Here's the thing: William Cooper believed in William Cooper's message. David Icke believes in David Icke's message. It is very sad whenever people like this attack one another, because in truth they are both being very honest with themselves. This is in stark contrast to people such as Alex Jones, who isn't being honest with themselves. Alex Jones DOESN'T believe in Alex Jones's message, because he knows it to be a lie. For that reason, in another universe, Cooper and Icke are united.

i greatly repect both these men and the work they have done. alot of this stuff about David Icke is not true. pay attention to the last quote by Bill Cooper, "read about everything, listen to everyone". alot of the stuff both these men say you cannot exactly "proove", even with your own research, but you should be able to feel the "truth". For objectivity I must clarify that David Icke is not promoting 2012 Doomsday theories nor New Age. He clearly expressed his mind about both these points, in his interviews, books and speeches. The "son of God" statement isn't to be taken literally, again, he explained it extensively.

Like Cooper says: do your research, believe nobody, search the truth, even about the people you don't agree about.

They are very new age although he claims to be an enemy of the "NWO". The New Age is one side of the NWOs two sided coin. This side says humanity is leaving the "age of pisces" and heading in to Aquarius where all will be freed, enlightened and unified. This comes directly from the illuminati and freemasonry..
