  • mmm, mangos!

  • Your mango looks delicious! and your really cute!

  • that;s one big ass mango

  • OMFG, she ffs the important part while taking fucking forever for the nonsense part.

  • hi its good

  • Thanks! I'm a first timer with mangos but now hopefully I know what I'm doing!

  • ugh! we never have good mangos here (Texas)...theyre always green. sad face.

  • @soonerGLO

Fast ripen by placing in paper bag for a few days. The carcinogens and cool /dark atmosphere speed up the proceed. Works for avocados too. :)

  • You are just adorable! Thank you for showing me. Unfortunately, I just bought a box of 9 mangos and they're all green! They smell great, though! I've been putting them in a smoothie. Your comment about you're not sure how many vitamins and nutrients are in a mango. In an apple, there are over 12,000, so I'm sure there are an absolute TON in a mango.

  • i dont use untencils when I eat mangos [=

  • so r u going to peel the mango or what?

and you have juice all over your hands hehe

  • Thank you Kopkitty you explained it very well I eat mango with KLASS chili powder it's very good it's fruit seasoning thank you for sharing the video.

  • wow i have never tried mango with chili powder! thanks for the tip and for your kind comment! :D

  • thanks for the video. this helped me alot. I been having problems cutting mangos.

  • you are very welcome :)

  • How is that possible? Arizona farm?

I'm from Mexico but I think that the best mangoes are from Ecuador... ¿Arizona? that's weird...

  • Well the Arizona farm is in Brazil, it is just a name, like "Moon Farm" or "SoftBreeze Farm" - not actually from Arizona, USA. Sorry if i couldnt explain it better ;)

  • I love mangoes. I live in the states but I'm from Puerto Rico and I have to say that the types of mango I have had in the states don't compare to the ones in PR. The ones in the states at the grocery store are very hard and bitter. I try to give them time to ripe but they just spoil inside instead. I much rather prefer to pull over in my car, find a mango tree on the road in PR and eat as many as I want! LOL

  • well i guess fruit does vary from region to region, really. i think depends on the soil and how much sun and things like that :) i guess PR has a sweet soil then! ;D

  • thanks kopkitty Finally I did it with your help :)

  • lol im happy to know it! ;D

  • hey where r u from..?i`m from the caribbean..trinidad to be exact.we have alot of different mangoes here..have u ever eaten starch and julie mangoes they are the best...

  • there are SOOO many vitamins in mangos and like almost all the complex B vitamins so they are very very very healthy( i know this because i had to choose a topic that was important to me and i am like totally OBSESSED with mangos so i chose to pick mangos and i got an A on my paper) but yes mangos are extreamly healthy for you

  • Well you may agree with me they didnt even have to have vitamins, as delicious as they are! Still i am very happy to know this information! Thank you! :D

  • thanks. this was helpful.

  • thanks for watching! :D

  • Great Video - thanks

  • Thank you, im happy you enjoyed! :D

  • Still waiting for them to ripen though - still a bit green!

  • it helps to put them in a brown paper bag for a day or so ;)

  • why why why did i watch this...now i'm i want mango and i don't have any....

  • Oh, im so sorry! I wish i could ship a mango to you, my friend! :) it didnt even taste that good ;p

  • lol thanks! :)

  • thanks, i always get caught up on these therms ;)

  • yes, it really was. I went to the store and had NO idea what I was doing! So I figured I'd dig this video up and then I would know.

  • Well, im very happy to hear that! Did it work at all? (giggles)...let me know :)

  • Wow, what is with the hate here? Kopkitty, I came back b/c I wanted a mango, and I remembered this video. So thank you very much for making it!!

  • i know Jess, its sad some people have nothing better to do huh? Dont bother, hon, im happy to see you here! :D im glad this is a good reference for you! ;p

  • lol your sad and you can't talk properly, you sound absolutly foreign. Learn to speak english. If i counted how many times you said uhm or like then i would be moving into the thousands right now. What kind of people review a mango and eat it on their webcam?

