  • Liberals are garbage. Do nothing but look for handouts and try to put guilt on white people for slavery. Like were the only race that has ever enslaved people. Look at Africa, oh wait you wont cause it proves my point.

  • Wow this entire video is liberally biased...what a shame...

  • Sooooo... when do we all overthrow these "representatives" in order to establish TRUE DEMOCRACY? Direct Democracy: where everyone gets to vote on all the important issues!

If we can bank online, we can establish transparent voting online...cost effective! Free internet to all!

I personally find "secret" ballots an obstacle to a free society...I am willing to put my name in public view for informed votes I make...I stand up for what I vote for...every vote accountable.

  • why is the "Conservative" supporting liberal ideas

  • Where the hell is the party which represents the fiscal conservative / social liberal voter? Which is a rather large chunk of the Canadian public. Apparently we get to chose from one extreme or the other.... And THEN there's the "Liberal Party of Canada", who like political chameleons have long claimed to represent THAT particular demographic, but once elected, they just do their own thing, like all parties tend to do...

  • I agree 100% with this except for the mac part.. mac=conservatives.

also: fuck harper and fuck alberta for electing him.

  • @RedSkiesAwaitUs ... and fuck you for being a moron! Alberta has 13% of the seats in the lower house, we don't elect anybody. Get a clue,... and a calculator!

  • @RedSkiesAwaitUs While the rest of Canada was electing successive Lieberal governments, Albertans voted against the crooks that:

    - lied about eliminating the GST,

    - gutted the CPP, UIC and PSPF,

    - reneged on healthcare and education transfers to the provinces,

    - hid $800B in unfunded infrastructure liabilities,

    - lied about balanced federal budgets. If it wasn't for tax-paying Albertans, this dysfucktional country would have sunk to third-world status 25 years ago. You're welcome,... INGRATE!

  • Before I say this my parents are liberal and Iuself chose to be conservative cause I look at the big picture and liberals, I know you don't like to be honest and admit, but neither do conservatives but I do. All I have to say is liberals don't even know half the bullshit they stand for and are liberals just to be liberal because the government and people around u brainwash and push u to be liberal. You have a mind of your own, you have to do your own thinking, not have others do it for you. If

  • @DHSFUZE123

That is indeed good news. I applaud you for having your own opinions and own political leanings. All too often, people are brainwashed by media, other people, or some other action into believing something because someone tell you to believe it.

  • New Democrats all the Way!

  • This was funny...then the end ruined it.

  • i want pot to be legalized. that's the only thing i care about. i'm fine with discriminating gays, abortion prohibition, fighting everybody that is not in NATO, and shooting immigrants (legal or not). just please. please. legalize pot.

  • Liberals are just as bad as Social Conservatives

  • What are you up to Conservative? Oh nothing, just busy being your boss. But I dont have a job. Oh yeah, right.

  • Im neo-conservative. For those you dont know, its basically just practicality without ideology. Gun registry doesn't work, gay marriage/abortion are closed issues, and weed needs to be legalized. Its just common sense.

  • People that write with caps lock on are fucking dumb.

  • LIBERALS ARE FUCKING RETARDS

  • A vote for the greens or NDP is just a waste, it really is.

  • @sinnerscrusade A waste, how is voting for the official opposition party a waste?

  • i'm curious, does anyone think the liberal party is dominated by men?

  • Liberals ARE NOT on the right. We're slightly left of centre. Get you facts straight.

Btw. This is HILARIOUS and soosososos true XD

  • nobody needs to be part of a stereotypical conception group, "liberal" or "corservative", to make a decision about a subject on society. just to think well, and be well informed (the more important the issue, the more informed you should try to be about it) and opened to criticism and evaluate all options well to make the best decision (I said decision, not opinion) for the system they live in, without influence of these rotulations.

  • Without knowing anything about Canadian politics, I can tell that the "conservative politicians" aren't conservative and the "liberal politicians" aren't liberal. They are just variations on big government types.

  • supprise here the arts supports the liberals and liberals watch it and cheer who cares you got your asses kicked haaha haha goodbye.

  • This is somewhat "blackmailing" conservatism in general and "cutting everyone under one line"; which is wrong. I, personally am proud to be a liberal conservative, in the way that I support Laissez faire and modern western liberal attitudes towards thing such as same-sex marriage, however, frown upon abolishment of aged working institutions and personally I think that is at this current time (when commie utopia is impossible) that it is the best solution.

  • @ubulunikum Here in Canada the parties are named the Conservatives and the Liberals (and the New Democrats)

The Conservative party rose from evangelical reform roots and are as bad as America's republicans in terms of social attitudes. The "Liberal" party is pretty centrist, slightly to the right, or Liberal-Conservative I guess.

  • @ParkaPal - Intresting, though, I still feeel that it is ''blackmail'', but not from the makers of this video, but from the North American conservatives them selves and that they are painting conservative internationals flag with Jesus' blood.

  • @ubulunikum You sound as if your kind of libertarian to me.

  • @Numberoneblind - I might, but in Norway that is conservative, with some anit-tax policies for the middle-class and uppar-class :)

  • @ubulunikum The new Conservative party is incompatible with social liberalism.

  • @balthcat - I suppose that is true since I have no knowlengde of the new conservative party, however, where I live the situation is quite different since the Conservative party is the most social liberal party there is, or if looking for prue liberalism the progress party (right-wing) is the party to look for.

