  • IT'S SO FUNNY TO SEE A LOT OF FOOLS GIVING IDEAS ON SOMETHING THAT THEY HAVE NOT EVEN INVENTED YET, BEFORE TALKING TAKE SOME TECHNOLOGY CLASSES TO SEE IF YOU CAN EVEN BUILD A GOOD CAR ENGINE.....ford VS TOYOTA, THAT SAYS IT ALL, DON'T LEAVE STUPID COMMENTS IF YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO BUILD ONE YET....SO COME ON PEOPLE.....BUILD YOURS AND LET OTHERS TAKE THE GLORY.....LOVE YOU JAPAN.

  • my first suggestion, get rid of those terrible hospital grey wheels, it ruins the modern look of it.

  • Youtube this: Galileo Mobility Capabilities - That seems like a far better conceptual idea than this thing. The only thing i could think when watching this was, "Are you kidding me? He's going to fall off and smack the back of his skull!"

  • Does the seat even have a back?

  • Terrible concept ! I've been in a chair for 22 years & have tried all sorts of chair's, but this one is just ridiculous :(

  • im sure theres other ways of wheelchairs

  • it says futuristic???? how do they know what the future looks like?????

  • @scootersalltheway future has been here

  • some people get obese due to medication or problems with their metabolism some people too fat to walk eat the same as a skinny person but have metabolism problems that turn every bite of food into fat

  • #FAIL

  • The seating looks so uncomfortable

  • back rest?

  • head lights are a good idea, but I don't like the design.

  • the less we do and the less we move the better? no thanks Japan...(dont mean the wheelchairs, but for every robotic thing else they do...) it's like those robotic toilets...absurd

  • It seems to me like an old electric wheel chair that is less comfortable for the rider, has a massive, possibly aerodynamic, chunk of plastic on the front, headlights, and makes a lot of noise every time it does anything. Maybe it has other features not listed in the video, but if this is it I can't see any use for it.

  • remember we're taling about a WHEELCHAIR, for people with injuries. that looks like someone'll fall off so easy lol. i wanna put a hayabusa motor on it.

  • Futuristic my ass, that thing is a chunky, worthless crap. Galileo is futuristic not this.

  • there gunna be needing more of these lol

  • I think they got the seating position backwards....

  • no back support

  • until it harvests your nervous system for power...

  • Guessing this isn't happening due to the earthquake :P

  • Timmy would be picking up chicks in that.

  • cool

Anyone want to do online Japanese lesson with me?

  • It needs a single light on the front and a beeper.

One beep means "YES" and two beeps means "NO".

  • old ladies right. i work for a disabled man and theres no way he could work that thing. theres no full seat or back so for spinal cord injuries its useless. FAIL

  • that shit is retarded as hell. there is nothing wrong with a normal wheelchair or even a motorized one. worthless

  • i think thats better to a fat guy. maybe a more cozier seat to add too

  • No offense, but sure japanese people can sit on seats like that, but americans ... thats a different story

  • lol, they trying to make a jap scrap look alike. looks REALLY uncomfortable.

  • @xxafrosamuraixx Well, far better than whatever Stinky Honkies try to come up with. Whitey Honky shits only come up with a bunch of crap.

  • all this tech but what about the battery system? We need to focus research on energy production!

  • this will never catch on in america... we have testicles

  • needs some back support.

  • q dise??????????????

  • Freeky, I like it, just like the other Japanese futuristic wheelchair video I watched, WOW so futuristic. Do not know how practical they would be for para's or quad's though a great start!

  • I guess little old ladies would have to start wearing sweat pants instead of skirts, but other than that it's genius!

  • that doesnt look comfortable :/ but thats just me

  • The design of this chair doesn't look very comfortable and since there's no back support it seems like people could just fall out at inclines on ramps and such. Also how would people be able to grasp things when doing everyday tasks like reading, playing on a Nintendo DS, or using a laptop? Who really wants to sit on that all day.

  • Be cripple IN STYLE.

  • ill take an order for the red one please :D

  • It looks... awkward to sit in lol

  • the old chair is better

  • fuck off..

  • ok just the gooks :)

  • The design is interesting. I suppose entering from the back rather than the front is easier for really disabled people? Not sure. Then again, like some others have said there's no back support.

I found the elderly especially funny, they're just sitting their watching it "oh I don't think we can control it". Elderly have a way of telling the truth very plainly.

