1.MLK-God bless him-at his best wasn't acting under direct Divine Inspiration; but rather indirectly influenced by the sum of the Law & the Prophets as FULFILLED in the NT. It's like the Declaration & Constitution; They weren't verbally transcribed by God but influenced by His principles.

2.The Ancient Israelites didn't live in a society with the option of civil disobediance.

3.Samson as far as he was concerned acted independantly. Conversely God used his brashness.