  • @ubulunikum I am extremely dubious. Right-wing politics is incompatible with social liberalis because it is selfish and Darwinian. (Maybe they're classically liberal, and say government has no place making decisions about abortion or gay marriage, but that's as much anti-government as pro-rights.) Social liberalism requires liberalism come with economic and social progress for all, which is not right-wing at all. They may be more conservative than the others, but they can't be "right-wing".

  • @balthcat - As to social liberalism they wish to universally decrase taxes to a flat value of 28% down from the 38%-50% that people are paying today, whilst also increasing goverment expediture on public health care, education and inflastructure, thus bringing incrased development to even the poorest in our society. The reason that the party is viewed as right-wing, however, is due to their immigration and environmental policies as well as their harsh nature.

  • @balthcat - To get a more clear picture of how different my countrys politics are to the US', I wish to state the the alleged right-wing progress party is viewed as equivalent to the democrats in the US.

  • Well at 132am, hmmm. Also most people would be concerned if there public official was pandering a massage parlor that late at night and with an illegal immigrant that has since been deported.

  • Gay

  • Also there idea of doubling CPP. Lets do math shall we. lets assume for a moment that someone was getting 700 per month and that as stats predict 400000 per year are retiring each year in the next five years. next lets double it. 1400 times 400000 times 12 months times just 5 years. We don't have that kind of money pure and simple.

  • NDP. Interesting. They seem to love taxes. Vote if you wish to allow a man caught in a rub and tug to be your leader.

  • @slimbcboy81 Jack's rub and tugs are the least of my concerns, particularly since the claims are unfounded. Harper's digusting violations of our rights are much more important.

  • @BBBWWWVVV dont you feel silly defending a party with a dead man at the helm. now the NDP are just as fucked as the liberals, the only party that can oppose the conservatives now is the one seat that the green party earned. The conservatives will be in power for a long long longgggg time. ..

  • @bananaboi18 Everybody dies, but jerk comments on youtube can last forever.

  • LOL. funny how NDP supporters love the spending aspect of jolly jack but lack the understanding that Canada as a nation cannot afford him or his policies. Surprise Surprise the market starts taking a dive as the notion of the NDP surge takes hold. Also another suprise. The Cap and Trade idea of the NDP party has been tried in the EU and has raised the price of goods significantly and people are suffering because of it. Proven FACT.

  • i like everything the way it is. A minority conservative government :)

  • Some good points but the balanced budget thing? Really?

Trudeau left a giant deficit, Mulroney instituted the GST to pay it off, the Liberals swept into power on the promise to eliminate the GST but instead used it to pay off the debt after gutting everything in the 90's but they did rebalance the budget.

We kept a balanced budget until the market crash, at which point the cons wanted to ride it out but the coalition forced spending.

The Liberals rely on short memories and empty promises.

  • Yes. Lets all forget that pillaging EI and CPP didn't happen to "balance" Liberal budgets in the 90's.

  • NDP all the way baby!

  • Check out my Jack Layton song :)

  • I think people focus too much on talk and not enough on actions. The liberals raise taxes and spend too much on social programs like welfare. Conservatives have lowered taxes and improved or economy. It's hard to see why smart people vote conservative and well, less intelligent people follow media slander. I'd vote liberal if I was on welfare too.

  • @Malitose79 Another 4 years of PC government and you maybe on wefare. Your just another I'm all right Jack Conservative

  • Both parties are evil. PC's are definitely worse now, but comparing the two is like trying to make a murderer look good compared to a serial killer.

  • This video makes me laugh...

The Liberals got us out of deficits by reneging on removing the GST, and by gutting the CPP surplus (hence our current need to discuss pension reform).

I wonder how much the $250 mil from AdScam would have done towards our deficit (with interest, of course).

But don't let the facts get in the way of spin.

This university-educated, ethnic minority Canadian will be voting Conservative.

  • Even though I'm sticking with the NDP, It was also Harper's CONservoFASCISTS who were in opposition when Chretien gave us his parting gift of saying "NO" to the Americans about joining them in Iraq... Thankfully, the CONservoFASCISTS were NOT in power, or else we'd currenlt be in Iraq's mess right now. It was HARPER in opposition saying "we need to go to Iraq" (after all, Harper wanted to make sure we uncovered those imaginary weapons of mass destruction) ...Anything but Harper!

  • anyonebutharper.ca

  • This is rather optimistic out of the hole by 2015!

  • Wasn't it some bright Liberal idea to go into Afghanistan in the first place?

  • @CommunistsDoRule And it was a bright Conservative idea to extend the mission, without a vote. What's your point?

  • @BoredomCorner Canada would not be there to this day if the Liberals did not send them there in the first place. That's my point.

  • @CommunistsDoRule No it was a united nations decision.

  • @aVeryIntelligentDog No, it was a choice by the Liberal government at that time to participate. The UN approved it the Liberal government chose to get involved.

  • @aVeryIntelligentDog Wrong dummy! Afghanistan is a NATO mission. The U.N. passed a resolution condemning the illegal invasion of Afghanistan shortly after it was begun. Not that that matters. The UN has passed more than 60 resolution condemning Israel's war crimes, but done nothing to enforce compliance - contrast that with passing two resolutions against Iraq before invading for the purpose of enforcing compliance. It should really be renamed the Jew.N.!

  • Heh. Conservatives are so the worst.

  • Hey, I'm sticking with the NDP. haha.

  • @Squeaks90 I can't hear you.

  • @sonic2277 Haha. Perhaps you might read me. I can't hear you either through a typed message, no doubt.

  • good shyte negro, down with the conservofascists!

  • that was awesome!
