I remember getting introduced to this band by Ronnie's sister, i was at a show i think it was everclear at aragon ballroom.. She invited me and my friends to come see this awesome new band at metro for free.... Triplefastaction at metro for free... by the end of the show the people who didn't know knew
These guys had to disband because they were being charged in multiple jurisdictions with assault and battery as a result of their kicking way too much ass all the time.
All of their shows were amazing. It was tough being at their last show but seeing them play Superstar with every guitarist that filled in for Ron Schneider was incredible.
wow I'm glad i found this vid, great band, wish music was this way again, being a teen in the 90's was something great to me, now adays it's all bullshit.
What a great band! can you say under-rated! But for the one who enjoyed T3FA "ROCK ON!" I was lucky enough to catch their "last" show 24 May 1998. even though they have played a few shows since then on off shows
This band rocked. I fell upon them by accident in 1996 in Boston at The Paradise, when they were on tour. TFA were the middle band, wedged in between the headliner (Magnapop) and the opening band (The Figgs). There were only about 100 people there for the entire show, right after Magnapop had their big hit. TFA were so loud and powerful, just mindblowing. I picked up 'Broadcaster' the next day. What an amazing album with the signature 90s sound.
I use to sing in a band called LOVENGINEAR, we were from Champaign, Il. We used to open for RIGHT OF THE ACCUSED. Wes is a great guy. had some great shows and drank like crazy. Good times..bad hangovers...oh well...

great to see Blake Smith (Fig Dish, Caviar, Prairie Cartel) playing with the boys.
and IIRC, Brian's nickname is "Animal", i.e. from the Muppets and their band Electric Mayhem. you can now catch Brian with Scott Lucas in Local H.
pretty sure that's Kevin Tihista on bass meaning it is Blake filling in for Ronnie Schneider, of Ronnie's Pants fame (see b-sides/outtakes) on guitar.
thanks Samhain35 for a great blast from the past!

@larzz77 I was there too. They played every one of their songs except one. I miss this band. Chicago had so many good bands during that time.
