@jpablosnm I think you meant Kanile'a*. Basically you just listed 3 budget ukulele brands and a Ferrari of ukuleles. Mahalo is crap, almost considered "toy" ukuleles. Kala and Lanikai are on same level, Kala has a bit better edge in sound, while Lanikai has better aesthetics (for both I'm referring to their sub-$150 models.) As for the Kanile'a, their ukes are not for the beginners, as their cheapest models go for ~$500.

@thegutierrez64 the closest I can come to chunking in an upstroke on uke or guitar is to pluck all the strings upward then slap all strings with your fingers to mute them. It's slightly more muted than chunking but serves the purpose if that's the sound you're going for.
Can i ask, how do you repeat after the second chuck? You go chuck up down then down again? What i am kinda asking is how do you repeat that over and over. Do you strum down twice?
