  • Finally! A review with scales and thermometer's instead of just someone's personal feelings. This is the most accurate reveiw done yet. Why not post a PDF of the results of the ten top food types as well and then maybe a master comparison list for all the ten top juicers.

  • @gkornegay Hi, thank you for your comment. The results differ day from day depending on the fruits and vegetables so we do easier way head on head so the results are fair. Plus lately we are busy and do not have much time =( Shooting one video takes one full day when we shoot two juicers. For master video it would need probably more than that. We will keep that in mind and once there is enough time we will make one like that.

  • Fantastic review, well executed and very informative thank you very much!!

  • The Acme 6001 is a centrifugal juicer if not mistaken?

  • I Found the following review the other day on Amazon. com. In light of your stated decision to not make a comparison video anytime in the near future between the Acme 6001 and the Omega 8006 because it would appear from your response that apparently most of your customer base is in Europe, and are unfamiliar with the Acme juicers, I thought it might be worthwhile for those of your subscribers and viewers here in the USA where the Acmes were developed and have always been produced and sold to b

  • I would believe it most useful for your viewers if you were to provide a comparison video between the Omega 8006 and Champion's other decades-long workhorse competitor of the industry, i. e. The Acme 6001.

  • @ironsidefan Hi and thank you for your comment. We will put it on our "To do list" (Champ vs Omega). Acme 6001 is not well known in Europe so we do niot plan to shoot this one in future.

  • can you make nut butters with the omega? You can with the champion, just wondering. Thanks,

  • @GirlWomanDead Hi, no there is no blank screen with Omega VRT so nut butters are not possible.

  • I have a champion, and the orange juice comes out very bitter. I noticed that not to be with the VRT. The champion tears open the fruit, while the VRT presses it out.

I do believe you're getting extra nutrition from the champion, but it's not as tasty.

That said, I'm impressed with the VRT that it does yield highter, is smaller, and definitely easier to operate, probably the best practical juicer. If you're serious about juicing, triturate with the champion, then press out the juice.

  • @protochris Thank you for your comment!

  • Jeez, it's weighT, not weigTH.

  • Oh we don't have a Champion juicer yet. My wife has been trying every combination possible to get the most out of the VRT, but it's useless, sadly. We had great hopes, her food is her medecine, but after MONTHS of desperatly wanting it to work as advertized, we had to conclude: good idea, bad design. The worst is that Omega never acknowledges our communications. If you Google that juicer, you'll find out we're not the only ones noticing these issues. Wish it had worked though!

  • @repentignyrepenpen Aha.. and you have tested it before? And where have you bought yours VRT? The aftersales depends on each distributor and his ability to repair the goods and stock of spare parts so you might not be lucky. Which produce do you need to process/juice?

  • @euJUICERScom Yes tried the Champion and loved its simplicity and effectiveness. Did a 10 days fast using it. The VRT was bought in Canada where we live. Like I said, wish it had worked, or that we've had had better response and support from the company itself. We were actually wanting to purchase the 8006 but he sold us on the ability and performance... they were a sales pitch without substance in our case. We still hope for a refund or something so we can buy a Champion. Will he do it? Hoping

  • @repentignyrepenpen Hard to say if you will be successful with the refund, we normally offer 14days trial to our customers so they are sure they have the right machine. No perfect juicer exists so its always about compromise. You need to find the juicer that is close to your needs - what ingredients you want to process, how much juice, etc.

  • Also, I would think that pouring the Omega juice into a different container may diminish the froth, should do the same with the Champion just to make sure, eh...

  • Get a Champion! There's a GOOD reason they're still around!!!

Bought a VERT for my wife, her diet is her medicine. Froth-free, can juice greens? NOT! Jams often too. Better results with Hamilton Beach paid $40. Salesman's reply: "It sounds like that there is something up with your juicer. The pulp should be dry, some pulp but not the gloopy mess your describing. There is no way your Hamilton beach should be out performing this VRT."

Omega : really bad at replying to complaints (read "never").

  • @repentignyrepenpen Hi and thank you for your comment. We are happy that you like your Champion juicer. We believe its good quality product and that is why its in our range. For VRT you need to learn how to use the machine a bit and maybe that is why you rather prefer Champion. Greens can be done (but some) not alone, its better to stick some carrot once a while to push the greens down.

  • I just received my Champion Juicer. I'm going to use it for awhile, unless I find something better. I also prefer to buy products that are made in the U.S.A, which is one of the reasons I decided to buy a Champion Juicer.

  • @blueBlackpurple Hi, Champion is longlasting durable machine that will serve you for many years! Please note that there is a new wheatgrass attchment that you can use to get better results with leafy greens.

