out of Fall of Reach, First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx, FoR is definitely the best - the story lines become slightly ridiculous by GoO, and there's a couple of wierd bits in FS. FoR definitely fits the moniker 'original and the best.' It's a great starting point of the Halo universe for any Halo fan