  • It has no back support

  • One problem. no exercise. do u want disabled peoples to look even more useless than people think they are?

u can sit in a wheelchair for hours, you cant sit in that thing for 10 minutes without the desire to lay back...

i say back to the drawing board

  • Screw this! I'm gonna start building my own wheelchair for when I'm old and unable to walk anymore.

  • Thats dumb! Its nothing new other than posture and looks. What if you get WOOZY and lean back??? OUCH!

  • OK my main concern would be for the people who need the back support! were is that? you might wanna make a support that flips behind you or raises up. other than that it seems fine. well unless your a guy and u wanna pee off the side instead of getting up then thats a no go lol

  • my main concern is that you can't do wheelies in that thing. if i were in a wheelchair, doing wheelies would be one of my primary activities :D plus i would want at least some exercise and pushing the wheels is a pretty good way to do that. why do we need all this shit that does everything for us? we're just gonna continue to get fatter and lazier as time goes on with the way technology is progressing. do we really need motion censor paper towel despensers? FUCK NO!

  • Just seems like it would get in the way of you doing anything on your lap

  • They've had an eletric wheelchair for a long time. Putting a new face on it doesn't make it new

  • Looks uncomfortable.

  • LOL The old people are funny ;D

  • thisis the kind of shit that makes ppl fat!! fucking shop in a wheel chair!!!! (disable persons excused)

  • disabled teens

  • they had whats coming

  • the first 15 seconds already show that this is more advanced than the "smart car"

  • fuck these advertisements!

  • thats just stupid. somebody should create a wheelchair that can transform into a robot and kill people

  • it seems so uncomfortable for the rider

  • No offence, but this was reviewed like a few months to a year ago by top gear

  • all the comments say it looks to small to sit in.... its made for asians DUH!

  • So when can i expect a hover chair?

I wants my old peoples flying fool!!

  • Visually looks nice but functionally doesn't work at all. It's unconfortable and not enough space to sit.

  • I think it has too little space to sit on.

  • its like a glory hole but nobody has to try to grab small japanese penis

  • its a good idea but it looks like you can get a sore back from that always leaning foward

  • These advetisement are really anoying

  • Here's what I see as a down side. You can't do any work in front of you. He have this giant engine that resricks you from signing paper work, accessing doors, etc etc. Not to even mention if you hit into something you have no back with a good chance of falling off. Now I know there are people out there that will say how often could that happen. I've seen it enough times to know it dose.

  • badass

  • Cool design...and too the people who say lazy? it's for people who can't walk..wtf.

although i dislike the fact that people have to lean forward, that'd get uncomfortable after some time in it, and uphill? out of the question.

  • IT IS SO FASTT

  • Does anyone see a Hover-round here?

  • O_O I guess fat people are out of the question.

Either way, looks SUPER uncomfortable to sit on.

  • it looks cool but I do agree it looks uncomfortable.

  • why are ppl sayin shit like "lazy" dude its for elderly and ppl who cant walk

this chair is sick but does it have good body support?

  • cool idea but they should really have a back rest and neck rest. i think it might make it more comfortable, a bit more safe (no falling back) and might accommodates people with not only lower body but back/upper body disabilities

  • Cool, quesiton though, is it comfertable? It looks kinda uncomfertable lol

  • they are sitting on it the wrong wayyyy, ha

  • lazy lazy lazy but cool

  • And I thought Americans were lazy.....

  • Going uphill must be kinda hard, since you cant lean backwards... I doubt that old people would be able to cling to it if it's to steep :/

  • haha wow i didnt know Lamborghini was making wheel chairs. pretty sure thats the front end.

  • Looks very uncomfortable to ride. :/

  • I'd deck that thing out

  • Maybe they should add a back rest that swings in place from the side. You always see old people sleeping in their chairs at homes. It looks like people would fall out of this. Even if you could sleep leaning forward it seems like it would be harder to breathe.

  • the seat should be a little bigger :I

  • Lol the front on the bottom kinda looks like a Lamborghini... xD

  • dont like it.

  • the seat would be bad. older ppl falling off right and left

  • And thus how fat people are born...

  • Nothing pisses me off more than an obese person sitting on an electric wheelchair.

  • @seifer93 the only thing that pisses me off more than that is juggalos in walmart electric wheel chairs.

  • @seifer93

I'm not in a chair for being obese but because my legs and lower spine were destroyed. I still support myself, a spendy chair, a big van, and a special house. I get bilked by exploiters for all medical needs. (Can't do without them.)

