Jim Mccarty was a really good drummer in that he played to and with the musicians, and his drums "sound" good and they get louder and softer as the music warrents. My favorite drummers always play with the band, like Ringo and Russ Kunkel and Fran Christina and Terry Williams and Phil Collins and the guy from Squeeze and...
now if you can find a copy , this same recording is available as a legit 45 but ... Jane Relf vocals are not on the track! Thats Jon Mark on guitar later of Mark-Almond and John Mayall fame. Jon was/is personal friends with Jimmy Page. He now lives in New Zealand and has put out some fine solo album in the new age style of music
Hey Jim&Co, I also love the picture of Keith & Jim it's a great shot of them together! Do you think it would be possible to have it ? I iknow that Kathy already asked you....but I don't have that many pictures of them...
Of course, I have!... This is why it's on this vid!... ;-)
I'll send it to you!... As far as I'm aware, from all the "duo" pics I have from Jim & Keith, this is the best one I have, where the two of them are at there dishy most! ;-D
Eveytime I hear this song I like it more and more...I love the picture as well... Jim McCarty & Co brilliant as usual... Keep posting all your little gems... Love it.... Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Keith would be proud....
Unbelievable - the history is a bit complex. I had heard some of this before from my neighbor who likes both Renaissance and the earlier bands. I also researched much on my own but don't ever recall hearing about 'Together'....no wonder, if it was but a few months.
I like this 'pastoral song' very much. I never heard it before either or knew there was yet another group called 'Together'...how long were they together? Nice photo, too.
Thank you for this new track, I really enjoy it! I had never heard it before. Do you think it's possible to put up I'd love to love you till tomorrow? I heard it on the Renaissance Live and Direct and it's one of my favourites!
