The engine sound is very different, Renault used a 111 V degree angle to lower the gravity point but lost torgue. Mercedes engine sounds almost the same as in 2000 but the they were using seamless shifting now, so the gear changes sound very different then before. Ferrari always sounds the best :)

no pit stops for fuel is what they are banning.. which means the drivers that can manage their tires better will get an advantage.. how it should really be... none of this low fuel lying anymore just all out racing. I love it. The true strength of a driver is being able to manage his tires.

The true strength of a driver is getting to the end of the race first. I remember schuey staying out when everyone else went in for wets. He was on slicks and drove around them. A good driver will handle bad tyres.
