My Spouse is 1 week away from ending a 3 year search/battle to find her daughter that was abducted by the father. Good news is that she finally has her back in her custody. We were able to locate her daughter because the CAS put her under child protection from her father. We found out that the CAS was told by the father that my spouse(the mother) was dead and that he had sole custody. Instead of looking into this they took the child and put her into another abusive home with grand parents.

The councillor CAS took me to asked me the same question again and again in diffrent ways untill he got the answers he wanted wich wasnt hard because I was 12 , after hours of being in a little room with some stranger who is doing his best to confuse you and or make you upset to make you look like an unstable pile of anger or emotions. I don't believe CPS workers are evil people. One problem they have is huge caseloads (many overwhelming). Statement from the CPS worker in Florida is how it should be handled by a CPS worker. The Guardian Ad Litem is appointed by the judge involved to look at both sides, spend time with the child and the parents individually, and hopefully make a fair recommendation to the judge. Removing a child is a serious step, and so is terminating parental rights or limiting these rights.
I worked harder as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem than I did for any paying job, but I felt it was important to be there to represent the child. Some battling parents pull the child in two directions at once. A concerned volunteer Guardian Ad Litem is not emotionally involved, has no axe to grind with either parent, and can meet those involved and hopefully make a good recommendation to the court in behalf of the child.
I can see it now, on judgment day, while I'm standing in line, waiting for my turn for God to hear my case, I will hear screams from these bastards as they get a one way ticket to hell.
As far as these people being above the law, no they ain't. It hard to get the corrupt system to hold them accountable, but the courts have ruled that when government official don't follow the law they are liable and if they knowingly break the law, they can be charged and go to jail
Do you realize that it is much more work to take someone's child than to put services in the home? I can only speak for my state, Floirida, but removing children is a last resort, and family members always have first chance for placement. Read the law. For a child to be removed in Florida, there must be legal sufficency, which means that an attorney must say its within the law.

In the United States your up against the child protection act. It gives the social worker major power. When they use it properly, it allows them to make decisions in the rights of the children for their safety. You have no rights in child protection cases and no voice. Some states have parent advocate programs, but still come into major challenges against the power of Health and Welfare. Only judges and the media police this department. I promise you, change is around the corner.
What is sad and disgusting is a majority of people who lose their kids actually believe that CPS is out to get them. Instead of looking at the situation as a way to better yourselves in order to provide the best possible life for your children you use it as a way to set up a pity party.

Great video,just left out some small details though,don't forget about the money they get from parents doing those test,also they get money for each kid they put in foster care,not to mention when they cheat the parents out of their kid/kids they get money from adoptive parents and the Government. I've seen a lot of destructive BS videos on YT but this one takes the cake. If parents abuse their kids, society has an ethical obligation to remove the kid from an abusive environment. No sane person should object to this. Now if it was just a complaint over how the administration is handled that'd be one thing (though there doesn't seem to be more misbehavior in CPS than would be expected of any organization), but your objection seems to be the concept of protecting kids from their parents.
@mjr256 Yes. If parents abuse their children society has an obligation to intervene. However CPS in it's various incarnations assumes guilt, and you must prove your innocence. This assumption of guilt can be based upon an anonymous phone call with no investigation of the intent of this 'reporter' of 'abuse or neglect'. It can be anyone. A total stranger who sees 30 seconds of your life out of context, or someone with a vendetta. Anyone can start the process, and your guilt is then a given.
Isn't that why we have an entire legal system specifically designed to advocate for the individual's rights in the event that such abuses of power occur?
@mjr256 Yes and no. In CRIMINAL COURT the standard jurisprudence is 'innocent until proven guilty'; in FAMILY COURT there's no such requirement. Hence the gross abuses of power that are so common place in these situations. It's what the parents say vs. what the social worker or judge interprets. The burden of proof is upon the parents to prove their innocence not the social worker to prove guilt. They are often assumed guilty, in a system that takes only a social workers opinion as 'proof'.
Family Court works the same as any other civil court. But if a family took the matter to Family Court, presumably the family would be the plaintiff. Now given that courts traditionally try to keep families together, all the plaintiff would have to prove under a preponderance of evidence, not beyond reasonable doubt as in criminal cases, is that the child is indeed reasonably safe staying w/ the family. That alone would demonstrate CPS officials breached their duty.
@mjr256 If someone accuses a parent or parents for child abuse, neglect, etc. the Family Court needs to investigate within a certain time. This time limit may vary from state to state. The children may be removed for safety reasons while this accusation is being investigated. If the judge deems it necessary, he will request that a Guardian Ad Litem be appointed to report back to him/her.
And? Family Court is designed to keep family's together whenever possible but to protect the child when deemed necessary. So where's the "corruption"?

