  • Ja, Kai Tak was geweldig !

Beelden van de naoorlogse HK heb ik nog nooit gezien. Mijn ouders hadden er toch heel vaak over. Sha Tin is nu zeker geen plaatenland meer !!

  • I live in Shatin...no longer a quiet place ^-^ But thank you for showing us when it was!

  • 南無阿彌陀佛

  • I have introduce you to all my friends and hope they can enjoy your contribution like me, thanks a lot old man.

  • Thanks.

  • About Kai Tak: Tricky indeed but as an aviation enthousiast and as a (private) pilot, I really loved the approach. I was able just once to do it in the cockpit from the jump seat.

  • Must have been a unique experience indeed. There is a very nice clip showing planes almost touching Kowloon house tops when landing.

  • These pictures are way beyond my time. I remember my late father always talked about those good old time in old HK. Now I got a chance to see what was HK looks like back in that era. Thank you Mike, you had helped me to reconnect my time and memories with my late father. Thanks for the posting!!!

  • Very precious photos and nice background music.

  • Michael, a big thank-you for the picture of the old Peak Tram Staion, together with the bus stop. I went to St. Paul's Co-ed. College on MacDonnell Road in the 60's. After school I waited in front of the Peak Tram Station for the bus to go home. This picture has brought back many fond memories of my school days.
