To make very nice hot water, do the same you did for cold but set the tank outside and paint it black. The sun will warm your water. You will be surprised at how hot it gets. If you use two tanks you can actually divide the fresh, unheated water, from the water that has been sitting just by a simple manual cutoff hose. Just an idea!!
