from over 30 matches they have won only few 2or3 with georgians,

the climate will make is difficult for russian clubs to compete in europe as a lot of european clubs play their rugby in the winter. i think it could take a good WC showing to raise interest in the sport.

maybe in 5 years or so they could be brought into the six nations.

as for the rules of rugby--- they are simple, once explained. i guess it would be confusing for russians because even if the ref is miked up he will probably be speaking english.

im not really worried about rugby. it will be close to soccer in popularity, in about 20 years. especially sevens.
