  • those babes can abduct me any time

  • only hot chocolate could make a song about aliens sound so good :))))))

  • A very underestemated group. I love there music.

  • at 1:29 I've always felt it would work so much better with the word 'anniversary' rather than illusion. But that wouldn't make any sense.

  • I wonder what inspired this song. Did one of the band members have an experience?

  • @yowzephyr I have vague memories of reading somewhere that the band saw a ufo at night.

  • hot chocolate - a talented and underated band - of mixed race band 3 balck/2white members - they produced some decent soul music

  • yes class i reminds me whn i shagged this lass in the bus shelter years ago

  • @frogoole Ha ha, awesome !, Lol

  • Classic Pop hit, the success of which in reality trancends what the lyrics of the song are actually about ; the general musical structure and production formula, including the chorus of 'no doubt about it' (which could be applied to many situations) being a crucial hook, is essential

  • @TheKenfig OK!! Thanks

  • “Are we an exceptionally unlikely accident or is the universe brimming over with intelligence? It's a vital question for understanding ourselves and our history,”

    ~Carl Sagan

  • It's nice that the female aliens later did those videos with Robert Palmer.

  • they were singing about a ufo not a classic car

  • oh my god what a song, totally fogotten, what a classic

  • Captain Benjamin Sisko!

  • A classic about alien visitation

  • great song

  • Badass bass player.

  • OLD SCHOOL SWAAAGG <3 <3 Mi Luv It AAHAH <3

  • That mustache is hilarious!

  • my brandy bridge years....

  • My very first try at Karaoke was in 1980, to this song. I was 14, and it was a disaster...the song is still super !

  • My fave by them :)

  • ...Spoke to the Gentleman at the reception in the Gulf Hotel in Doha, Qatar, in the 80s! What a great Guy!!! :)

  • saw them at the grand theatre leeds, gave errol a lift home afterwards

  • saw them at the grand theatre leeds, then gave errol a lift home in my cab

  • CLASSIC..

  • no doubt it their best song

  • this is such a classic tune from the 70s early 80s

  • That is pure Pop.

Did you mentioned the "trousers" at 1:39 lol

  • "No doubt about it" were the very words Deputy Base commander Charles Halt said on his tape recorder the very same year at the Rendlesham Forest sighting .. weird

  • Fantastic song from brilliant band

  • This is good song . Errol Brown is a handsome guy .

This video tells a good story , a group of men who take a night stroll one night and meet some sexy looking female aliens . Sounds good to me . Just call this song 'Female Alien Contact Day '

  • einfach Spitze einfach Super

    Danke für den upload

  • what a great bassline.....reminds me of the era of video tape...

  • Thirty years ago, and its still great to listen to this song.

  • Great song.

  • great track wish it went on longer,a re-mix would be nice .

  • Written by 2 good friends of mine Steve Glen and Mick Burns also the late Dave Most wot a good song. Great memories

  • I was in military basic training, when they played this song day in day out. Stil brings memories back.

  • I have this on 7" vinyl :)

  • This song is about UFOS, I believe in it!

  • What a daring and seminal jam from Caliente Xocolate as they're known in my native Spain. in 1980 when i first heard this I took on a transformation into a another being, or rather an inanimate anal probe as i let Errol's silky vocals bend &shape me into the probe that entered his rear end. We not only feel for Eroll with this but we feel AS the probe. It's this duality and discussion of alien lifefroms that influenced the 20th Centruy Masters that are AFF.

  • @harveyderf mister, I don't know who you are, or what your gig is, but Errol here is CLEARLY in a deep state of turmoil, if not distress! if YOU are the one responsible for his alien abduction and subsequent probing, then you have a lot to answer for! how do you sleep at night? though silky, his smooth stylings gloss over lyrics rife with PAIN, FEAR, and INVASION! the INVASION being that of the poor man's innocent cornhole! I DEMAND AN APOLOGY, and I believe Errol deserves one, too! HE'S SCARED!

  • @jasonismyhomie Errols lyrics were designed to summon alien life forms. it's a little known fact that he paid Nasa to beam this song out to the galaxy no stop for a month, just hoping for some alien anal contact. Then somehow with perhaps alien intervention space, time and matter were all warped and melded into one anal probe as i transformed and existed in that dark yet spiritually illuminating corner of the universe. It was what Eroll always dreamed of like I dream of the moonstar.

  • @harveyderf Oh, so its HIS fault now? I still don't buy what you're selling, mr. Snake Oil! Was it only ME who was witnessing a man's eyes flash from fear to confusion to an all knowing & all consuming DREAD? Perhaps Errol wished to contact other life forces, but I do not believe for one HOT MINUTE he wished to have his corridor of creation debased! He deserves closure, but physically & psychologically! THE MAN'S ANUS HAS BEEN AGAPE FOR SOME ODD 30 YEARS!!! Could you live with that? I think not!