  • damn people put everyting on youtube this days.....

  • exacly, hów nothing do you have to do?

  • thanks for watching! :)

  • I want to go eat a mango

  • hahahaha well, it is summer there so i have no doubts you will get a good one to eat! Tell me about it after ok? :)

  • Hey KopKitty!! yay!! i ate my first Mango today and i loved it! i followed your advice and got what i thought was the best mango.I went to my nearest organic fruit market. yum yum..xx Nina xx

  • Yey Nina! I am glad you liked it and im sure it was yummy! I am very happy to know i somehow helped you on this ;D thanks for sharing that with me!

  • wow,ive never eaten a Mango in my life so i might go to the store one day and buy one.haha..x Nina x p.s.. do ango's originate from Brazl?

  • well you should definetly eat one! they are yummy! I am not sure if mangoes are from Brazil - but they are definetly from tropical areas! :)

  • kopkitty: you have just earned a 5 star grade, thanx for the interestin' vid! really liked the way you told the "how to eat a mango, step-by-step" and besides eating a juicy mango, you sure make it look so good, if not being a cook-show host, than why not a spokesperson for Mango growers, ltd.? Think of the dough you'd make all them growers! By the way here in Mexico we eat the mango with salt and chili-pepper powder, try it, that is if you like hot chili peppers!

  • spokesperson for Mango growers! hahahaha very nice idea, i am considering it! Thank you so much for your lovely comment, i am very happy to share this video with you! And i cant believe you eat mangos with salt and pepper, how unusual! I have to try it sometime, definetly! gracias for watching! :)

  • I have peeled and eaten a mango but it's female dog to cut it up because of the fiborous centre.

  • yes the centre has a lot of fibre, but some kinds of mangos have less fibre...look for those and you will see much difference ;) thanks for your comment!

  • thank you

  • you are welcome :)

  • I must admit, I do not like mangos, but you did make it look so good :)

  • hahaha, thanks hon! Im happy you could enjoy this one with me :)

  • hey the way to say that is "a mango that IS ripe" :) In English language anyway.

  • thanks, i got all confused on that ;)

  • Ha ha- i love how you try to explain yourself, it's cute. .

+ your accent sorta adds to it. .. I wanted a mango by the end of that vid. .lol. You should be a cooking show host. .lol

  • yeah, being a cooking show host would be fun, but im affraid how much i would mess up names of ingredients and preparation techniques...that would be so hylarious! thanks for your kind comment...ill try to cook something else soon ;)

  • As I watched your video I remembered I had two ataulfo mangos that were sitting in my kitchen getting too ripe. They had turned a little acidic, but I ate them both.

  • Well, im happy my video made you realize tha were 2 mangoes witing for you in the kitchen...if they get too ripe, you can always make a smoothie out of them, with crushed ice and orange juice :) thanks for watching!

  • Ew, mangos! The fruit that tastes like peaches mixed with liquid soap! I guess this video proves that you can make anything look delicious! The thing with the cubes is extremely cool. «So, you can take a fork and a knife and cut it and eat it - or can just eat it!» What a great line! (Oh, and I do like dried mangoes. Maybe you don't taste the liquid soap so much when it's dry.)

  • liquid soap? well, i guess our tastes differ a bit... this mango is the haden kind, very very sweet. nothing like soap im affraid...but anyways, im happy you liked the video and at least you enjoy mangoes dry, and you liked my line "or just eat it" i found that very practical (giggles) :) thanks for your comment!! :)

  • Mmm, that looks delicious.

You're quite right, mangoes have some healthy properties. They're especially good if eaten with meats or other foods rich in protein, because like papaya, they have helpful enzymes for digesting proteins. And they are rich in a lot of vitamins and minerals.

