@GASC0122 On the container on the second floor, what did you use for the siding on the house to cover up the grooves on the shipping container? I was thinking sheet metal would work for it, then you could stucco the sheet metal or something. What did you do for it? :)

@GASC0122 I think that the second container used in the second floor is not necessary you could have done the house cheaper by just using pipes for the structure.....same thing with 3rd container in the first floor.. but this design is pretty nice!! nothing to say

@GASC0122 Nice... But i was told you have to stack 40 on top of a 40. A 20 container on top a 20 container.  Did you follow those rules?

Estoy en Panamá y los contenedores de 20 pies se conseguían a 800.00 dolares hace 3 años, ahora los venden en us$2500.00 y los de 40 pies en US$3,500.00,

"Hi John, I tell you to do this type of house was a challenge because it is the first of its kind here in Colombia and did not have the expertise to carry out this project. Anyway as you can see it was and have fixed the flaws committed. Now there are no leaks, everything is Ok.

The house cost about $ U.S. 50,000 and can be sold for U.S. $ 150,000 approx.

@z31man Hola Jhon, te cuento que hacer este tipo de casa fue un reto ya que es la primera de su tipo aca en Colombia y no se tenía la experiencia para llevar a cabo éste proyecto. De todas formas como puede ver se hizo y se han arreglado las fallas cometidas. Ahora no hay fugas, esta todo Ok.

La casa costó aprox $US 50.000 y se puede vender en $US 150.000 aprox.
