The overall build is beautiful. I have to say though you went extremely overkill with the battle damage. You could've added weathering with hints of black fading into the recessions of the helm. Visor shouldn't have been cracked.

I would say for the plus, great proportions and symmetry. However, I find it somewhat unrealistic that a 'battle worn/damaged' helmet wouldn't have a nice shiny gleen of sealer, that it should be matte and dull. (Although I understand your sentiment in wanting to preserve the work you put into the thing)

@Ronnock Sure it would take more resources, ya know, to carve out the cracks and to glue the broken glass on the visor, but to make a clean and fresh looking helmet takes a lot of skill and time. Sanding upon sanding upon sanding and making sure everything is even and the paint is applied evenly, maybe adding a gloss. Theres a lot to it. This helmet is a random mess.

I do agree somewhat with dudyo13 as Samus' Power Suit has enegy Shields which mean the suit takes no physical damage. But that aside, who cares really because what you have there is a fantastic peice. It looks great and the battle damaged effect works very well. I especially like the visor.

I just wanted to mention is Samus's helmet would actually NEVER show battle damage. The suit automatically heals itself, so no matter what situation she is in (even if she has 1 energy point left) the suit would never wear and tear, scratch, burn, etc. It doesn't have "paint" on it. ;) Basically it's not a suit that was engineered and by humans.  So it doesn't have weaknesses.
