This is such a "Dachshund Thing". Ours did the same thing as well. They seem to be drawn to it (water coming from a hose) like a cat to moving string. Thanks for sharing the memories.

Your litlle Dachshund is a lot more braver than mine!!...lol. She is a rescued dog and she is VERY timid and skiddish. She acts bad behind a closed door but when it opens... she runs!! We had a car wash the other day (and I felt sooo bad that I forgot to consider the noise and the fact that I have never taken her with for a car wash) and as we were sitting inside, the machine sprayed forceful water on the windshield and she jumped back and then hid under my arm in my jacket. I felt sooo bad.

@diamend I know how you feel. I had a dachshund for 14 years... and we lost her to a tumor as well but in her stomach. This breed of dog is seriously one of the best out there. They're so smart, and so sweet. Everyone needs a dachshund in their life.

Oh sweetie, be careful letting your dog get close to the mower. If it runs over something in the yard, it can throw it out at great force and possibly injure your furbaby. I once ran over something and it flew across the alley and hit a lady standing in her backyard. Take care.