Although I look obese, I bet my fat levels are lower than yours. My lymph system is "toast" so I can't process waste fluids. If I stop drinking, I die.

Why do you spend most of your energy hating me? Did I get drunk and mow you down?

  • @cliffwalkinfool I think you misunderstood what I'm saying. I'm talking about people who are in wheelchairs BECAUSE they are obese and can no longer walk around. I'm sorry if I offended you, but your condition was not in my crosshairs. Anyway, have a nice day.

  • @seifer93 Some people don't get obese until after they become disabled.

  • lol its a wheelchair, its for people that cant walk.

  • pimp mobile for the og's :)

  • cant they just make machanic legs! damn!

  • Why can't this person read the description box to find that the Japanese made this? Go dumbass logic...

It prolly doesn't have a back cuz of how hard it would be to get into it. try scooting asswards off a bed into a wheelchair. Yeah, not so easy.

  • for some extra money they'll custom fit a flesh light in there

  • I personally don't like it if I were old, I would wanna lay back while driving the thing...

  • no where to put a try to eat either so...

  • Whoa... That thing is monstrous! :o

  • Yeah this would work so well, of course the person could always lean backwards and fall out but its suppose to work that way right

  • the design looks like it would mush some things..

  • LMAO, I was thinking the exact same thing when the guy got on it. I don't think there are enough products out there to protect our little buddies down there. I mean, look at bicycles.

  • lol i know right

  • I could make a better wheel chair if I took a dump and put wheels on it

  • I'm sure you could.

  • no back support? Yeah...looks uncomfortable.

  • agree it looks uncomfortable and danger

  • why not teh other side around?

  • if i had the cash i would live in japan

  • fail

  • ....no.

  • Why no back support? lol

Last thing they need is a spine injury

  • thats the point n00b lol

way to be slow there buddy lol

  • Yea cause it so easy to get sarcasim on the internet NOOB!

  • lol stop trollin and move on

  • yea seeing as i said nothing offensive in my reply to your first comment yet you comeback calling me noob.... nice logic dumbshit

  • Comment removed

  • that seems uncomfortable

  • I think it needs a back, before reading the comments I thought I'm gonna be the only one who thinks this. Looks like everyone else agrees. It would probably be fairly good if it had a back support.

  • I don't quite feel to be in the position to criticise here.

I am no expert in what elderly people really need in a wheelchair :p

Not having any backsupport looks scary but the fact they're leaning forward a bit might even be a better solution as the pressure on the spinalcord is reduced.

But what do I know? ;D

  • I don't see how this is futuristic.

  • The people are robots.

  • Simpsons did it

Seriously though, old news. Although I might have seen this on dig I believe this wheelchair is everywhere in the news.

  • wall-e

  • its a joke retards

  • Not much of a wheel chair if it doesn't have a back. Yeah you won't fall forward, now you'll just fall backward.

    Major fail.

  • Futuristic or just more expensive?

  • it needs a back. it doesn't look comfortable. and how are old people supposed to afford it?

  • Where's the back support? I can just see someone toppling backwards off the back of it :S

  • Yeah! like a bump or pot hole, they go flying, no1 helps, sue sue sue

  • does not look good.......

  • why doesnt it have a back? That's a major design flaw... and how is a crippled person supposed to get in that?

  • And whats with the lighting? Is it expected to be driven at night in some dark dirtroad with no lighting? I like 2 see grandma rolling trough the streets at 2 a clock in the morning.

  • there solution to solving the aging population problem is to spend on expensive techs

  • That, did not look good. Wheres the comfort?, old ladys in skirts straddleing onto to that thing?, srsly japan. I get some of the ideas that you put into it, but it looks like it was buit for kids only.

  • i know i have horrible back pains and i dread sitting in that for 5 seconds

  • I guess there aren't many obese people in Japan huh?

  • looks like shit its shit it will make peopel fat but a good thing for old people

  • Looks back ass, just without back support Its gonna be so fuking tiring to ride that shit for old ppl....

  • well good news to all wheelchair users, now you won't fall forward

  • thats awesome, im not old but i want one :D

  • Watch Wall-E.

You'll see what we all look like in the future.

    Hurray for laziness... >.>

  • retarded

  • thats kickass

  • Woot first comment

  • Bad ass thats all that is. no im not cracking about about being disabled im talking about how technology has changed so much
