I figured it out! The first half would most likely been done in one shot but at 2:30 they line up the TV so they can make a new cut allowing for the major set change! Pretty damned clever!

They could've possibly cut around the second time the tv appears (making it both crucial and practical) and when he lifts the blanket.

In terms of minor changes in amount of people/positioning they did speed up the video. Also a practicality issue that was worked to their advantage (very effectively)

Men that´s imposible. This video can´t be shot in one take. It´s very stupid to say that. For example when the camara moves to film de tv, they can make cuts in that transition. Also I think that there is a change in the scale of the decoration, a tool that gondry uses very often. If you can explain you opinion, i would be very pleased.