I knew that, but I didn't know how to tell if a mango is ripe! Thank you. :-)

  • HA! Always rescuing me to know all the good things a mango carries...yey! Im glad i could help you out picking out a mango...for a change i could teach you something ;) Thanks for your comment, Urgelt, i appreciate it! :)

  • You have no idea how much i love mangos. I'm getting hungry for one now.

  • well im glad to know we share the appreciation for mangoes! :) Im sorry i made you hungry for one, but hey, this one was very very good, i couldnt help it ;)

  • I don't get how anyone could not like mangos, they are HANDS DOWN my favorite fruit. I'm willing to bet that fightmyeyes did in fact get a bad mango or something. But you did get it right though, that's pretty much how I eat my mangos lol. Damn it now you made me want a mango! They aren't in season here in the south west US yet =\

  • Hey B, i think you are absolutly correct, she did get a very green mango to eat...and yes, mangos rule and are very very delicious! Well, i guess you will have them soon, since it is already spring there...soon you will have you mango, B! :) thanks for your comment!

  • Menina! Fiquei com água na boca!!! Q legal!

E olha só, vc emagreceu MUITO! Parabéns! Bjss

  • Ah, que bom que você gostou, Daiane!!! Fico muito contente que vc notou que perdi peso - não foi fácil e super obrigada pela força!! Bjs!! :)

  • You are such a sweetheart! I think the problem was that non of the mangoes in my grocery store were anything but green! Then I let them ripen in a paper bag and they got sort-of yellowy green but very mushy. They were too soft to eat by themselves but I made them into smoothies with some bananas and peaches and it was great! Thank you so much for the tips! Supposedly mangoes have a lot of vitamin B12 in them. That is very, very good for you.

  • Well, im happy to help anyways! Im glad you could still use the mangoes to a smoothie...yeah, we should all enjoy the benefits of mango (and other fruits)... If you need any other tip, let me know, this video was so much fun to make! :)

  • I'm afraid you misheard. No fruits or vegetables are a source of B12.

  • Thats more fruit than I eat in a year! ^_^

  • hahahaha, well, you should definetly try to eat more of it, it is good for ya! Plus, i live in a tropical country, so the amount of offer is bigger i guess ;)

  • Do you eat a lot of fruit in Brazil?

  • Well, there is definetly a lot of fruit available all year long, but i tent to eat more in the summer...mangos, caquis, watermelon, melon, papaya, pears, kiwi, plums...yum!

  • Yay for mangos! Very high in fiber and vitamins A and C. Also, not that you needed to, but you look as though you've lost a bunch of weight. I can't see the rest of you but it looks like your face is slimming down.

  • Yey for jojo! thanks for the info on vitamins on Mangos, always great to know!! Yes i am on a diet and i have already lost 20 pounds, so thank you for noticing!!! I guess giving up chocolate for delicious fruits like this mango pays off!! :) Thanks for your comment!

  • Hmmmm, I never had a Mango before, maybe I should try one :) I miss you KopKitty!

  • I dont know why YouTube ate my comment but here is goes...

Hey James, you should definetly try a mango sometime, it is so good! I miss you too, hon! Hope you are doing better! :)

  • oooh, yummy. The best is eating the pit over the kitchen sink. Very messy though.

I actually prefer my mango's not as ripe as the one you ate. (Just a tad firmer.)

Have to buy a mango today...mmm

  • Yey, eating the pit over the sink is something i can totally understand, such a chanllenge! hahahaha Yeah, i like them very riped, but i guess mangos are great anyway!! thanks for your comment! :)

  • As someone who grew up with a mango tree in my backyard, I can relate. I must say that cutting a mango with a knife is something that "adults" do. As a child, you just bite into it.

  • HA! If i bit into it, can you imagine the mess?? Of course that is part of the fun, but i choose to keep it relatively clean this time (giggles) thanks for sharing! :)

  • hey chag. i`m guessing yr. from trinidad...doh forget any way we see a mango tree is big stone like that...lol

  • thanks for a delicious video.

  • yum! you are welcome! ;)

  • have u ever eaten a good mango chow???