  • @jasonismyhomie HMMM! I don't think you are who you say you are! You seem to allude to the secret text that only a few know of, the National Treasure 1 & 2, the rune that reads 'As we walk through the corridor of creation...We pray for the unseen to be seen by the eyes of man, when heaven and earth are hand in hand

Thy will be done'. You see Es cornhole is that prophesied corridor of creation, he knew it. he invited the alien ants from a farm many light years away from us so we could learn.

  • @harveyderf I know but one prophet, & that is the famed recluse T. Mortimer. He uttered that cryptic phrase once over an enchanting yet banging beat remniscent of the iconic Mortal Kombat theme. Did he plagurize this from an ancient tome? I know not of such myth. See, as much as I long to be as great, I am not Nicolas Cage & I lack his beyond genius intellect & unparalleled ability to link clues & hints that would be utterly obscure to us mere mortals. Perhaps he is an alien as well?

  • It looks like Captain Picard and LaBelle had their patterns mixed up in the transporter...

  • Me fez voltar à minha infância...It made me go back to my childhood...UNIVERSAL!

  • what an immense bass line this tune's got. i love it almost as much as errol's groovy silver suit.. i was once told and hence believed for years that errol lived in faversham, kent.. just found out he lives in barbados lol..

  • @bobskins808 Faversham, Barbados... :-) I've heard he has a council house in Slough.

  • i know how he feels

  • Hahaha! What a trip! I love that sparkle in his eyes.

  • Brillant lyrics .. excellent... Thnx for sharing

  • 3:32pm Friday (CDT) - Time in MUYnited States of America

    yum

  • This is my fav hc single. Errol, you are just so cool!

  • wtf kind a corporate asshole would sponser this. SOMEONE BACKED THIS SHIT WITH MONEY.

  • @TheBlueMidKnight

    It's what they called the 1980s. . . .

  • dont niggaz fooled me this time.

  • First time I've heard this song. Don't think it made the charts in NZ.

  • WHAT A LOAD OF SHIT

  • @mikey0080 Sums up your comment perfectly.

  • it wasn't their best. I prefered you sexy thing... they had many other good songs mind

  • my favourite Hot Chocolate song :)

  • The 70's & 80's were by far the best era's for music

  • Bet you never knew that Hot Chocolate were the only group to get a record into the uk charts in every single year of the 1970's.

    Are they still going today?

  • @davey7601 hot chocolate maybe ,but not fronted by Errol Brown -he retired last year x

  • love this song to bits, should have been a number one

  • love it, that errol is such a cool dude even now !! he still looks the bollocks at 62 hope i do at that age lol !!!

  • I dance with a girl one night 1984 to that song, a was drunk and she was nearly naked, guess what happen! The day after I went to another girl for a little...I was hopeless then! Forgive me!!

  • lol ATSmaster. is it really 7 months since i made that comment!

  • It's already been said but the bass on this is a monster. Unlike alot of Hot Chocolate material this song wasn't written by Brown, but it apparently was about Errol seeing a UFO whilst driving down the Edgware Road one night, or something like that.

  • Brilliant! 5*

    Many thanks for posting

  • No you are if anyone is mate

  • one of the BEST bass lines of all time.

This bass player was a genius!

    Does anyone know his name?

    Regards from the Palatinate, Germany

  • @osinho1234 Dude, I could not agree with you more. I've spent the last week trying to find any sheet music or tabs for this bass line but it's freakin' impossible! :(

  • @osinho1234 Also, I'm pretty sure the bassist who played on this song was Patrick Olive.

  • @apwminis yes it was Patrick

  • @reddirtgirl55 Thankyou for clarification. Hook me up with the sheet music for this :)

  • I have just seen it on EBAY, you will have to register to bid, it is currently £11:00 but you have plenty of time!! Bidding doesnt close for another 11 days or so. You will have to pay alot, it is deleted a long time. GOOD LUCK! Let me know if you are successful. Deb

  • I think it was one of their roadies who seen a ufo

  • Never seen an alien, but this song was out when I did a walking tour of NE Scotland in 1980. I spent one night camped out in a wood in Caithness and some animal kept making a really strange flutey noise, never did find out what it was. What could it be? Quite eerie.

  • magnificent, classy song. why we can't have such masterpieces these days?

  • @lkijju Because the modern generation are all idiots :)

  • @lkijju Beacuse it belongs to the past. it can not be like before, it was not so then either

  • @lkijju because they dont no what good music is they forgot these days

  • I just LOVED this song when i was little, I'd think.....if only it was true and aliens existed. And now, all these years later we all know....deep down...ohhhnooo NO DOUBT ABOUT IT

  • Another rumour I heard was that this was a song was based on a experience Eroll was supposed to have had ....true or not ?
