agree... the race card has become the coin that has lost its' embossing. The anti-racist rhetoric that individuals like Garofalo laud is merely an outdated doppelganger of the historic racism they attempt to demoralize. The genealogy of ethical principles and new thought will evolve into more reasoned refutations of such low-brow generalizations. She might as well be on TV saying, "You people are all rednecks!" , oh yeah, she did do that. *shrugs* Whatev.
Garafolo turned out to be right. Teabaggers have turned out to be nothing more than Racist douchebags who complain about big government only when a Democrat is in power.
You are right ! i agree with you ! The Tea Parties are RACIST for sure, but also Fox News is RACIST, and actually all Republicans and independents are RACIST , fact is anyone who does not vote Democrat is a RACIST bigot, thats an undeniable fact.
The American Flag itself is RACIST along with the Constitution, in fact Global Warming is also RACIST and so are computers ! Youtube is a RACIST concept invented by RACISTS !
@zenzodyne You got good points there. They have to follow a party line and the GOP line is : Niggers and spics suck and we need to defeat as many of them as possible. Republicans think black people are niggers and always have. That's why they were against the civil rights movement and are anti-affirmative action.
@DoomHippie I didn't write that the GOP always was racist- just that they are. The Republicans weren't really an anti-slavery party, the free-soil party- one of the parties the formed the Repubs-was. My point was that GOP line is anti-black and hispanic and has been for years now.
@DoomHippie Look at the Reagan years with its anti-civil rights mind set, the failure to confirm Judge Bork who was anti-civil rights, Reagan's castigation of black women as welfare queens.
Also look at other presidential cabinet or government workers. Earl Butz who said the only blacks wanted were pussy, cigarettes and loose shoes during Ford's term and James Watt who joke about having a black, a cripple and a woman on his staff.
@DoomHippie I juts mentioned some concrete examples. Its not like the GOP tried to push Anti-CivilIrhts Bill through congress. Their attitude is anti-civilrights. You are the kind of person who needs to be burnt to a crasip to prove that fire exists.
And then there's Robert Byrd, recently deceased. A Democrat AND a Klansman. Bigotry is everywhere, on all sides of the political spectrum. Democrats also tend to be more hostile to political minorities like myself. They even attack the left-leaning third parties, claiming that if you don't vote Democrat, you're giving votes to the Republicans.
The overall point is, if they do not legislate on their intolerant beliefs, no harm no foul.
@DoomHippie Whether Byrd was a racist is irrelevent. There is no place for black people in the Republican party. Its not just their overwhelming racism but the statistical reality that GOP candidates don't need black votes and don't care about blacks anyway.
Since there is no place in the GOP. Democrats are the natural choice and they can get some economic and political mileage out being in the party.
JG is the typical liberal/left winger; Race card is the only leverage they have while refusing to accept anything else but the facts.

