Thanks. We're not too worried about what a handful of YouTube users think anyways. We do pretty well for ourselves in terms of getting music out to kids and playing shows, and that's really all that matters to us.
i dont like this at ALLLL... sounds like you just took a couple of random chords and fucking slapped your guitar while yelling.. cause your scream is not really understandable...
Well, I can tab out the song for you, both of them are very structured. We have studio versions of these, it's a lot more clear. As for not being understandable, that's pretty common for bands of this type.
A lot of people say we play thrashy powerviolence type stuff. Check out Capitalist Casualties and Fuck On The Beach, they play the kind of music we're into. As for tabs for the first song, you can just google "Misfits Earth A.D." I'll have to write out the second one.
you suck, you live like white trash, and you covered a fits song then bitched about henry rollins, in 1980-1982 henry got up on stage with the fits almost every time they were in the same town together and is the closest thing to a second lead singer of the fits they ever had. suck it die white kid.
Secondly, I'm well aware of the fact that Henry and Misfits were close. The song isn't actually bitching about Rollins, the song has nothing to do with him.
But to explain the title...I've always been annoyed by Rollins Band and Henry Rollins in general, I didn't like his standup or when I saw him in movies like Jackass. But as a kid I didn't know who he was. Then when I first bought a Black Flag and realized that it was the same guy, I was shocked.
The title is referring to people that choose to stay in underground hardcore bands their whole lives, and really commit to keeping it purely seperate from the mainstream. That said, I'm still a fan of a lot of his work, but the song title is more about a concept than anything else. I'm trying to be civil and intelligent here, but I'm sure you'll just respond with a "fuck you faggot" or something.
And if you're curious about the song itself, it's about people who get into hardcore as a high school trend, and drop out after a few years. So the title and the lyrics are somewhat related, but not completely, because we write songs, and then pick our titles from a long list that we've been compiling for the past few years. Usually the titles and lyrics are loosely related, but they are always two seperate things at the same time.
there's nothing wrong with henry rollins

Well, the drummer and I have been in punk bands together for around 5 or 6 years now. But we've been doing Death List Five since summer of 2005.

First off, you have no idea how I live.
