Lets talk principles. The constitution states that the role of government is to "promote" the general welfare and "secure" the blessings of liberty. Obamacare and liberals have it backwards. They want to secure welfare and reduce liberty, and this is precisely what a Marxist system does, and why it will always fail. It is a subversion of the constitution at the deepest level, but liberals want their "free bread and circuses" without having to work, so Obama appeals to them. He is a true Marxist

Very simple...i read the plan itself, and I read the writings of Obama (he wrote a book you know) Obama's health and science czars. As far as the stupid part, I have a Master's Degree, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Greek Philosophy. I am always happy to cite sources. If you are interested in debate based on principle and fact, instead of mere polemic, let me know. Obama is an "idiot" in the truest sense because he subscirbes to the fallacy of zero sum economics, as do many liberals.

It gets even better...Obama's health plan clearly sets the stage for Eugenics (euphemistically called rationing), and some of his chief Advisors are well documented as supporting Eugenics, which is a form of social engineering in which the govrenment will decide who deserves services based upon their potential or actual contribution to society. Old people are out, as well as kids with cystic fibrosis or cancer. Scary stuff, glad Beck is exposing it. Ezekiel Emmanuel is on the record as such.

Learn to read. Obama's books espouse socialism, and he explicitly states his affinity for Marxism and marxists. Dr. Emmanuel, one of Obama's key health advisors and brother of Rahm, has openly supported eugenics and his writings are everywhere. He modifies it to be not based on race, but on age and value to society. Lastly, Obama's plan specifically indicates rationing, which is the nice way of saying eugenics (page 29 and others).

here is something more specific: last week my 81 year old father saw three specialists within one week of a hospital stay: a liver, kidney, and heart specialist, via his private insurance he maintains as a retired teacher. Under Obama's plan he would have died, and would have been barred from even consulting the specialists. Under the eugenics of Obama, old people will be last in line for specialists. Not to mention that specialists will disappear since they will no longer be paid as much.

FYI, the private system is penalized with substantial taxes and penalties by Obama's plan. Employers who refuse to join Obamacare will pay penalties, essentially forcing them to drop private coverage in favor of Obamacare. Its in black and white in the plan. Also in the plan is the government takeover of the medical supply and equipment industry, and the unionization of all things medical. Government money for education and training will go only to unionized entities. This is Marxism unleashed

Also in the plan is a very clear cap on costs per year per person; this is where the eugenics comes into play. It is much, much smaller than any private insurance company today has. My plan is capped at $2,000,000. The Obamacare plan is capped at between 5k and 10k. It is very clear in the plan that the big savings will come from end of life "counseling" for the severaly ill and elderly, with a view to minimizing what is spent on them. Read the plan yourself, and then tell me its good.
