I wonder if he uses manual mode or aperture priority mode? I don't mind using manual, but it's pain in ass almost every shot you have to change the shutterspeed.

it's a good advice. Location assessment is a significant issues. Always remember, you can create a new idea with the help of looking postcards when you went to a new place!

It's said that a good photo is less due to good equipment, and more-so due to the person handling the equipment. These videos really help to accentuate that point. While I'm aiming for the D5000 as a beginner DSLR, they do a good job on marketing the D40. ^_^

it's more of a commerical , they should have one for poor people that can't travel but what to shoot around there town.

i'll agree with you that this particular movie feels like a big commercial, but they have other videos where you can actually learn from.
