Very lovely performance of perhaps my very favorite of all Ravel's works. This rivals my favorite performance, Jill Gomez with Boulez.

This just made my morning. Wish she had more performance videos here. I really LOVED her and her Tornami/Caro Nome in The Audition and I agree, I bet those judges are now prolly kicking themselves for snubbing her.

She was also in a documentary film called "The Audition", which is available on DVD from PBS, and is occasionally on PBS as well.

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing her live yet, but she made such an incredible impression in The Audition that I was totally wowed ever since!

@chrismcgovernmusic Hmm, I haven't heard her performance in "The Audition", but how the judges could snub someone with such a wonderful voice is beyond me!

I really am interested in hearing more of her, but sadly there doesn't seem to be any more of her performances on youtube...

This was a thoroughly enjoyable performance. Kiera has a very wonderful glowing voice, and the ensemble was excellent in dynamics, tone and pitch. Bravo! Ravel was truly a master.

@arcturian627 Amen to that! I wish she didn't get snubbed at the end of "The Audition". Those judges are probably kicking themselves now since she's been gaining some recognition.
