Great little documentary, thank you for putting this together for us. I stumbled upon the work of physicist Dr. Thomas Warren Campbell a couple years ago and it opened my eyes so much as to the illusory nature of reality. He helped answer so many questions that I had, I feel indebted to him for his hard work in getting this information out to the public. Also I just want to briefly mention that the first person who ever opened my mind was Terence McKenna, he piqued the curiosity of so many.
Dean Radin comment about psi being popular is true and it has been for a long, long time. But there was a concerted effort, as in the formation of News Science Service in 1930s, that explicity prohibited news or information about things like mental telepathy in the news media. Yet, a the same time Dr. Rhine at Duke University had begun his scientific studies on in psi. Do you suppose there's also an effort in some fashion to make the common person to appear less capable than he/she really is?
@kensaundm332:40 is 'Thomas Newman, 800% slower' 4:10 is GIAA "lost Kindom" and the other I think is "parralel highway" by the same band. The last two I've just used the intros to the songs but as full songs they are pretty awesome :) Enjoy!
Can I just ask, is it possible that people are able to predict the future in this experiment due to someone else shaping that future and thus controlling what your mind is going to think??
Re: 5:50, "either the future is fixed or the past is malleable, or some combination of the two." I propose a fourth possibility: That the subjects' autonomic nervous systems responded, not in advance of fearsome images, but to the dread that those images may appear. I am more persuaded to believe in intention-as-creation than in a deterministic future. The "future" is the product of moment-to-moment intention, like a road we pave as we go.
@Vittoria10538 What you're saying, basically, is the subjects were reacting to the possibility that fearsome images may appear. I think you're wrong because the possibility of a fearsome image popping up would've been present during the entire experiment, so why would they only react to the dread of that possibility at certain times?
@Vittoria10538 "either the future is fixed or the past is malleable, or some combination of the two." Though that's a pretty crazy thought, especially the combination of a fixed future and a malleable past!!
Good video, but if consciousness can influence random number generators, has the Global Consciousness Project ever considered that other species (whales, dolphins, apes, ...) might influence their data too? I don't see why this effect should be exclusively generated by the human mind.
@michael1166 Good observation. The GCP is human-centric in its approach. The human species is unique only because it is in a technological information age. It allows us to focus on the same events at the same time -TV, internet, radio, phones. The GCP does not doubt that animals receive a measure of consciousness or that it probably influences their data. However the GCP is limited to identifying human events for obvious reasons. :)
@michael1166 This is a very good observation I find it odd that, as far as I am aware, no research has been carried out regarding psi/'animal' consciousness. Hours BEFORE the Asian tsunami hit, devastating parts of Indonesia/Thailand/Sri Lanka. We saw many birds filling our trees and elephants were observed leaving the shoreline areas. Another case of arrogantly asserting 'and 'Man' shall have dominion'?
Evolution is an intuitive psi flow. We are reality experiencing itself, as we refine our senses and lower our entropy. I can't wait until we have the reverse engineering of the human brain. That is when we begin to integrate our minds and untangle the associate amalgamations of destructive sense memory perception at an exponential pace. Entheogens, meditation, psychotherapy etc, are too slow and time consuming if you can indeed master them. Techno assisted enlightenment is coming soon.

Do you know of any studies done on the pituitary gland and telepathy or focused group intention? Looking forward to part 2 :)

@michael1166 Look up Rupert Sheldrake's Google Tech Talk (on YouTube) and his book, Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home. \