Family courts are designed to funnel federal funding into local economies by providing jobs to contracted foster care agencies, therapists, judges, lawyers, social workers, etc.An average of 15 different professionals derive their incomes for every 1 child that enters the system. The public, media, and jurors are banned from being present during proceedings.The family court system is nothing BUT corruption, period.

Anything. Passed the drug test. Passed the psych eval. Well gee whiz there was a basket of dirty laundry on the floor (cause they came on laundry day). That lone basket of laundry turns into 'unsanitary' or even 'filthy' on the report, and whoops, got you there now.
we had a social worker just like this they went to the lenghts of putting my sons on the child protection list and went to remove my children from me we moved house and now our new social worker has looked more deeply in to what was the problem and found that my son has learning difficulties and is well looked after i just want the old socia worker out of a job since that is what she has done to me to date i have lost £6,000 in wages and i am still suspended with no hope of going back to work

This is a scary video. Not because of the creepy and horrid sounding voice but because of the reality of it. Almost every word hit home because this is exactly what happened to my brother. An anonymous caller called CPS on him and they showed up, restrained him and his wife and took their daughter. Now over a year later, my brother has lost custody and gotten a divorce over some jerkoffs anonymous call. There was never any abuse, nothing proven, and no reason to suspect otherwise.

If there is nothing wrong, there will be nothing wrong, I have worked with children for a long tme, and I have seen abused children who's parents have been reported and children who's parent's were reported on with nothing wrong. The child who had nothing wrong's case took no longer than a week, but the child who needed it was taken away and his back began to heal.

It isn't like they do it for no reason the courts set up these agencies and get up to 80% of what ever money they can shake the parents down for via social security .Expose the money motive and you have a clearer view of the why it is the way it is now take that to court and see how far you get,it's here to stay so shut up and pay, thats what I do.
Something we also find very entertaining is when you present logical arguements or present evidence or links for these online agent provocateurs and they have no defense but to attack your spelling or grammar.

One more thing...Go to Parenting classes as much as possible (you dont have to give that info to your worker, but do so with your lawyers) if you have the money also, get a psychological test and drug tests(even if you have never done drugs or drank) doctor's letters, councellors letters, etc. Have it before the courts before CAS ask for it all. That way, the courts will see that you are a responsible parent and dont have to have people (CAS) monitoring /telling you what to do.
My advice is dont tell your worker too much info. You dont HAVE to sign release forms. Go to councelling, doctor's, etc without her and present the docs to your lawyers only. That's only IF the worker did not apprehend the child(ren) you dont have to answer the door. They have to provide credible information to the judge to get a WARRANT to apprehend. Even if they show up at your house with an officer just based on ALLEGATIONS, dont answer.NOT HOME?? GET your lawyer!
Someone I knew my whole life (my own mentally unstable mother whom has had an extensive mental and CAS history) has made false allegations about my family and my parenting skills to CAS. They apprehended our daughter at the hospital then returned her 8 hours later stating that we were healthy, stable and no concerns. BUT with my past mental health (my doctor cleared THAT up quickly-no mental health concerns) A year into this, CAS has NOTHING and soon HAS to close case...

Have you every delt with CPS. I called them on a neighbor who beat their child with a mop. They did nothing. The lady who lives next door to the abuser has them coming to her house instead. Why? Because they think her son who speaks perfectly fine needs to see a speech pathologist. Maybe because the abuser was a minority and the other lady is not? BTW look into foster care. Most of these children are better off with their parents than with someone only doing FC for the money.

I don't know how the system works elsewhere, but in Australia a child cannot be removed without evidence, and the case argued before a magistrate, where the parents have legal representation.

A final word of advice - as far as any of my prior "suggestions" go, don't let the CPS FIND OUT you were a party to any of this, or you will be in DEEP DOO DOO! Swear your kids to absolute secrecy! My Spouse is 1 week away from ending a 3 year search/battle to find her daughter that was abducted by the father. Good news is that she finally has her back in her custody. We were able to locate her daughter because the CAS put her under child protection from her father. We found out that the CAS was told by the father that my spouse(the mother) was dead and that he had sole custody. Instead of looking into this they took the child and put her into another abusive home with grand parents.