  • What about Biphenol A (BPA) which is in the plastic of the Omega Vert? BPA is estrogenic, meaning it has estrogen properties and has harmful effects, especially for men. (For more, search it on the internet.) I asked the manufacturer of the Omega Vert and the Champion. The Omega plastic has BPA and the Champion does not. The Champion grinding shoot is lined with stainless steel. How does figure into a comparison of the two machines? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

  • @SilentPredatorXY Hi, thank you for your comment. BPA is a not such problem as many would think. If you send us your email we can send you more information on this as its impossible to paste lik here. Here is a part from that website: Human exposure to BPA from food-contact use of polycarbonate plastic is very low and poses no known risk to human health...

  • Odpovědět na toto video... ... The use of polycarbonate plastic for food contact applications has been and continues to be recognized as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Commission's Scientific Committee on Food, the United Kingdom Food Standards Agency, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, and other regulatory authorities worldwide.

  • ive had the champion for 16years, and its still going strong. How bout that! plus you can make smoothies and sorbets... can your juicer do that?

  • @drtom00 Hi and thanks for your comment. You are right with Champion and its longevity. We have many customers having Champion over 10 years and beeing happy with it. Thats why we like this machine. Omega VRT is not capable of doing smoothies or sorbets (no blank screen).

  • Hi, and thank you for your comment. We have never tried sugarcane and we think none of these machines are suitable for sugarcane.

  • Can either of these machines juice sugarcane? Its common in india to sugarcane, but its usually only in stores and hygiene is a big concern. So I was curious if either of these machines can do that.

  • Dean your a douche bag. Champion Juicer is the most durable and easy to clean juicer out on the market.

Your full of sh** with you claims about the omega. I work for a store that sell the Omega juicer and its garbage!!! Alot of returns due to seal leaks and burnouts. The Omega is a buyer beware items trust me!

  • @videoottawa Hi, Thank you for your comment. Yes we have seen some machines leaking but that was very few from all sold machines. We always try to solve these problems with our customers. No machine is perfect and that is why we try to carry all the best machines in our range so customers can choose the one that suits them best. On the other hand we never had a burnout problem with Omegas so maybe you spoke about centrifugal Omegas which we do not offer. Champion is idiotproof machine...

  • @euJUICERScom ...and very durable and this is why we like the machine and offer to our customers. When it comes to Omega Champion cleaning both machines are easy to clean but with VRT you do not need to spend so much time with the knives. On the other hand Champion juicing screen will be clean faster than VRT screen. Jakub

  • @videoottawa Whenever someone writes or says "Trust me", it's safe to exactly do the opposite. Not sure why you took time to throw out insults in your post. Grow up.

  • Hi nice video, I am looking for a durable juicer mainly for carrots? which one would you recommend? Thanks!

  • @ColourfulUniverse Hi, thanks for your comment. Champion is great juicer when it comes to carrots and we can recommend it!

  • excellent video...thank you so much!!!

  • @belbel77 Thank you for the comment, much appreciated!

  • Awesome review. I like how u compared the temperature.

  • @schnor88 Thanks! We appreciate the comments!

  • Would you please do a comparison between the Vert330 and the angel juicer ?

  • @montsyblackmadonna Vertical single auger vs Angel comparison video is on our TO DO list. If you subscribe to our channel you will be informed when new video is released.

  • I just bought a used Champion Juicer, about 10 years old I'd guess. I cannot for the life of me pull the blade off. It's really stained and should be cleaned. I've tried gently prying it off with a screwdriver but no luck. Anybody have any tips?

  • @ethicomm Hi, we had the same problem in past. This problem is caused by not oiling the shaft before juicing. The only way that worked for us was cutting the cutter in half and than again in half... =(

  • @euJUICERScom Hi, thanks for the tip but we finally got the cutter blade off. The grease we used on the shaft had hardened but with a couple of screwdrivers we managed to slowly get the blade off. Cheers!

  • @ethicomm Nice job guys! We also tried screwdrivers but it was imposssible for us to remove it. It seems you were lucky =).

  • I'm a raw vegan. Nice juice coming out from the omega. Hmmm. Yummy

  • this vid is bullshit.....champions dont leak like that... and the carrots where different sizes for each machine....

  • @VERONESEDAN Hi, there definitely was some problem with leaking and therefore Champion factory has very recently added the seal ring to the motor where the main body part is attached.

  • @VERONESEDAN the purpose of the video was obviously to promote the Omega.

  • @whatigot2say Please tell us how you would have made the video differently. The Champion juicer was first introduced to the market in 1955 and has had no changes since then. In these last 55 years there has been some definite improvements in the way juicers are made today. That being said, the Champion surely has its advantages and these are clearly shown and mentioned in the video. I dont think it is necessary to mention them here again.

