The frame is aluminum (aeronautical grade) in the same way as the rest of the airforce line, red anodized, differences are the new bolt system, the air container (steel tube instead of the aluminum bottle), the regulated valve (so different hammer and spring) and the adjustable stock (apart from the diopter sights). Grip and hamster are in the only plastic parts (apart from the trigger shoe, that was replaced, and the hammer and breech).
