Nothing special really. I use Nyogel lube but you can accomplish the same with clear silicone plumber's grease available at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Lowes or any home store. A small plastic "tin" of it is about $4 and will last for years. For this test I didn't do anything special. I didn't even lube it first.
Applying a good bit of lube to the o-rings will ensure good water resistance an any Jetbeam or similar quality light.
Yes, Coaking from CPF! You answered on my questions about RRT1 :-)!!!
I am JB's dealer for countries of former Yugoslavia.
Hmmm some of RRT lights have rapid response ring out of work ... I an quite dissapointed but they are in warranty and I will bring them back to China!
Yes, I have seen one ring stop working also. The light would not turn to high, only strobe, low and medium. It was warranty though and my second light has been great.
It shut off for a split second at 2.09, pause it and see........

@chillilover1 ...........................and?
Battery possibly lost contact for a split second when it fell, I'm guessing. I still own the light today and it's been flawless.

Google "nyogel" 63,000 hits. You can purchase it on line at many places.
I've never tried it for more than 15-20 minutes but others have submersed them for hours with great results.