I don't believe CPS workers are evil people. One problem they have is huge caseloads (many overwhelming). Statement from the CPS worker in Florida is how it should be handled by a CPS worker. The Guardian Ad Litem is appointed by the judge involved to look at both sides, spend time with the child and the parents individually, and hopefully make a fair recommendation to the judge. Removing a child is a serious step, and so is terminating parental rights or limiting these rights.

I worked harder as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem than I did for any paying job, but I felt it was important to be there to represent the child. Some battling parents pull the child in two directions at once. A concerned volunteer Guardian Ad Litem is not emotionally involved, has no axe to grind with either parent, and can meet those involved and hopefully make a good recommendation to the court in behalf of the child.

Do you realize that it is much more work to take someone's child than to put services in the home? Do you think that child protection professionals relish the thought of the drama and making children cry?. I can only speak for my state, Floirida, but removing children is a last resort, and family members always have first chance for placement. Read the law. For a child to be removed in Florida, there must be legal sufficency, which means that an attorney must say its within the law.

In the United States your up against the child protection act. It gives the social worker major power. When they use it properly, it allows them to make decisions in the rights of the children for their safety. You have no rights in child protection cases and no voice. Some states have parent advocate programs, but still come into major challenges against the power of Health and Welfare. Only judges and the media police this department. I've seen a lot of destructive BS videos on YT but this one takes the cake. If parents abuse their kids, society has an ethical obligation to remove the kid from an abusive environment. No sane person should object to this. Now if it was just a complaint over how the administration is handled that'd be one thing (though there doesn't seem to be more misbehavior in CPS than would be expected of any organization), but your objection seems to be the concept of protecting kids from their parents.

@mjr256 Yes. If parents abuse their children society has an obligation to intervene. However CPS in it's various incarnations assumes guilt, and you must prove your innocence. This assumption of guilt can be based upon an anonymous phone call with no investigation of the intent of this 'reporter' of 'abuse or neglect'. It can be anyone. A total stranger who sees 30 seconds of your life out of context, or someone with a vendetta. Anyone can start the process, and your guilt is then a given.

@mjr256 Yes and no. In CRIMINAL COURT the standard jurisprudence is 'innocent until proven guilty'; in FAMILY COURT there's no such requirement. Hence the gross abuses of power that are so common place in these situations. It's what the parents say vs. what the social worker or judge interprets. The burden of proof is upon the parents to prove their innocence not the social worker to prove guilt. They are often assumed guilty, in a system that takes only a social workers opinion as 'proof'.

Family Court works the same as any other civil court. But if a family took the matter to Family Court, presumably the family would be the plaintiff. Now given that courts traditionally try to keep families together, all the plaintiff would have to prove under a preponderance of evidence, not beyond reasonable doubt as in criminal cases, is that the child is indeed reasonably safe staying w/ the family. That alone would demonstrate CPS officials breached their duty.

@mjr256 If someone accuses a parent or parents for child abuse, neglect, etc. the Family Court needs to investigate within a certain time. This time limit may vary from state to state. The children may be removed for safety reasons while this accusation is being investigated. If the judge deems it necessary, he will request that a Guardian Ad Litem be appointed to report back to him/her.

Family courts are designed to funnel federal funding into local economies by providing jobs to contracted foster care agencies, therapists, judges, lawyers, social workers, etc.An average of 15 different professionals derive their incomes for every 1 child that enters the system. The public, media, and jurors are banned from being present during proceedings.The family court system is nothing BUT corruption, period.

This is a scary video. Not because of the creepy and horrid sounding voice but because of the reality of it. Almost every word hit home because this is exactly what happened to my brother. An anonymous caller called CPS on him and they showed up, restrained him and his wife and took their daughter. Now over a year later, my brother has lost custody and gotten a divorce over some jerkoffs anonymous call. There was never any abuse, nothing proven, and no reason to suspect otherwise.

Not the what is going on in the video, but the fact that someone made this video.
If there is nothing wrong, there will be nothing wrong, I have worked with children for a long tme, and I have seen abused children who's parents have been reported and children who's parent's were reported on with nothing wrong. The child who had nothing wrong's case took no longer than a week, but the child who needed it was taken away and his back began to heal.

