Hi dewssTV, I was one of the early Singapore Girls in an advertisement made in late1971 for London/UK cinema in 1972. This was just before MSA became Singapore Airlines. My advert was filmed in Sydney but made to look like it was in London (with red double Decker bus). I have been searching for the advert. Do you have any links I could follow in my search for the advert. The advert opens up on my left profile. Would appreciate any info re the ad. Thanx.

Actually the byline "A great way to fly" came from the old Malaysia Singapore Alrilines IMSA). I remember a MSA TV advert shown on TV around 69 or '70 with a song based on the same by line but much more punchier song. Also the images were very short and sharp and very similar to the intro to old Hawaii 5-0 TV program

A Farina Cambridge, to be precise. Peugeot and Lancia built similar looking cars, again, designed Pininfarina. It looks somewhat like an American 1957 Ford, from some angles.

Nice old memories of Singapore. The yellow-top taxi was an Austin Cambridge. I remember had a ride in such model when I was a kid. :)

haha, love the part where she was ambushed by five dudes.
Its powerful the ad, setting her the taxi-commuting singapore girl with the rickshaw-transported normal girl.
