  • Damn, Maggie can SHOOT!!

  • Considering that back in the early 80s there was no convenience of media creation software that exists right now, John Carpenter did an AMAZING job with his movies on a shoe-string budget.

  • id say more the lovechild of ming the merciless and zangief

  • It's Zangief!

  • The 'spiked' baseball bats was used in real life when Paul Broussard was murdered by the Woodlands 11 in 1991.

  • who gives a shit.

  • a dead queer who gives a fuck??

whats that got to do with this movie?

  • I was sorry to see the great Ox Baker killed in this scene. I saw this movie when it came out and saw it again just a week ago on a VHS tape I found in a thrift shop for a buck. It still is a cool as I thought it was almost 30 years later. Own it!

  • This scene was shot in Union Station in St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis doubled for new York in most of the movie.

  • yepper ... if you watch it again you will see a lot of Budweiser signs

  • one of the best fuckin movies ever made

  • I love this scene when Snake kills the big monster guy. Kurt Russell should have done this kind of thing in Death race and killed those bitches at the end.

  • you mean death proof???

you sure he was in death race?

  • I have to confess I was rooting for Stuntman Mike to win in Death Proof. He was the coolest part of Death Proof

  • Eh, he turned out to be a wimp in the end tho!! I was happy the chicks kicked his ass!!

  • i laughed, but i was expecting a better ending. still a great movie though.

  • My uncle was an extra in this scene,he was also the third man who comes out of the sewer in the begining.

  • damn what a set on a Adrienne Barbeau.

  • Absolutely ! Im off to investigate..ahem.

  • Kurt Russell, Isaac Hayes, and Ox Baker....this was what the original action hero was about!

Rambo, Conan, and all the rest can lick the s**t off of Plissken's boots, and Slag's bald head!

  • Snake Plissken Kicks Ass!!!

  • RIP ISAAC HAYES

    age 64

    DUKE OF NEW YORK A#1...

  • Did anyone notice Snake got shot in the right leg with the arrow (even has the bandage around that leg in this scene), but Kurt is limping on his left leg which is meant to be the good one. :P

Snake is awesome. Kurt is awesome for bringing him to us on screen!! =D EFNY forever!

  • I think the spiked club falls out of the ogre's head twice... nothing like a little continuity error. :) Love the movie tho...

  • Snake should use some rations to heal...

  • How Ironic a gladiator style fight in a wrestling ring in Madison fucking square garden.

  • at 5:17 snake looks like "why am I fighting with this prehistoric idiot when I'm about to explode in an hour and half?"

  • This scene was filmed at the train station in St.Louis, Missouri. I was just there recently. It's amazing what it looks like today compare to when they were filming this in 1980. The train station looks really nice niw and, the stained glass is still there.

  • cool