@klamath1016 Janeane Garofalo is a politically correct activist who is outraged by myth and sensationalism rather than being a sharp analyzer of empirical data.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity Will it bring more Enrons, AIGs, lead tainted toys, poison-laced baby formula, BP offshore oilrigs, or how about child sweat-shops?
Like it or not there IS a place for government regulation.
Do you have a job? Have you ever had an employer who would take advantage of you? Have you ever been ripped-off? Do you really think that the market will police itself? Greed is too powerful a drive to let run rampant. Those who say there should be no regulation may have a finger in the pie
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Actually, the market has a knack for policing itself. Especially competing for QC and customer service, which people demand. It's absurd to paint the picture of a greedy capitalist sending children to work in acid mines. Abandoning popular mysticism, there's no real benefit to a profit driven market when people are exploited. Human error in business (tainted products, etc) is not a reason for the government to over-regulate. Reputation matters in business more than anything.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 What was so bad about Enron? Yeah, they falsified data.. it was still one of the best companies to work for with high compensation and great benefits with 20,000 workers. It's a shame, but the reality is that the legislation that follows corporate flimflamming like Enron is worse for the economy than ponzi schemes. The "Sarbox" Act pushed hundreds of foreign investors out of the New York Stock Exchange, and thousands of lost jobs ensued. Feel good about that?
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Not to mention you're neglecting the fact that 23 million registered businesses function day-to-day in the U.S without ever proliferating any type of intentional harm to citizens. Conversely, it is these dreaded capitalists that give millions of people opportunities in life, fund charities, endowments, and sponsorships... even taxes that make the government that regulates them possible in the first place.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity no one is saying do away with businesses (!) just don't let them run without regs. If you look at history the market had its opportunity at freewheeling and we ended up with the Haymarket riots, Pinkertons murdering miners, sweatshops and all the other lovely methods to make a quick buck at the expense of everyone else.
Now it looks like the gulf oil disaster may be due to the companies involved trying to circumvent regulation. Gee, why didn't we let them police themselves?
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 the same "too big to fail" bankers who got our money are fighting regulation of the kind of behavior that caused all of this trouble and yet it was suggested yesterday on NPR (don't recall who said it) that they are going right back to handling derivatives in the same manner that got us into trouble in the first place.
Must be the QC and customer service that's encouraging this behavior because all of us who lost money on wall street are so happy with our brokerages and their banks
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 How can you possibly believe that companies are interested in being anything other than a money-making business that can earn it in the cheapest, fastest way possible? That's the business model of the last 50 years and its what will be used for the next 50. Charity happens because its a write-off. Endowments and sponsorships are PR.
I am a sm. biz and give probably 10X what the big guys in town give (proportion to profit) because this is my community and I see their faces.
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 I can believe it based on empirical data and wise inferences. Most people start their own businesses out of creativity, innovation, and a desire to be in control of their own fiscal outcomes. It's ridiculous and unfair to assert that everyone who insists on efficiency and cost consciousness is somehow doing it with the will to neglect and exploit the public. I think John Mackey of Whole Foods would put your assumptions to critical shame. no offense.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 The logic your enacting to support government regulation on business is based on hyperbole and scare tactic. Millions of companies and private enterprises exist in the U.S that have nothing to do with big oil spills. A lot of them exist because of evil banks that loaned them money. You're saying that because some capitalists are corrupt, then all of them must be regulated. It's contradictory logic like this that leads to things like prohibition.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 You're proposing aesthetic principles rather than reasonable ones. Like PETA...though I may agree with them philosophically, it is absurd to force everyone into veganism. They see KFC as murderous capitalism, regardless of the demand that makes the market possible. History is not always pleasant, but human evolution does happen. The capitalist who exploits nature and the poor to steep himself in luxury is just simply not a true depiction of what occurs in reality today.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity I doubt we will ever come to agreement here.
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 We can't agree, so I think there should be a law that prohibits circular debating, hehe, and one on sarcasm too ;) See, the problem with government regulation is that politicians and lobbyists will use a horrendous yet seldom event, spin it to demonize free-will, then use it as a pseudo-logic to justify any law that they just want, rather than need. The Columbine tragedy is the reason they got away with banning baggy pants..Just remember, the cost of freedom is eternal vigilance.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity Of course there will be foolish and unnecessary attempts to govern behavior. However, preferring anarchy or NO regulating parameters would be catastrophic. History is replete with examples of avarice and the resultant destruction of life and environment and we still keep hoping that big biz will "be good" because they promise they will. The gulf oil disaster will cause the same suffering the Exxon Valdez did - possibly worse - and still people call to "drill baby drill."
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Noticeably due to the demand for petrochemicals. Think of the suffering that would be caused if there were no oil to spill at all... Fortunately with evolution there will exist more demand on safer, and more efficient means of energy. There is already a mass-market for eco-friendly products now, and many companies are "going-green" to save on energy and to be environmentally sound. The only regulation we need is a shift in the demand, which comes with an enlightened society.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity And have you been "enlightened" since we are finding out that BP in it's haste to get the Deepwater Horizon well in production made HUGE mistakes that directly resulted in this disaster? In other markets regulation has forced methods that prevent these catastrophes but the greedy oil companies would rather cut costs by not having to use them.
BP painting themselves "green" (literally) cannot hide from the huge mess they've created.
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 I agree with that. Companies, regardless of size, should be accountable for their actions. If cutting corners results in catastrophe, then they should indeed pay for the repair. Management should consider options to make a resource that people already need/want more healthy, efficient, and frugal. In business ethics, the reality of it, is that the companies have to answer to their consumers, not to the government....
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 On a philosophical level... we've willingly participated in a plethora of activities that have built our culture. We've been subsumed in the tides that are constantly evolving that has shaped this culture.. All of the sudden, the government steps in to demonize this culture and reprimand the people who did nothing more than exist in reality by default. I don't see a problem with hazmat protocol, I'm talking about the government estranging people from their reality by force.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Tobacco, drugs, alcohol, cellphones, tv, fast food, fat, meat, pitbulls, sex, music.. something will offend someone. Anything that people do can be polarized and condemned. Some religious groups deem athletic sports as an invitation to depravity because of the endorphin addiction. The government has assumed a moral authority over the individual's own desire to be autonomous and decide for themselves. With every new regulation that is enacted, another piece of humanity suffers.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 I'm not saying everything corporations do should be condoned, nor do I think every person should have unlimited freedom with no accountability. However, mastery, profitability, and autonomy are confirmed psychological motivators in human beings. The majority of government intervention precludes those qualities. Since it's illogical to regulate everything that may offend, then I believe it's logical to not regulate any of it outside of force and fraud.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 For example, some people say profit itself is evil. Others say it's "greed" that is evil. So what of the "greedy corporation"? Where do you draw the line between profit and greed? Eventually you'll realize it's all moral relativism. I'm merely opposed to all that demoralizes humanity.. first they ban drugs, people agree.. then tobacco, then food, then pets, then eventually it'll be the sex drive, and so on. Not possible? Think of what the salt-ban would sound like 90 years ago.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Yes, I'm one of those lunatics that would rather people be steeped in their own natural corruption than to behave like angels by force or coercion. Ever read the book , "A clockwork orange"? It's a rather common example, but I think the demonstration of the point between choice and force is still relevant today in politics as it is in economics. My ultimate fear is that humanity will become increasingly complacent with the rejection of their nature because the government said so.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity Read Clockwork.
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Lawlessness is impossible, there will always exist laws that are unavoidable (physics, laws of nature, etc). I suggest rather than a centralized government (which is a big business just like unions) that's backed up by force (police, military) to control the people, instead a free-market be "regulated" by consumers, insurance companies, rival competitors, and stockholders. A system of checks and balances from individuals and groups with real risks of monetary loss.....
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 the assumption that government is somehow a supreme moral entity that makes sure businesses play fair is simply based on the notion that state corruption is an impossibility. It's not that a free-market based on natural law has failed in the past, it's rather that we don't know the outcome because it has never happened. Government has always done favors for some industry while stomping out the others. Economic science shows us that more autonomy = more efficiency, less poverty.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 I apologize for the delay in my reply. I've been busy. First of all, fraud has to be clearly defined for it to make sense in regulating business. It can't be "fraud" just because it's not pleasant. Secondly, BP is guilty of an eco-crime the same way Perdu is guilty of crimes against animal liberation. The fact of the matter is that both remain commodities that are highly demanded. If you boycotted every company for moral reasons, you'd be forced to abandon civilization altogether.

