ffx-2 has an open ending so they cant say that spira is destroyed by vegagnun (bad ending), tidus is back alive or anything else. so they would fail at the beginning of the story.

They should have just let it be with FF X, not make a sequel. It had a nice idea about it, I liked the songs in it and all. But I did not like how they changed Yuna, I liked her way better as she was in X, And Riku has become like a stupid blondy, she was just a little random in FF X.
I can respect that people liked the game, so I hope that they also will respect my opinion of not liking this game.
final fantasy X-3, shuyin and lenne's story, play as shuyin. that would be epic, plus, thats one of the only ways they can continue final fantasy X without screwing up the original storyline and confusing millions

why the sad face lol... In all honesty FFX-2 was a BIIIIG mistake. Final Fantasy shouldn't ever have sequels. It kinda ruined FFX for me and the whole idea to FFX-2 wasn't good imo. Still, FF7 remains to be my favourite :)
because it's storyline was good, it's battle system was good, it's characters were good, and it's equip system was good and easy to work with. Although the graphics weren't top notch it was still awesome :).
I have to say FFX wasn't that good, at least they brought in voices which was a good idea for the game, and the graphics got MUCH MUCH better. But the game was too easy once you got 255 strength. You could basically 1 hit anything, and it didn't take long to get max strength either.
I have to agree on FF8 though. It was quite good and a tie between my second favourite with FF9. Although when I played FF8 again when I got much older (I was a kid when I first played it so I didn't understand it too well) I realized Squall was a whiney, anti-social bitch lol :P

There is a reason we all like FFVII and especially Cloud. FFVII has to have the most deeply tragic characters in all FF games. I mean look at Cloud. He had a lonely childhood and was blamed for Tifa's stupidy while trying to help her, he left to become Soldier only not to be cut out. Then it gets worst. Sephiroth (who he looked up to) kills off his whole village including his mother. Then he lose his best friend (Zack), then Aeris. I'm not even saying everything. And bc of this he is what he is
I find a lot of the other Final Fantasy protagonists a lot easier to relate with though. Partly because FFVII didn't really do a good job explaining Cloud's past. Maybe they detailed it more in later games but I really didn't know what to think playing through.
My favorite is FFX, but that may be because it was the first FF that I beat.

FFX-3 was supposed to be shown from Rikku's perspektive,so if they did it,perhaps it would have been some kind of prequel.
I love FFX and FFX-2 and the way characters(mainly Yuna and Rikku
)changed.
I see nothing strange in how Rikku developed.
Yuna might seem that way,but there were sings in FFX.
Pay closer attention to what is she saying to Tidus prior to kiss.
Notice how liberal she is about yousing machina against Sin,etc. .

I wasn't expecting anything.
They should have just let it be with FF X, not make a sequel. It had a nice idea about it, I liked the songs in it and all. But I did not like how they changed Yuna, I liked her way better as she was in X, And Riku has become like a stupid blondy, she was just a little random in FF X.
I can respect that people liked the game, so I hope that they also will respect my opinion of not liking this game.

come on we already seen those places twice not for the third time! at least not with the same graphics.
after all they just copy and paste terain aded two three locations edited some amount added new dialogs and bam new game. I bet that if you compared the date from FFx and X-2 youd get like 80 % match. so it might have just came out on one DVD instead of two

because it's storyline was good, it's battle system was good, it's characters were good, and it's equip system was good and easy to work with. Although the graphics weren't top notch it was still awesome :).
I have to say FFX wasn't that good, at least they brought in voices which was a good idea for the game, and the graphics got MUCH MUCH better. But the game was too easy once you got 255 strength. You could basically 1 hit anything, and it didn't take long to get max strength either.

I have to agree on FF8 though. It was quite good and a tie between my second favourite with FF9. Although when I played FF8 again when I got much older (I was a kid when I first played it so I didn't understand it too well) I realized Squall was a whiney, anti-social bitch lol :P
Sorry to all Squall lovers but the truth has to be said. AND IT'S S-Q-U-A-L-L. NOT "LEON" for all you KH1+2 people. FF came out before KH did. =.=

There is a reason we all like FFVII and especially Cloud. FFVII has to have the most deeply tragic characters in all FF games. I mean look at Cloud. He had a lonely childhood and was blamed for Tifa's stupidy while trying to help her, he left to become Soldier only not to be cut out. Then it gets worst. Sephiroth (who he looked up to) kills off his whole village including his mother. Then he lose his best friend (Zack), then Aeris. I'm not even saying everything. And bc of this he is what he is

I find a lot of the other Final Fantasy protagonists a lot easier to relate with though. Partly because FFVII didn't really do a good job explaining Cloud's past. Maybe they detailed it more in later games but I really didn't know what to think playing through.
My favorite is FFX, but that may be because it was the first FF that I beat.

they wudnt ever make x-3, apart from x-2 sqaure enix have never made a add on to another final fantasy they have all had there own story line the only reason they made x-2 was because they was orignally goin to add it on the end of X but thought it would be more of a cliff hanger to sell them seperate.
