I know I'm going to get the shit ripped through me for posting this, but it has to be said...

I was 16 when this happened, been a Port Adelaide boy all my life, that day was the single worst day of my life. From about half time onwards I sat in silence watching the game, I just sat there and watched my team get dismantled. I watched the entire presentation of the medals, then when the telecast finish, I turned off the television and cried in my seat.

My club has never been the same since.

@JazzMaverick16 Chin up mate. This was a very average Port side and they did a fantastic job getting to the Grand Final. Port were always going t o be on the decline after 2004 anyway, just got to play the waiting game now.

As a Geelong supporter I was actually disappointed by this Grand Final. I knew we had won in the first quarter, by the end of the game I was in disbelief.

2009 was far more satisfying.

The one that finally gave the real supporter, who had been there through the hard times and the oh-so-nearly times, what they wanted more than anything. I loved the game, but like I said, I knew we had won so early it didnt sink in like it should have.
