Then if you after looked up the injury he had (Grade II MCL Sprain) you would have realized it makes perfect sense (running laterally doesn't require an MCL). He was hurt on the second play of the second quarter and tried to tuff it out. After the half his knee starting swelling I'm sure and that's why you saw the limp.

As a Broncos fan, I am happy with the trade. I personally think we got the better end of the deal. We got an excellent running back from the draft, best o-line, and some of the best receivers. Now if the Broncos can improve the defense, they are going to go really far this upcoming year. I just wish they would have picked up Rey Maualuga instead of Robert Ayers at number 18.

Offense was never a bronco problem under Shanahan. #2 in the NFL i think. But the defense needs to step up for you guys in a hurry because Dawkins has maybe 2 years left in him maybe and Bailey is not getting any younger. Plus your switching to 3-4 from a 4-3 so that will take some time to iron out. Kyle maybe makes the pro bowl if he stays healthy and does it the McDaniel way...short screens and 5-10 yrd passes.

Don't get me wrong, I like Kyle, but the only reason he has such a good record is because in his rookie year the Bears defense was playing some of its best defense ever. Give Cutler a defense that doesn't allow 30+ points every damn game and he will have a great record too. Look at how many times the Bears defense saved that dumbshit Rex Grossman. Orton can manage a game, but he can't put up 300+ yards consistently or lead an offense to score 25+ points consistently.

well i agree with you on the most part but im a denver fan and watching cutler he can rocket it in for the touchdown but i think hes to full of himself and looking at ur offense at the moment its gonna be a while before the bears go anywhere. i cant say denver will be the best team but we have to work with what we have you know what i mean.

As a Broncos fan, I am happy with the trade. I personally think we got the better end of the deal. We got an excellent running back from the draft, best o-line, and some of the best receivers. Now if the Broncos can improve the defense, they are going to go really far this upcoming year. I just wish they would have picked up Rey Maualuga instead of Robert Ayers at number 18.

Offense was never a bronco problem under Shanahan. #2 in the NFL i think. But the defense needs to step up for you guys in a hurry because Dawkins has maybe 2 years left in him maybe and Bailey is not getting any younger. Plus your switching to 3-4 from a 4-3 so that will take some time to iron out. Kyle maybe makes the pro bowl if he stays healthy and does it the McDaniel way...short screens and 5-10 yrd passes.

We all I have some differnt views on the whole Trade think of it like this
Chicago are not the smartest when it comes to the 1st round, and since we are not even in the 1st half of the draft anyway why bother trading up or picking a cruddy player noone talked about when you have the option to pick up Jay cutler.
The Broncos on the other hand dont have to worry about Kyle Orton if he screws up they could draft Sanchez and a DB this year &/Or trade their 09 pick for a closer pick

@fcvik why is that?? while Kyle Orton proved to be better than i thought he would be the team still sucks. we have no running game and the D is still a bit weak. Mcdaniels traded Hillis for Brady Quinn and wasted a first round pick on Alphonso Smith who is now with the Lions. While i agree that the offense (the passing) is showing signs of improvement we are nowhere near what we were when Shanahan left. Ohh and more thing, whats the deal with Mcdaniels trying to sign every Patriots reject?

Don't get me wrong, I like Kyle, but the only reason he has such a good record is because in his rookie year the Bears defense was playing some of its best defense ever. Give Cutler a defense that doesn't allow 30+ points every damn game and he will have a great record too. Look at how many times the Bears defense saved that dumbshit Rex Grossman. Orton can manage a game, but he can't put up 300+ yards consistently or lead an offense to score 25+ points consistently.

You'll see how he does without the defense forcing the most turnovers in the league and no special teams to give him good field position. Oh, and without an RB. I know the Broncos O line is good, but don't expect the DBs and linebackers to play back on him like they did Cutler.

Their pass protection last year was decent. It was run blocking that was a problem. Plus, the O line has improved this offseason. It's not even the same o line. think again. Cutler should be well protected. Get another WR and the offense is set. torry Holt anyone?

Cutler grew up as a pro around Marshall and Scheffler. There were A LOT of times that Marshall bailed Cutler out.
He doesn't have that in Chicago, he won't have that in Chicago. What Marshall and Cutler had was special, and it will never be duplicated.
Not saying Cutler is going to suck, or even struggle. I wish him the best, I think he'll do very well, but don't expect him to throw for 4,500 yards, and 25 TDs. He doesn't have the weapons, the line, and he won't throw the ball 616 times.

Kyle Orton is a great quarterback. Bears fans shouldnt have expected too much from him last season because he was hooked up with the worst wide reciever corps in the NATION! not even 1 go to guy and if your thinkin hester, he's just a reciever able to use his SPEED to get away from defenders and go deep.
