As an independent sustainable Ag major and assistant greenhouse supervisor, I was the first person to start doing this job at Berea. Only I had to pick up the food from food service at 6 am, not 8! And we fed it to the chickens first, then collected it to compost further with organic matter from the gardens and silage from the farm. I'm glad to see it still happening!
