@JRiceWrestling Beleive it or not that's how much a fully loaded lariat costs in canada. Next time I buy a truck I'm going to the states. I spent 32 grand on my 2011 supercab 4x4 3.7 XLT. I could have purchased an FX4 supercrew ecoboost in the states.

I love how ford inc always puts the keyless entry, that is a very smart inovation i know they have had for so many years, it doesnt look good when its actual buttons but when its touch sensitive like on the taurus and lincolns its a keeper

@G7130 A very nice choice indeed. The GM at the dealership where I work has one. If you don't mind me asking, what color and engine choice do you have in mind? I say this because the new Platinums for 2011 have either the 5.0L V8 (360 hp; 380 lb/ft) or the new 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (365 hp; 420 lb/ft). I personally would just have an FX4 in Sterling Grey Metallic, but good luck to you and your new Platinum when you get it.

Great review brother, I have the 08 limited that I just finished paying off and I'm surprised they made another one. I'm going to take a look at the new one tomorrow at my local ford. I like all new features and specially the 6.2 V8 with the 6 speed. I might just have to get this one and have 2 limiteds. Thanks for the review.

i went test driving cars with my friend and his dad and we were at a ford dealership and i saw this truck and now i am in love with it. i can get my learners permit may of 2012 so it may be awhile till i can get one. i have two questions first is if you can start it remotely why do you still have to turn the key in the ignition? whats the point of a remote start; and do you have any idea on how many have been bought?

good walk around except the heated seats in the back or only heated and not ventalated, also that is a sony navigation radio not the full my ford touch you see on edge and explorer, also this vehicle is a 2 high 4x4 high and awd on the fly no 4 low. I would have shown the full flat back and lifted the seats up to show the 700 watt stereo system. but other then that you gave me alot of info i really liked thanks!

@rmz213 For 2011, Ford eliminated the gauge sweep from the new F150. The Super Duty F250s/ 350s and so on have it, but not the 150 unfortunately.

@Blopdomia You're absolutely right. There have been situations (none I've been in), where the vehicle will lock itself when not in use. Rolling the window down is just a precaution if such an incident were to occur.

@locoguy2427 I leave the door cracked or the window down because sometimes there have been situations where a vehicle will lock itself, and if that instance were to occur, I wouldn't have to go grab the spare key to it, and I'd have a much easier access to the door lock switches.

Thats NOT My Ford Touch. Its just a Nav screen with audio and hvac controals.

My Touch is olny on the 2011 Explorer and Edge.

@SuperFordguy123 I'm in quite the big agreement on that note! I love the Platinum edition F150, but this one is just amazing. The only downside to this truck, believe it or not, you can get any option in the book, except a different color. The Lariat Limited only comes in the White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat which is a bit of a bummer.
