President Bush has already misconstrued liberty for the generation growing up now. Instead of allowing freedom of speech he censored everything and any one. What fact do you have that Barack Obama would "lead us down"? Please don't say its because of his inexperience because America's needs someone who hasn't been defined by dirty politics. Some in this country are scared to change. People are scared of what they don't know,so they tell themselves that they won't vote for Obama because he is muslim,or"HIlter",or whatever,in order to justify their racism.
I believe that people should vote for candidates based on issues not on race.A person cannot choose the color of their skin,so it shouldn't matter.

Further more we hold all the power.Obama is a great speech giver,and he does move thousands.Wait there was a president like that a few years ago by the name of John F. Kennedy.He moved thousands with his speeches, he had a vision of change that brought America into the 20th century.His vision allowed people to hope and dream like they had not in many years.Why Hitler and not Kennedy I guess it is easier to demonize a black man w/ Hitler than Kennedy.

LOL like they don't have trailer parks in Boston. whites have had centuries to consolidate their wealth and power in this country, while blacks just forty years ago got civil rights and right attend same schools as whites. That is forty years of progress compared to about 400 years of white progress. Of course, Whites are going to be ahead. I find it amazing that Obama is doing so well, given the fact that blacks just recently got civil rights in America.

I agree with you 100%. I think that we are all Americans regardless of what skincolor. That is what's so disheartening about this election; how people are making it a race or gender issue. I look forward to the day when all of the old racist and sexist people die off, and the new generation move forward toward progress and equality unaware of the blood, sweat, and tears of people who have died for the idea of freedom and equality.

My grandfather fought in WW2 and he spoke very well of the english people. He said that while on leave in London all of the American whites were pissed at the Londoners for allowing blacks to drink with whites. My grandfather said that the English people treated them far better than they were treated in America.

I see your prediction and raise you what I predict will be a landslide in NOvember. An unpopular war + a weakening economy + high gas prices + the public's discontent of the GOP= victory for Obama.
I used to like McCain, when he really was a maverick. Today I cannot tell the difference between him and the rest of the neo-cons. The only way Obama can lose will be if "bitter" hillary supporters swing towards McCain just to spite Obama. The democrats have a history of fucking up elections.

I concur. As a black person, I feel despite all the negative stereotypical behavior, blacks have made tremendous progress. People who make their racists comments seem to forget their are people of all racists who do low-class things. Why are blacks always characterized as such? Obama is the man to change the face of America, like him or not.
