  • the question is not who would collect ak47's but who would want to collect gayr15's. im also an ak47 guy & the im better than you ar guys rub me the wrong way, lets see an ar15 cycle with muddy steel cased Russian ammo & a hand full of dirt in the receiver.

  • No man we definitely won the cold war!

  • AK-47'S ...BADASS RIFLE!!!

  • i want russian ak-47poster i got a few spetsnaz patches though

  • AK-47&カラシニコフ・バリエーション

    you have rare book.

  • thanks, I think so too

  • Great video, just placed an order for the Guns and Ammo "Book of the AK47 2009". Looking forward to it!

  • thanks for the vid. you should check out this book by michael hodges "AK 47 the story of a gun" if you haven't already. has a X-ray picture of a underfolder on it. i never finished a book so fast, has a bunch of small stories of the gun from all over the world in different wars.

  • I've seen that one, but never read it.. yet

Thanks for the info on it. I'll check it out

  • I want to get a copy of that back issue of Guns 'n Ammo "From the Cold War to Iraq" on the AK 47! THAT looks like an awesome read. You said you had to special order it, from who Guns 'n Ammo or a distributor? How much? How long did you wait? Thanks!

  • I bought it on their website (gun & ammo) and it was no more than the cover price, It took a few days, or a week.. I didn't wait too long for it at all

  • I hear that other than the Russian-made AK's, Bulgaria was a good producer of AK rifles. Them and Yugoslavia (M70). Is that why Bulgarian AK's are more expensive?

  • Well.. I think that debate will go on for a long time..

Don't tell anyone from Poland the Bulgarian AKs are the best, LOL

But I like ANY factory made AK.. so Chinese, Bulgarian, Yugo, Hungry, Poland, (list all the other countries here)

All of these are about equal in my book

    Well equal after Russia..

As far as stuff in the US.. well we sort of get the scraps, and stuff made from the scraps, so it depends on the builder

Sorry I can't offer one or two specifics.. but that's a big question..

  • i like the ak and the ar-15

  • me too.. just the AK a bit more

  • ya... same. good video btw

  • You probably know is it true?:

"there is no such thing as AK-47. There was in 1947 one of the prototyphe version (slightly different than nowadays) but there was ak48 and ak49 ass well.

What russian army have is AK and AKM with no year or any number. And these is proper name for these gun."

I read these in some profesional gun magazine.

  • I'd have to look that up..

I think this might just be a translation issue though

  • ak vodka, good for two things, killing brain cells and cleaning your ak!

  • responsable gun owner..thats great......educate and liberate..

  • Those AK manuals look really awesome.

  • they are cool, and something to look for at gun shows

  • I want to procure this kind of collection with the AR-15/M4A1 (I know they aren't the same).

  • Your mak-90 and the brochure that was written by a Chinese man who speaks English. The word that's commonly used around here is Chinglish, which is Chinese English that butchered.

  • my bad sell not see typo

  • they actually see a bottle of vodka shape like an ak47.

  • yup there are a few types

  • back to the crap camera?

  • actually this is the last of the good one.. it's just so 'freshly posted' that it's all grainy .. it will clear up after you tube does their magic
