Hilariously, I am a girl who wears Dior Homme on rare occasions. I mean, I only have a small vial and it's very "particular situation" for me, but I DO rock that shit out. ;)
I subscribed after this and your thinking face is too much haha. Plus it might be the gay in me but I totally enjoy men's fragrances on myself or on other women but none the less prefer them over perfume so I love your insights and the nerdy research type vibe. Very enjoyable! As for the many comments about your lack of facial hair, it's overrated and no one enjoys looking like a bum. :P So keep it up! Lovely videos.
Have to disagree with you on one of your comments. Most of the time, cheaper designer fragrances will actually have better sillage (project more) and last much longer than niche fragrances. The ingredients in Creed's fragrances are generally more natural (or at least claim to be) while the synthetic notes in most designer fragrances are made to last longer on the skin and in the bottle. The natural ingredients in a Creed can cause it to turn over time and gives it a much shorter shelf life.
Millisime Imperial, CAN be worn for any occasion. Woman CAN pull this off. They aren't trying to make it convenient, out of 1,000+ Fragrances that I have tested, Millisime Imperial has to be one of the most Unisex fragrances out there. Transparent and not overwhelming, Can be used for any occasion. But on the other hand, I like your take on fragrances you should make more Fragrance videos and maybe review them individually.
@omfggoogle Haha, great comment. People in Washington have no idea what they are doing. People in Malibu own the big corporations, which Washington basically cater to . haha.
@cutevwbug I think they are worth it because they require such small amounts and they tend to last for years and years. If you think fragrances are important, it is worth it to invest in one great one. But if you like having many different frangrances, it really isnt worth the splurge. I get mine from Fred Segal, but Creed is sold at a lot of high-end retailers and online :D
@TheSublimeAgent We don't have Fred Segal here in Seattle but, we do have NM. I have tried several Creed's but, I think their men's line is nicer than the women's fragrances. I know they are all considered unisex but, that is silly (like you said).
*dies* haha. That's my favorite Creed one, I have to get it next month.
My faves are Clinique Happy, Marc Jacobs, and Prada Infusion D'Homme.
I love Dior Homme as well, I just never repurchased, clean, laundry scents are more my thing and that has a hint of it but yeah, im a Clinique Happy person. haha
@MHindash The sea is a pain in the ass sometimes. I will look into silver mountain water. Clinique happy....interesting. What do you wear when you are grumpy?
@MHindash From your Twitter, I think you are underestimating your potential for great grumpiness. :D I will continue to assess the situation as it unfolds.
@jikling I hesitate to unveil the meaning of the name. It does have a meaning though....hmm, I use the word "sublime" as it pertains to its use in critical theory (something that cannot be explained by current range of performative modalities...something that is transcendent). The word "agent" relates to the word agency (i.e. ethical assertiveness to take an action). Basically, an agent of the sublime
@CasualLuxuries Heheh. I will take that comment at face value and say thank you! I appreciate it. Everyone avoids French terms, but I figure, why not try to pronounce them. People make fun of me for pronouncing Guerlain like gerlahn (which is how french people pronounce it....urgh haha).
@TheSublimeAgent Thank you for pronouncing the French terms correclty. As I appericate the way you respect ones name. Personally I love every French word you pronounce. I truly do appericate your intelligence so keep on sharing :) Also it is only apporiate to pronounce ones name the way it should be. So please don't ever be discouraged to say ones name.
Great video. Creed was founded in 1760 in England and about one hundred years later moved to Paris. Neiman Marcus customer service sukz. I like Creed, Tom Ford, and Dior Fragrance houses .
I find it interesting that you say musky and wood scents are masculine. My everyday perfum since 1999 has watermelon as a top note, lily, and wood. I don't like musky smells but my mom likes to wear them. To each their own.
i LOVE tom ford. his fragrances so such beautiful quality & 2 sprays last all day! ive had my 100ml of black orchid for 2 years now and its still going! :)
@AllaMillerify I did use to have that scent. I loved it. I find it very fresh, clean, and casual. I have been in an overpowering mood this year, so I have been trending toward harsh, spicy scents. Thanks :D
Great video<3! My dad uses Creed colognes =) My favorite cologne in Jean Paul Gaultier in White Orange Blossom. I know it sounds like a perfume but it is a cologne XD It's the one in the ALL white bottle. It's hard to find now, i think it was limited edition XD Thanks so much for making these videos!! I learn so much!
My favorite male fragrance of all time is.... swiss army for men... a 450lb swahili man in a wheelchair could be wearing it and id be all over his ass... have u smelled it? i dont know if its available in the US but it used to be high end in dept stores for $80 but since swiss army went under its now available in walmart for $19.99, but i dont care the smell is amazing, i used to buy bottles and spray it all over my bed haha <3
@sethakins7 AHH, that was my first fragrance I ever owned! The one in the blue bottle? I also love the one with the silver jeans...the bottle that's shaped like a guy! You are awesome :D
This was extremely helpful! I seriously love the style of your videos. You speak so well and your reviews are very thorough without being too much. Thank you so much for this video!
I know you weren't going to list a ton of fragrances....that gets so confusing & not so helpful. But, do you have any suggestions for men's fragrances that are more like "all-occasion" (you know what I mean, fragrance isn't ever appropriate in a court room), every day wear, shopping, going out, something more multi-purpose than the Creed.
My DH likes to wear fragrance almost daily, can you mention some others along the lines of Dior Homme?
@MDTrauma To be honest, I havent really tried enough other lines to make a solid recommendation. I have about five other fragrances that I use regularly. I love tom ford's jasmine musk, and tabbaco vanille. The former is probably a more appropriate daily fragrance (It is really something special). I have a bad habit of only going for fragrances that are really powerful. Bulgari Aqua is the only one I have that is probably mutli-purpose. Thanks !!
Thanks for sharing this, my husband is so manly he won't wear anything but Axe spray. I so need to get him something and then force him to use it, lol.
@ginabinawina99 Wow, you are seriously too great! Since I cant verify that you are a physical person, I am going to have to assume you are an angel or some beautiful ball of energy :D
You should try paco rabanne's black xs, as well as 1 million by the same the company. Also try allure sport by chanel. I love these fragrances for men but my emphasis goes to black xs. I used to like it whenever my brother wears it and I still do.
Fabulous! I LOVE Creed! I own Himalaya, Original Santal, and Love in Black. I need to try the one you mentioned. I always find that with Creed I have that "hit or miss" experience, but I haven't smelled them all. Thanks dear. Oh and your "comments" were very true and hilarious haha.
@ThesPNation Haha, Neiman Marcus is great, but they are certaintly not as helpful (honest?) as I would like. They are like the youtubers who give positive reviews of anything...even when they havent tried it. Fabulush Hunty!! -Michael
