dachshunds are the best! i've had two dachshunds when growing up and now my sister and her husband have a little dachshund. Weenie is so cute! every time i buy one of those bobo toys for my sister's dog he has it destroyed in minutes haha. love the video!
My mother never cared much for dogs.....that is until she met a dachshund. She got a mini, then had one for the rest of her life. She was on her third one before she passed away. They were all great dogs! My mother made little jackets for them. She kept them with her in her lap, or on her bed at all times! Your dog reminds me of hers.
She's cute! I have a black and tan mini Dachshund named Lucky. I love Dachshunds most of all. They are so sweet and I love the special way they walk and run.
It's funny how, given a choice, a dachshund would rather have a toy or bone that is physically much larger than him or herself. Something about their tough and stubborn but loving nature makes them more appealing to me than other breeds. I had a male years back that was the "Arnold Schwarzenegger" of dachshunds. He literally looked like he was on steroids. In his mind he thought he was a Mastiff or something. All the dogs in the neighborhood feared him.

I used to have a dachshund whose first name was Weenie (Winston) But we renamed him Leo. He looked exactly like her. She's such a cutie! :]
