  • @edo888LT Though, I like hearing the engine noise, and one of the best examples of it is sitting right here, yet is surrounded on both sides by ghetto, low class music. If I could pull out the middle bit, and chop off the music, I'd be forwarding this to everyone interested in what a good tune can do.

  • @greddy0513 I've just made a list of possible tunes. Purely a JB4 and nothing else is a little over $400. Purely a COBB access port which is an outright ECU reflash is in the $900 range. This doesn't include the cost to buy and install the following:

    Larger intercooler

    Revamped turbos

    Larger intake

    Larger downpipe in the exhaust

    This is all with the basics. The sky's the limit with cost, above this. Look into HPF.

  • @greddy0513 Though, $10,000 is the cost for a full HPF stage 1 turbo kit for an E46 M3. Not sure how much it will be for a 335i. This gets the M3 500+ horsepower on 91 octane.

    This does not include getting larger brakes, a stronger clutch, and various stronger drive train parts.

  • @TheFerruccio Wow must be very fast. Stock 335i is already quick, but with all those modifications im sure it can hang with the GTR!

  • @VivaLaNick335 Because 6200-6500 is an optimal shifting point. Revving to readline is pointless. The car accelerates much slower past 6500 rpms.

  • WOW, you might went close to 180 mph. When the needle hits 160, won't go over but your rpm still climbing!

  • dude your engine temp is way too high, you should get an oil cooler or a better one if you already have one as some bimmers don't come with one. At 1300 im running less then 250.

  • It was wind noise. About Vishnu - probably the best available tune. If I had to buy once more, I'd go for Vishnu.

  • I haven't dynoed it yet. My guess is 400+ hp and 500+ Nm :) I'm stage 2 at the moment (stage 1 in the video). Will dyno my car when I remove secondary cats and go stage 3.

  • The answer to your question is the same reason why BMW's are faster in other countries. U.S. law restricts speeds on our vehicles. Chips that are added to BMWs here to make them faster in the U.S. are the same original factory chips from Germany. In short, U.S. Government modified our BMWs slower to meet gas emissions caps and other such. In Germany, the laws are lighter, and they have the Autobon freeway, which the speed limit is close to limitless.

    U.S. Bmws are the slow retarded versions.

  • wrong.....they are not any "slower" they have the same power! There top speed is just limited and it wasnt because the US government told them they had to. It was an agreement between automakers.

  • and for the m3 i dont get it i have lost to only one m3 that my frinds AA supercharged m3 the rest i have always beaten them how can this m3 NA be that fast. BTW my friends m3 is the MLINER type that in and watch his videos i was very close to him when i raced him!!!

  • check your DV valve (blow off valve) these cars have diaphragm, what happens is the divertive valves are tuned to stock ecu so when you chip them you raise the boost so the stock diaphragm cannot handle is it melts or damages, try that and you should not have any problems.

  • my point to you is, how is it that you are much much ffaster than the gti now and that pirelli edition is tune comes with k04 turbo and tunned figures are 28whp to 300whp, so i dont get it. im am not arguing im just trying to fugure out whats wrong here???

  • The Pirelli I raced has ~310hp on a crank, which is ~260-270 to the wheels.

  • watch my video plz and leave a comment. i have a 2007 gti not the perelli edition the regular thing with k03 smaller turbo, i have intake, exhaust, chip ,and intercooler pipe only. i put your video and my video next to eachother and played them side by side from 60mph to 140mph and we both got there at the same time . i have a fat ass passenger taping this video next to me so that tells you right there i have extra passenger.

  • Well, the point of this vid was top speed, not acceleration. I was shifting quite slowly. But something's wrong anyways. My car should be faster. I'll try to find out where the problem is (spark plugs, maybe boost leak, etc.).