  • I don't know about Champion but it has been my understanding that gear/auger juicers are masticating juicers with generally low rpm which equals cold juicing and Omega VRT falls into this category not a different one. The main difference is the fat vertical auger as opposed to the skinny horizontal one of other models but it crushes/chews/grinds/masticates like the horizontal. Maybe I am missing something about the principal mechanics. Nice Video! I am hungry!

  • @candlecane Difference between the VRT and the Champion is that the VRT is a "cold masticating juicer" (under 200 rpm) and the champion works at 1400 rpm. The champion also has little knives on its cutter (auger) so it is a different working process with different end results and certain limitations due to the knives.

  • can you do the vs between omega vrt 330 and Norwalk Juicer?

  • @rawtruth2009 We really have this on our to-do-list and hope to get around to it soon. If you subscribe to our channel, you will be informed as soon as we have made the video. Thanks for your posting!

  • @rawtruth2009 Yes,I would like to see that.I would also like to see omega vert 330 vs the angel.

  • Veggies at their natural state will provide you with the most nutrients possible. Once you pick a veggie from the plant it is no longer thriving from the heat it once fed on. In fact when you apply heat to a harvested vegetable you are depleting a great deal of nutrients. The purpose of juicing is to achieve the highest concentrated amount of nutrients. Research juicers on the web, you will find all praise all Omega single augers over Champion, because single augers retain the most nutrients.

  • HELLO!............my veggies in my garden grow in 100+ weather why would 5 deg. kill the good stuff?think about it.the champion is affordable and works.I don't think these guy are going out of there way to lie about it.if you know the champ works then it works.new ideas have to be sold. though, not that they are evil.I am 37 and ex sales man. I am going to buy the champ because i can afford it and it works.

  • @dieselmac Exactly, well said! The best juicer is the juicer that best fits your needs, expectations and budget! The only thing where you will not get the results you are wanting is with leafy greens. Other than that, the champion is great for hard vegetables.

  • MISREPRESENTATION! 1) This video uses different sized carrots (smaller with the OMEGA), 2) the user of the Champion Juicer doesn't use the tamping tool, the user of the OMEGA does 3) they show the Champion leaking all over the place, but no one of the hundred or so users of Champion juicers has ever seen their's leak.

    DON'T TRUST THIS VIDEO.

  • @azjuicerchampion 1. If you look closely, or perhaps even pause the video, you will see that some carrots are cut to get the exact weight. These carrots all came from the same batch. 2. We surely do use the tamper with the Champion. We dont need it with the Omega as it is self feeding. 3. We have been selling Champions since 1992 and I can assure you that this leaking does exist. Do you think we rigged the machine? We sell the champion as it is a good machine for what it can do.

  • @azjuicerchampion - If you have a look at our homepage ( which you can see to the left below the video) you will see that we offer the champion juicer. If we were "rigging" the video, why would we have made the juicing results so close with carrots? Our customers know and trust our reputation as being very open and honest. Thanks for your post.

  • are you going to post videos about recipes? these videos so far are great!

  • @jellofast This is on our "to do" list but we have a couple machine videos which we need to get filmed before we get to that. Actually we were talking about doing some fruit/vegetable recipes and some exotic cocktails as well. If you subscribe, you will be notified when we post new videos! Thanks for your comments!

  • which one would you recommend for a college setting? which one is quieter?

  • Omega juicer is the quiter one.

  • cdit has a point... probably stuck inside the machine. But my question is, how can you have higher liquid and higher pulp, that makes no sense? You should have higher liquid and lower pulp to show it working well. Hmm?

  • @DarkRoseGarden: If you look at the carrots, there is 585g of juice (on the Omega side) and 373g of pulp. Making the weight of the juicer higher than the pulp. As mentioned, some pulp and some juicer remains inside the machine. Perhaps we have misunderstood your question, If so please let us know.

  • Depends on fruits and vegetable. From carrots for example the pulp was almost the same but with soft fruits such as oranges etc. the pulp is wetter with Champion juicer.

  • Hi can you make tahini , sesame butter on the champion juicer, i have made almond butter, but really want to make tahini

  • To be honest we have never tried making this. We would suggest to try it and remember, you can run the paste through a 2nd or even 3rd time until you get the consistency which you are wanting. It would be great if you could let us know how it works out for you.

  • Can you explain how is it possible that from 1000g of carrots you get just 926g or 958g. where the rest of carrots gone??

  • Hello, some of the pulp is still in the machine.

  • @cdit I'm wondering the same thing.

  • @andrewomerknapp and cdit: Some of the pulp of course remains inside the juicer. Some more than others.

  • Thanks for the video. Although a better comparison would be between Omega 8006 vs the Champion.

  • Thanks for your posting. Main reason for this comparison was to show the difference in technologies from "back then" and today. But you are right, a comparison of the 8006 and VRT is a good idea and this is on our to-do-list. Thanks again!