Well, that's cool... No I've never had that happen to me... as I've said to my friend, people can be bullies, yes, some people even think they are helping and they do more harm... and the case where the child did not need be taken away, he wasn't, his two sisters weren't, and the case was dismissed in less than a week. Power can get to peoples' heads, but you could even make a video about a corrupt cop.

It isn't like they do it for no reason the courts set up these agencies and get up to 80% of what ever money they can shake the parents down for via social security .Expose the money motive and you have a clearer view of the why it is the way it is now take that to court and see how far you get,it's here to stay so shut up and pay, thats what I do.

One more thing...Go to Parenting classes as much as possible (you dont have to give that info to your worker, but do so with your lawyers) if you have the money also, get a psychological test and drug tests(even if you have never done drugs or drank) doctor's letters, councellors letters, etc. Have it before the courts before CAS ask for it all. That way, the courts will see that you are a responsible parent and dont have to have people (CAS) monitoring /telling you what to do.

My advice is dont tell your worker too much info. You dont HAVE to sign release forms. Go to councelling, doctor's, etc without her and present the docs to your lawyers only. That's only IF the worker did not apprehend the child(ren) you dont have to answer the door. They have to provide credible information to the judge to get a WARRANT to apprehend. Even if they show up at your house with an officer just based on ALLEGATIONS, dont answer.NOT HOME?? GET your lawyer!

Someone I knew my whole life (my own mentally unstable mother whom has had an extensive mental and CAS history) has made false allegations about my family and my parenting skills to CAS. They apprehended our daughter at the hospital then returned her 8 hours later stating that we were healthy, stable and no concerns. BUT with my past mental health (my doctor cleared THAT up quickly-no mental health concerns) A year into this, CAS has NOTHING and soon HAS to close case...

Have you every delt with CPS. I called them on a neighbor who beat their child with a mop. They did nothing. The lady who lives next door to the abuser has them coming to her house instead. Why? Because they think her son who speaks perfectly fine needs to see a speech pathologist. Maybe because the abuser was a minority and the other lady is not? BTW look into foster care. Most of these children are better off with their parents than with someone only doing FC for the money.

anyone dealing with the CAS should immeadiatly start video and or audio record your conversations with your caseworker.

I don't know how the system works elsewhere, but in Australia a child cannot be removed without evidence, and the case argued before a magistrate, where the parents have legal representation.
You seem to be against CPS. So what alternative do you offer to CPS? Should it be changed? Reformed? Or just shut down altogether?

Courts work the same way in Canada. Yes we still need a cps but evidence based on lies and hearsay should not be allowed!charges should be based on facts and evidence same as regular trial and not thier gut feelings! perjury should carry stiff penalties. If the police would have been doing thier jobs over the last 40
+ years and charging parents when there was neglect or assaults we wouldnt be here!

Yes, and I believe they deliberately don't protect in the cases where it is needed, because it gives them more publicity, and they always spin things to make it seem that abuse happens because they don't have enough money/social workers. In other words, I think they deliberately let abuse happen. And it has been proved time and again that they take babies and children from good, loving parents. Abolish CPS!

A final word of advice - as far as any of my prior "suggestions" go, don't let the CPS FIND OUT you were a party to any of this, or you will be in DEEP DOO DOO! Swear your kids to absolute secrecy! (the kids may have trouble keeping a secret, so keep that in mind) They do need the child's cooperation, to some extent, to keep them. They will try to bribe them, brainwash them, scare them into submission, etc. You have to help them overcome all that...

Haha, just wanted to add, I got my kids back, after my oldest girl finally got wise, called the COPS on the FOSTER PARENTS, for abuse! They couldn't give the kids back fast enough, once that happened! Also, if the kids RUN AWAY from the foster home enough times, they can't force them to stay. Catch 22 - if you harbor your kids, when they run away, you get arrested, so find a secret "safe house" for them to hide out in.... Kids who REFUSE to be kept, can't be kept. It's the law.

Yes, I've had some dealings with these turkeys, I'd say that's a pretty accurate assessment. But since they have the "law" behind them, you really have no choice but to go along. Some words to the wise - tell them WHATEVER they want to hear, even if you don't agree, do WHATEVER they tell you, even if it's wrong, get all the unsupervised visits you can, so you can coach your kids on how to deal with these people, & encourage the kids to "act out", so the foster home won't want them!

Second, if parents fight to much for their children they deport the kids in concentration camps all over europe - even in sibiria Germans have those camps for kids.