@p00ps0ck12 an awful lot of rednecks ARE racist.

Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 Ok, let's talk about conspiracies for a minute, since the ship already sailed on the reason idea. Can you provide testable evidence to prove without question that the presumed racists at Tea Parties are NOT just left-wing hippies in disguise that seek to defame the libertarian movement? tahaha, have fun with that one.... Blind generalizations and incredibly asinine assumptions are easier than intelligently opposing strong points of view. Louder works too.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@AbjectConformity
Talk about the ship of reason having sailed!
Candyliz2003 1 year ago
@Candyliz2003 I'm not taking sides with the tea party advocates in its entirety. I think protesting is sensational and passionate, which ultimately precludes reasonable behavior and logical thinking. I just proposed that question to demonstrate the tautology of conspiracy theories. "Deep thinkers" like Garofalo should be careful of making such transparent and clumsy generalizations because they're too easily refuted, even if some of it appears to be true. Be objective and stick to facts.
AbjectConformity 1 year ago
@MondoMedia7 I agree... the race card has become the coin that has lost its' embossing. The anti-racist rhetoric that individuals like Garofalo laud is merely an outdated doppelganger of the historic racism they attempt to demoralize. The genealogy of ethical principles and new thought will evolve into more reasoned refutations of such low-brow generalizations. She might as well be on TV saying, "You people are all rednecks!" , oh yeah, she did do that. *shrugs* Whatev.

LifeRegenRevolution 1 year ago
@zenzodyne You got good points there. They have to follow a party line and the GOP line is : Niggers and spics suck and we need to defeat as many of them as possible. Republicans think black people are niggers and always have. That's why they were against the civil rights movement and are anti-affirmative action.

DoomHippie 1 year ago
@DoomHippie I didn't write that the GOP always was racist- just that they are. The Republicans weren't really an anti-slavery party, the free-soil party- one of the parties the formed the Repubs-was. My point was that GOP line is anti-black and hispanic and has been for years now.

DoomHippie 1 year ago
@DoomHippie Look at the Reagan years with its anti-civil rights mind set, the failure to confirm Judge Bork who was anti-civil rights, Reagan's castigation of black women as welfare queens.
Also look at other presidential cabinet or government workers. Earl Butz who said the only blacks wanted were pussy, cigarettes and loose shoes during Ford's term and James Watt who joke about having a black, a cripple and a woman on his staff.
MultiSmartass1 1 year ago
@MultiSmartass1
Examples of legislation? I can say anything is anti civil rights, but until I back that up it means nothing.
DoomHippie 1 year ago
@DoomHippie I juts mentioned some concrete examples. Its not like the GOP tried to push Anti-CivilIrhts Bill through congress. Their attitude is anti-civilrights. You are the kind of person who needs to be burnt to a crasip to prove that fire exists.
MultiSmartass1 1 year ago
@MultiSmartass1
DoomHippie 1 year ago
@DoomHippie Whether Byrd was a racist is irrelevent. There is no place for black people in the Republican party. Its not just their overwhelming racism but the statistical reality that GOP candidates don't need black votes and don't care about blacks anyway.
Since there is no place in the GOP. Democrats are the natural choice and they can get some economic and political mileage out being in the party.
